Sofitel Grand Sopot

We spent a fabulous week with the family at the Grand Hotel Sopot at the end of October. Outside of the season, the hotel was calm during the week, but still buzzing on the weekends. The service was impeccable. Easily the best I have ever had in any hotel. From the friendly reception, to the outstanding breakfast service with a seaside view, to room service and general staff: This hotel is made special not by the rooms or spa area, but by the people that run it. There is thoughtfulness and attention to detail that is truly five star. It is one thing to have kids bathrobes ready in your room - another to have different sizes for a 7 and an 11-year old.

The Sofitel in Sopot offers great sea-side views, excellent food, an outstanding breakfast and a truly personal five star service with a family friendly very personal touch. It will remain our place of choice for an autumn getaway with the family.

We just had a Great week here at the Grand Hotel Sopot ! Every day started with one of the delicious breakfast menues, and there was a great variety to choose from. The room service and reception took care of any little wish and request that one could Imagine, overall a wonderful experience.

This hotel is an institution in Sopot with its rich history, many renowned guests who stayed there, and most importantly an amazing location by the beach overlooking the famous pier. I throughly enjoyed my experience mostly due to the quality of service and the bedding. As for the first, it started with a smooth and kind check-in experience, accommodating service throughout the stay, all the way to an extremely fast check-out. As for the latter, the soft mattress and little gestures like tea placed next to bed during the evening turn-down service made my night rest an unforgettable experience. I'd definitely recommend staying at Sofitel!

The Sofitel Grand Sopot is a beautiful hotel with stunning sea views and a prime beachfront location. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the food is excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, making the stay even more enjoyable. Perfect spot for a relaxing getaway in Sopot.

We spent a long weekend at Sofitel Grand Sopot, celebrating my wife's birthday. It was our first time at this hotel, but we heard a lot of good things about it before and were very keen to stay there. The building is very impressive, the location great, especially, with a private beach area on a crowded beach. We received an upgrade to a nice Junior Suite facing the sea. The room was large and well equipped. We didn't like the design as it was rather new for an old grand hotel but too old for a modern luxury design. The service was very good and the whole team made an effort to make it a nice birthday celebration for my wife. Our kids enjoyed the kids club, the inside pool as well as the beach area. The breakfast offered a very nice variety and the menu for welcome drinks gifted by Accor was one of the best I have seen so far. Thanks again to the whole team for making it a pleasant stay for us.

The Sofitel Grand Sopot, was the venue for our wedding dinner for about 30 guests in October 2023. Everything was perfectly organised, the service fully professional, very helpful and nice. The dinner consisted of a starter, 2 courses and dessert. The food was delicious, beautifully served, over-the-top and mouth-watering.
In addition, we were able to enjoy a wedding cake, brought in from outside.
We are very happy with the service of the hotel, the organisation of the event by Mrs. Kaja, who took care of every detail. The venue is beautiful and historic, romantic and classy. We used not only the Blue room but also the terrace, garden and bar. We have beautiful memories of the event - I sincerely recommend it !

Our hotel room looked like a mix of maid’s room mixed with PRL bathroom in yellow tile.
No room should look like this in a 5 star hotel.
Worse than other Sofitels.

The one dinner I had there, we had very friendly service and a very good meal.
I also want to give a special shoutout to our server Anna for making our dining experience truly memorable. She was an absolute gem, knew the menu, offered great recommendations, and cared about guest feedback. We’ll be asking for the next time we visit😀

A gorgeous hotel just few steps from the beach and the sea. Amazing view from the room. Wonderful staff. The bed is so comfortable that you feel like sleeping on a cloud in Heaven. Loved it! Will be back. Thank you
