Sofitel Grand Hotel

Perfect location. The beach is gorgeous. Right on the walking path. Close to the piers and restaurants.

We checked in while they were filming and we weren't able to use most of the entrances nor the garden. They were limiting the ability to walk on the beach. We received macaroons for the inconvenience but a few cookies when you can't use part of the amenities on your vacation wasn't really making up for anything. It would have been nice to have advance notice so we could decide if we wanted the impact.

The hotel is also dated. It is obviously older and every though it is clean, it just looks older. The staff are really friendly. The beds were comfortable in the rooms and our view was nice. The pool, sauna and steam rooms were nice.

The lobby bar is big. Dated furniture but nice liquor selection and view.

Regarding the Sofitel in Sopot, the location and service were fantastic, truly enhancing my stay. However, it’s time to consider updating the rooms, which still reflect the 1980s and 90s, with more modern designs.

We had an absolutely fantastic 3-night stay at the Sofitel Grand Sopot. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and well-furnished, combining classic charm with modern comfort. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful—truly focused on delivering a premium guest experience.

The hotel is also thoughtfully designed for families. There’s a kids’ playroom that's perfect for rainy days or evenings, and the pool area offers something for all ages. The on-site restaurant is outstanding, with top-quality food and attentive service.

I can’t say enough good things about this place—it exceeded our expectations in every way. Highly recommend!

It was a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The building is incredibly beautiful and impressive. The sea view is absolutely stunning. The staff is very attentive. Gifts are provided for children. We are 100% satisfied.
Just a note — the hotel is quite old, and the interior design might feel a bit dated to some.

Everything was effortless and as expected, perfection. The room was superb, the view even better. The breakfast was everything you could wish for and the dinner was out of this world.

Absolutely stunning hotel with 5+ star treatment and services. They even clean your room a second time each day. Great staff. You’re treated like royalty. Right on the beach, very close to numerous restaurants, the pier and even a small Starbucks a few hundred feet away on the beach. Recommended.

Wonderful hotel with long traditions. There's fitness room 24/7. Swimming pool, spa. Rooms are comfy, spec clean and with all the amenities you may wish (iron and ironing board including)

My friend and I had a very nice breakfast at the grand hotel. The staff was perfect : all were very welcoming and considerate. The food was delicious and diverse. The dining room has a beautiful view over the beach.

We spent a fabulous week with the family at the Grand Hotel Sopot at the end of October. Outside of the season, the hotel was calm during the week, but still buzzing on the weekends. The service was impeccable. Easily the best I have ever had in any hotel. From the friendly reception, to the outstanding breakfast service with a seaside view, to room service and general staff: This hotel is made special not by the rooms or spa area, but by the people that run it. There is thoughtfulness and attention to detail that is truly five star. It is one thing to have kids bathrobes ready in your room - another to have different sizes for a 7 and an 11-year old.

The Sofitel in Sopot offers great sea-side views, excellent food, an outstanding breakfast and a truly personal five star service with a family friendly very personal touch. It will remain our place of choice for an autumn getaway with the family.

We just had a Great week here at the Grand Hotel Sopot ! Every day started with one of the delicious breakfast menues, and there was a great variety to choose from. The room service and reception took care of any little wish and request that one could Imagine, overall a wonderful experience.
