The hotel is nice, but the service is lacking. Much of the staff were unable to answer basic questions like what does a certain item on their menu contain. And rather thab find out, they ignore you or direct you to someone else, who probably also does not know the answer. Location is excellent and right at the beach, surrounded by many restaurants.
Everything is at the highest level. I like this hotel because I always feel like a premium guest. I am always treated like that. In addition, the hotel is in the very center of Sopot, so it is close to the pier or Monciak. I recommend it to everyone

I went to the spa there and had a lovely face massages with gua sha.
We came back! Love the menu! Now with Oudon noodles!, Halibut!, Tartar!. All great! Just very goofy with the woman in the blond ponytail marching around with a broom and turning up the the lights while we were dining. I could have done without that. Otherwise, the service was excellent!!

Regarding the Sofitel in Sopot, the location and service were fantastic, truly enhancing my stay. However, it’s time to consider updating the rooms, which still reflect the 1980s and 90s, with more modern designs.

Great hotel, located at the sea, professional staff. Room was rather small but comfortable. The best point are hot thubs and pools, both indoor and outdoor are available, all great. Came here to say for a 2 day conference and stayed on for a couple of days of relaxation. The hotel is located right on the beach with amazing sea views. It also has great spa facilities and a rooftop pool / terrace. We went just for a coffee on a few summer mornings. Staff is kind snd polite. Coffee was good. We did not stay at hotel. The lobby was clean is nice. Coffee can be drunk in various areas in and outside hotel, sitting 50 meters away from beach. Not so common to have a coffee in such unusual circumstances (not being a patroon of hotel) but no problem at all.
The facilities were great and new like. The sauna/pool area was the same level, clean, stylish, modern. Only minus was that the textile free sauna section was closed suddenly, and the again opened couple days later, due to lack of clients. Understandable, but that should be communicated in advance.

The hotel is beautiful but even though well equiped, rooms are not spacious.

Great hotel and mostly great staff.
The hotel was very nice. The day staff were excellent. The night lady was pretty crusty. Asked her for a wine opener at the bar which is attached to reception. Was told “My co worker went to a party and didn’t show up and I dont know where it is. The next night we caught her with the opener in her hand and reluctantly let us open our wine bottle.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Right next to the train station, so you can easily take a train other places ( for example Gdansk and the airport). You almost can’t hear the trains from the hotel room, as long as the windows are closed. The rooms are very soundproof. Very nice room, shops nearby are great but the resturant/breakfast place at the hotel is very overpriced and the food was not so great. Our whole family also got acne and outbreaks due to the towels and pillowcases. Overall great rooms but the rest not so great.
The service lady at the front desk was kind and tried her best to solve my problem. The breakfast was really great. The three-star fee and four-star enjoyment were worth staying here. It is very close to any environment, such as high-speed rail and buses.
Perfect location near the city railway station (without any disturbing noise) and the main pedestrian street. The breakfast-buffe' was excellent and had a rich variation for all tastes.

Lovely location at the beach, close to the longest wooden pier in Europe.
The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic. When you walk out the main entrance you are on the main walkway which you can follow to the main sea-side square with plenty of shops, entertainment and the main pier of Sopot.
The hotel also shares it's building with a clothes shop, trinket shop, two café's and a restaurant.
The hotel itself is gorgeous, some of the hallway was being refurbished...
This hotel is almost really good, BUT:
- Breakfast: Very good selection, but the buffet is put on the tiniest place in the (big) room so that it's getring crowded when more and more guests arrive. Staff is mostly not very motivated and kind of rude.
- Rooms: We had a room on the first floor with great view, but when neighbors start smoking, you get the smell in your room... And smoking is not allowed...
