Great location and everything you need on your doorstep. The girl on reception is very helpful if you need anything.
We stayed for 8 days initially then returned to Koh Chang after visiting other Islands. Phoned up and booked directly, think that tells you we were more than happy with everything.

The air conditioner is Nong Yai. The air conditioner must be 20,000 and up. The room should not be more than 8,000. It's terribly hot.

Bamboo is a beachfront hotel where we have stayed several times. The hotel is a bit older, but everything is clean and in working order. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly place right by the beach, this is probably the right spot for you.

Very disappointed with the welcoming at the reception 😞😞😞😞and we thought it is OK “maybe it is just a bad day of the staff!!! “
Not sure about it but that place made us to regret of being in that island 🥲!!!! No sense of humour at all!!! No service!!! No smile!!!
Nobody would like to face that while dreaming a great vacation in that beautiful and peaceful 🇹🇭
Till we had that unfortunate experience, we really enjoyed every moment and every landscape of the lovely country!!! but not that spot!!!😞

We had an unfortunate stay at the hotel. Lady at the reception was so rude and didn’t want to solve any problems we had. I think the island is already overbooked and they think that anyway they will have the new customers. But in future they will see the results of this negative comments

The restaurant on the beach has the best chicken skewers I had in Thailand so far. Budget friendly prices next to the tourist rip off bars. Full recommendation , 5+ (No opinion about the hotel since we stayed somewhere else)

We spent one night in a room with a sea view, but from our room we could only see the roof and a tree.
The hotel is tired.

Breakfast is a la carte - we took American.
On the beach you can sit on chairs from the hotel. There are sun loungers near the pool, but since the hotel is on the shore, you can see the sea from the sun lounger and it feels like you are lying on the shore. In the evening you can hear music from neighboring hotels, but it is not critical.
In the evening, the hotel restaurant sets up tables on the shore where you can have a snack.
Overall, the hotel is good.

The calving was disappointing. Apart from its location in the very center of the white sand, there is nothing to boast about. 5-6 years ago everything looked much better. And the point is not even that repairs are needed. It feels like the owners don’t even have the desire to do better. The sun loungers by the pool are dirty, it’s scary to even sit on them. There are no mattresses for sun loungers, no umbrellas. The stairs to the sea are also in poor condition. Cleaning is only done if you ask, and then minimal. During the week the bed sheets were not changed even once. I had to ask every time for coffee and shampoo to be brought. Breakfast a la carte, no choice. Either American or pancake. There wasn’t even fruit included with either the first or the second. In general, I will not go to this hotel again and do not recommend it.

This is a chic hotel in its own way, I went around the island in search of something better, but came back here again, it’s very comfortable here, like home.
