The Umbrella House - SHA Extra Plus

I stayed here during my recent holiday and was thoroughly impressed. Everything from the cleanliness to the service and the incredibly friendly staff exceeded my expectations. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the beach. Whenever I needed assistance, the staff were always attentive and eager to help. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in Kamala!

My boyfriend and I came to Phuket over New Year's and absolutely loved our stay at Umbrella House. We were especially impressed by the hospitality of our host Bon. Bon was so helpful - on our first day, we took a Grab car from the airport to Umbrella House and I accidentally chose the option to pay with cash instead of credit card - we hadn't exchanged any cash for Thai Baht yet, and our driver didn't speak any English - thankfully Bon stepped in, was able to translate for us, and lent us about 1,000 baht to cover our bill on the spot. Bon was also able to recommend great local restaurants and food, and also gave us a recommendation for a motorbike rental store we really liked. The property is also really beautiful - the pool is gorgeous and the rooms are spacious and very clean and modern. The bed was plush and we enjoyed our little balcony too. Plus, it's a convenient walk to the beach as well as attractions such as the local market. Would strongly recommend!

Thanks to Mr. Bon & the team we had an amazing stay at the Umbrella House. Everything is super clean and well taken care of. The location is great as you are able to walk to restaurants and the beach. Really a lovely place that I recommend highly.

So friendly....nothing was to much trouble. Took very good care of any problems that came up....that wasn't anything the hotel did (I locked myself out of our safe hahaha) The only thing I would suggest is a full length mirror for us ladies but it still has a mirror in the bathroom.

Great value for money

We had the absolut best time at The Umbrella House! The accommodation is well looked after, there is a little pool for relaxing and the host is the best we had during our 6 weeks trip through South-East Asia. He is so friendly and is doing everything to make his guests feel comfortable. The room was really big and the cleanest we had so far. Another plus is the great balcony!
