We'd been to Grand Centara Phuket in June 2024. Our stay was lovely and very comfortable.
We even got 1 room upgrade which had a small pool in the room. And the bathroom was huge.
The other room was on the top floor with a Jacuzzi on the balcony. And the view of the sea and the mountains on the side which was heavenly.
The sound of crashing waves and the chirping of the birds was very refreshing.
Breakfast spread was good with a lot of options including Indian food as many guests were Indians.
The hotel had 3 swimming pools and a lazy river and a spot for cliff jumping. Which was super fun!!

The Hotel has earned the 5 Stars. We traveled as a family with 2 children under 4 years. As we arrived we got upgraded to the big pool suite for free which was amazing. The room itself was really big with a big outside area and a massive big outside river pool with ocean view. Cleaning service was excellent. The whole area of the Hotel is very well designed. It feels like walking through an organized jungle in some areas. The pool area with the river, the waterfall, waterslides and the amazing big pool right in front of the beach is one of a kind. All staff members were extremely kind and helpful the whole time. In room dining and room service works perfectly. Everything can be ordered to the room directly. The food and drinks in the restaurants were from very good quality. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. So many choices of food.
Overall an absolutely amazing hotel which we can only highly recommend.

the hotel was very nice. room was so spacious and clean. the beach is so beautiful. kids love the pool and play all day. lots of activities for the kids in kids club.
only, it takes "some times" to do check in and check out.

This is definitely a nice hotel and the beach is beautiful. You do need to walk a bit or drive/taxi to get to the shops, food, and the Thai markets that are all so amazing.
Rooms are very nice and spacious… Lots of cool options and I really enjoyed the adult only pool. The food was very nice. The bars just okay.
I realise it is a five star hotel however I would say everything …. and I mean everything was so overpriced.
They even charged double the cost for a shuttle from the airport than what you would pay if you were to book it on your own. I just think the prices are a bit ridiculous, especially considering how much they are inflating it from the market prices. Due to this, it is doubtful I would stay there again.

Beautiful place, nice rooms, nice restaurants, Spa, Gym, swimming pool, the beach with nice waves, one of the best resort I ever been. Extraordinary Asian architecture designed, you will not hear other people, very quiet at night, gardens full of flowers and trees. The most amazing was my room I could hear the channel water running at night, so peacefully and relaxing. Well done Thai people, the best!!

The entertainment crew - Tina and Villy - were fantastic. They were enthusiastic, caring and lots of fun. Aqua aerobics followed by games at the pool gave all ages something to look forward to each day. The gym was great and the staff were wonderful. The pools, slides, jumps and lazy river were the best we have ever stayed at. Overall our stay at Centara Grand was beautiful

This Hotel looked the best in the Karon Beach area. Good service and lovely staff.
We did think rooms were looking a bit tired but we were very comfortable there. Perhaps this is to be expected in Thailand. It was our first visit there.
Swimming pool was lovely. Jet skiing on the beach was great.
Very safe to walk into town.

We loved the entire experience! The grounds are beautifully established and the rooms are furnished nicely. The staff is helpful and we especially enjoyed the team who coordinated the games/activities around the pool. The team (in the pink shirts) had fun games for all ages and were very positive and helpful for our entire trip! My kids loved the treasure hunts and fun activities they provided outside of the kids club that the resort offered.
