Exceeded my expectations! Value for Money! Great breakfast, super clean rooms and superb shower! Room was facing the road but I can barely hear any road noise! All staff are nice, lobby has a drink dispenser for guests and lastly location is perfect whether you want to go Rawai or Bang Tao direction.

This hotel is perfectly placed in a spot where closely anything you'd need as a tourist is within walking distance. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly. The breakfast is AMAZING. There are 4 pools: 1 kiddies and 3 adult pools). There is an ironing room for free use, a washing machine and dryer for a fee. There's a 7 eleven practically at your door. We stayed here for 5 nights of out holiday around Thailand. Location is perfect for what we needed. The pools were amazing, we spent most evenings just soaking in them once back from our fun filled days out. The room was absolutely perfect as we had an interlinked veranda with our friends in the next room, very nice touch. Great experience and awesome stay. Rooms are big with king size bed, sofas and balcony. A/C is super potent! Breakfast is great with plenty of options both Asian and western. They have 3 pools with lots of chairs and one pool bar. It’s a great place to relax after a busy day at the beach. Spent 3 nights here in May 2024. The location is superb, across the road from Karon Beach. The room was OK but the air-conditioning was noisy which affected my sleep. The lift stopped working 2 days in to our stay. The cleaning services were fine. The swimming pool on the roof was ok. Overall good value for the location.

We stayed a Baumancasa twice during our island hopping, started here and finished here. They were very helpful to good our large luggage. Nice sized rooms, cold AC and comfy bed. Breakfast was good, but on both occasions the staff were heavily monitoring guests to ensure they did not take anything from the breakfast area. It wasn't even permitted to refill a water bottle with water . Sheesh! ...

Just arrived for a few days break. Check-in process was smooth & felt welcoming. All staff have been very polite & helpful. A very basic hotel. BUT. Right in the middle of everything (3 live music bars within 100 meters and in the room it was quiet). 200 meter to the beach. Restaurants, left and right. If you just look for a place to sleep and want to enjoy the beach and life. Perfect!

Good small hotel. Had a problem with early breakfast, they made mistake in date, but i had seen firstly wrote it correct. Breakfast is not bad, but its long only till 9.30. An ok hotel. Stable hot water and air con, sporadic wi-fi. Suitable to sleep in, not so good to hang out. The staff is slothful and lazy almost to the point of hostility, but if you keep your tone firm, they'll follow their obligations. A positive thing is it's usually quiet here.

Very spacious and comfortable hotel. The reception is friendly and can even provide you discount on some trips. The bed very big. The air conditioning is a bit noisy but otherwise works very well. The room has sofa, safe, mini kitchen, hair dryer etc.

Everything was great, breakfast included, the sweet & sour chicken in the breakfast menu was very delicious. Near by 7 Eleven, gas station, eateries, Kata night market and stuffs.

We had a great weeks stay at Baan Karon, we especially loved meeting Gunn at the poolbar, he was our instant friend and looked after us really well, we could not have had such a great time without him there. The rooms are beautiful and cleaned very well every day. The shower was lovely and hot with plenty of pressure. The bed was comfortable and super sized. Big thumbs up to our mate Gunn 👍

It's an OK hotel with very good service. A few minutes away from Karon and Kata beaches, but not that far. You can get a taxi for cheap to get there quickly, or take the shuttles in the morning. Kata night market is a 15-minute walk away. There's some good places to eat a few metres away on foot.

My partner and I stayed here for 8 nights and loved it. Rooms were lovely, breakfast was really good but best of all was the pool bartender Gunn. He truly made the stay a great time, he was extremely friendly, very attentive and made delicious cocktails. He was always up for a chat and gave us great recommendations around the area. Very nice hotel! I spent a week here, and have no complaints. The hotel is located on the beachfront, but the two buildings extend pretty far away from the beach. Keep this in mind when booking a room - even the "beach view" rooms don't all have a view of the beach because of how the building is oriented. Nice rooms but beware of the mosquitoes specially if you're traveling with kids. Breakfast was good with fresh fruits and different type of juices, you can get good variety on egg foods. Best part was the nearby beach hardly 2 minutes walk from the room and the big Buddha view from gallery.

Nice hotel with spacious room (we took deluxe double room). It's right i front of the beach so you can just cross the road and lounge yourself on one of the beach chairs and swim in the sea if that's what you are looking for. Nice, spacious hotel right across from the beach. A bit away from the Patong area so the atmosphere is quieter. Have a pretty good cafe and massage place attached to its premises. Some of the room has great views of the hills.

Mixed bag! Cross the road to the beach, 5 minutes walk to night market, food stalls and then turn right for any number of restaurants. So great location.

The hotel is lovely, but the staff are brusque and unhelpful. Their manual in the room says they do laundry service, so we called the front desk only for her to tell is that they don't offer laundry. She says go two stores over. The people at the two stores over said the nearest laundry is 2 km away, so we went back to the hotel for another recommendation and she refused to provide further assistance...

No real complaints about this hotel. Location is about a 15 min walk from the beach and is a short 1 mile hike (albeit very steep and muddy) to the big Buddha. Big rooms, good AC. No breakfast, they reimbursed the money for it. Good pool, quiet area, lots of plants. We rented bike for 200 baht directly at hotel, they charged us 1l of fuel though the tank was visibly full. Bonus: sway the cat that was very sweet

We stayed here in the summer, from June to July for almost a month. Clean, comfortable room with a comfortable bed and sofa. Fast Wi-Fi so we were able to work remotely. Luxurious large bathroom. Comfortable kitchen on the veranda with everything you need for a long stay and cooking. The location is good, about 15 minutes walk to Kata beach, about the same to Karon beach but maybe you'll need to rent...

Always friendly and helpful staff. I've been there many times for lunch and dinner . The food is tasty and not overpriced. They have card payments, and they are always very nice to my baby, accommodating my needs. I am very happy with this restaurant and the service there.

Rested in 2017 The hotel fully meets expectations: inexpensive, clean rooms, well located relative to the center, close to the beach. The reception has Russian-speaking staff, which is a big plus. We had breakfast meals, the choice of dishes was small, but everything was tasty and in abundance. I recommend for a budget holiday.

We were in this hotel last week..we went phuket without any booking..we just walk in rattana hotel and got room 500 baht a night..they said if we want breakfast we have to pay another 150 baht :) It was really cheap hotel good value.friendly staff and nice rooms. I recommend renting a scooter, you can walk to the beach but sandals get old after 2 days of walking there and back. The best thing about this hotel is the jungle atmosphere. Other than that it's not so great. Our first day there, the wifi was down. It was repaired by the second day. The water pressure in the shower could have been better. The bed was very hard. The TV reception was terrible. It's cheap and close to lots of stuff but in my opinion there are much nicer places in Karon that aren't necessarily more expensive. We decided to move to a different hotel after a few days.

Bongalow bit old. Light in the bath took sometimes 20 attempts to go on. Pool was OK but a lot of stones are loose. Pro: it was really nice staff and clean. Restaurant is really good, too.

Recommend to stay in May House. Got a free upgrade from queen bed room to a king. The room is clean, hot water shower, free WiFi, free drinking bottle water, daily housekeeping, and easy to flag down local bus to city, as simple as cross over the road and wait. The food can order from below and they will send up to your room.
