I stayed here with my family for a week and it was super great at first! We gave our security deposit of 200$ and before we left we asked for it back. The owner had totally forgot about giving it back and he came and started yelling about how we stayed 6 hours later and that we need to pay. We had already communicated with him that we had a late flight and HE BOOKED THE CAB FOR US to leave 6 hours later and was yelling and acting very unprofessional. He kept 120$ for a 6 hour late checkout. Do not recommend.

What a lovely place to stay, the location is amazing, villas are beautiful and comfy, staff is fantastic, Andrew, the host, is the coolest guy on Karon. Spent 2 fascinating weeks at Karon Homes!

I want to share my disappointment with Karon Homes and specifically with Andrew. I contacted him via WhatsApp because I was unable to book the house I wanted for six nights through Booking.com. Due to the high rating, I trusted Andrew and did not book another type of villa through Booking.com. This happened 7-8 months before my trip to Phuket. About two months before the trip, he confirmed for the second time that everything was fine with my reservation.
However, about a week before my departure, he messaged me saying there was NO available house for me. Andrew offered me a neighboring private villa at double the price. I was traveling with two children, and he put me in a terrible situation during Phuket’s high season when everything is fully booked.
The worst thing is that I behave extremely rude and impudent. He blamed me, I didn't pay him and he confirmed the reservation twice and didn't ask for a deposit. He told me that I will pay upon check-in. In other hotels, when there is an overbook, they find an alternative for their customers and a compliment for the inconvenience. Karon homes acted very unprofessionally. Andrew deleted some of what he wrote which is idiotic.

The owner is superb and highly professional! Thank you, Andrew, for making this experience the best so far. Sorry about the ceramic pot. At least the palm tree has got a "new house".

I travel a lot and have already experienced a wide variety of accommodation. I really liked it here. The villas are spotlessly clean and superbly furnished. There is really nothing missing. Microwave, kettle, large fridge, even a hotplate, TV, air conditioning, fan and a shower. Everything worked perfectly. Nothing was broken. The bed was also very comfortable. What more could you want. The wifi is super good. Highly recommended for digital nomads.

My family of 4 flew in from Malaysia and stayed for 9 days.Very comfortable,very accomodating.Cleaners come regularly to help with linens and housekeeping.Very near to eateries and Karon beach.Easy for transport.Andrew and team was very helpful.Will be back for sure.

At Karon Homes, as the name suggests, I felt like home during my stay here. First of all, thanks to Andrew as one of the best hosts I have ever met. From the welcoming, Andrew gave all the needed information about Karon beach, to the end of my stay. Thanks to his staff as well, who does an amazing work to clean up the bungalow. Indeed, the place is very clean and we know that it is a hard work to keep it clean under tropical wheather with the combination of heat and humidity.
Besides, the bungalow is well equiped. There is everything to feel like home; of course AC or fan to "survive" in the heat, fridge, washing machine, etc. And on the top of this, the bed is very good from my perspective.
In addition, the place is very quiet for resting, while remaining central in Karon beach though.
Just 2 min walk and we get the busy Patak road with restaurants and shops. 5 min walk to the temple and its weekly big night market on Tuesday and Friday. Less than 10 min walk to the bus station and the beach.
Besides, the bungalow is well equiped. There is everything to feel like home; of course AC or fan to "survive" in the heat, fridge, washing machine, etc. And on the top of this, the bed is very good from my perspective.

Why read reviews? To find that small gem of a place that makes you feel like a local, that allows you to explore on foot, or hop a short ride to so many sights. My stay went from 3 to 5 days, as I didn't want to leave. Andrew was always available, super helpful, and gave me a short scooter ride to boot! Don't stay in a hotel...stay where it's clean and safe and allows you a truer Karon experience.

Somehow, I managed to book the wrong dates, but didn't realize this until we were checking in. Luckily, Andrew had an available bungalow for the nights we needed. One of the most helpful hosts I have met throughout all my travels. He gave us recommendations on everything we needed. The unit was impeccably clean. Location is excellent- slightly off the main road, so quiet, but walking distance to everything you need- beach, bars, massage, restaurants, grocery stores, local market. I will definitely book here if I pass this way again.

If you are looking for a inexpensive place to stay, this is it! This place has nice 1 bedroom bungalows, with a kitchen, in a small quiet Soi. You are in the heart of Karon within walking distance of stores, resturants, Temples, and the beach.
