1 star for the awful smell coming from the bathroom. I had to sleep with the windows fully opened.
Even after cleaning it, pouring strong chemicals cleaning products in it, the dead rat smell was always coming back.
That was my worst error booking that hotel for 3 nights 😭
Now, I'm sick 🤢

Good hotel for good money. Have restaurant on first floor. Near Malin plaza night market. Not so far from patong beach.👍

Convenient location. But the air conditioners drip very noisily onto the canopy under the windows. But the air conditioner was not above the bed and with the windows and curtains closed, all the sounds from the street and from the dripping air conditioners are less audible. In general, if you don't pick on anything, then you can spend the night)

Now the hotel is not a luxury place, but it has great service. The room gets cleaned daily with water. The hotel is in a quiet area and in short walking distance to the beach. Overall a great value

Absolutely dirty terrible hotel.
The main thing you should know about this hotel is that it’s owned and managed by Indians.
The first thing you see while coming into hotel is a group of Indian women who feed and lullaby their kids in a carry-cot.
When you move upstairs you are accompanied by a terrible smell of cigarettes and marijuana, oozing from literally every room and angle.
Every step of a staircase is covered with at least 3 long black hair.
While in a room, you realize that you can hardly count brown spots (and it’s not chocolate, folks) on your linen and towels. It’s a waste of time to count all of them. You’d rather go eat something.
By the way, you will have a great chance to enjoy the odors of Indian cuisine, cause on the ground floor they have enormous-size restaurant of Indian cuisine with absolutely inedible food.
The entire shower water can is covered with green rust. Despite the smell in a bathroom is that disgusting, you can take a shower for a couple of minutes and enjoy warm water, which is, surprisingly, not brown color.
I asked housemaids to change towels into clean ones, without any brown spots. Guess what?! They brought another two ones. With brown spots on each! When I asked if there are any clean towels in a hotel without any brown spots on em, they just said ‘No’ and laughed. 10 minutes later a courteous administrator brought one clean towel without any brown spots on. The only and only in the whole hotel, I suppose.
When I asked for refund, the administrator invited a chief executive to talk to me, who was speaking really arrogant and impulsive, always interrupting me and trying to prove that the hotel was ok.
Btw, the icing on a cake is that the swimming pool is in another building, yet you cannot swim in, cause there are dozens of long black hair in it and it seems not to be cleaned for a couple of months.
I high NOT recommend you to rent a room in this hotel. The price of my stay was $14 per night (which is similar to many other normal hotels nearby), yet it’s worth $3 max.

I can’t believe that someone so rude runs a business,
No on should ever go there

Wonderful small hotel, rooms have everything you need at very reasonable prices. Friendly French owner!

Extremely rude and argumentative staff. Very impolite. Not ideal for Thailand. One of the most poorly run hotels in Phuket. No acceptance of any mistakes/lapses. Staff have very poor moral ethics with a very bad point of view on money.
The hotel is falling apart and no care has been taken.
Suggest travellers to be careful with female spouses/partners travelling along.

We wanted to explore Patong and had booked 2 nights at the Eden Park Hotel. It looked great on the internet but this dream quickly fell apart upon arrival. We did not expect extreme luxury in that price range but this really beat everything. Upon arrival there was no one at the reception. After 10 minutes someone from the adjacent hotel walked up. Passport, checkout and deposit he said. I asked him to see the room first. He reluctantly took a key. I think he sensed the storm coming. After 8 staircases I was exhausted and asked where the elevator was. Not there he said. Exhausted when we arrived upstairs he opened the room and a pungent stench came towards us. The bed was falling apart. The TV was broken and unplugged, the refrigerator was rusty and the sofa was old, dirty and discarded. On the balcony there were 2 completely destroyed plastic garden chairs (no table) and the noise from the main street was unavoidable. After getting over the initial shock I opened the bathroom just before leaving. The smell that hung there was even stronger than in the room and that while the room was already really unbearable. The tap water was brown. With sunken courage in my shoes I walked down 5 floors again. My first thought was: I'm really not going to sleep here! Only downstairs in the "lobby" you have WiFi. Not in the rooms. We quickly looked for another place to stay online. To our horror, Patong was fully booked. Asking at other hotels in the area also yielded nothing. In the end we "had" to stay 1 night in the Park Eden "hotel" (I think this building should not be called a hotel). After having walked another 200 steps and having brought the backpacks upstairs (don't expect any help from the grumpy employees) we walked as quickly as possible to the 7-11 supermarket to buy extremely strong air fresheners. Even these could not change the filthy stench. All in all we left as quickly as possible in the morning. How much I regretted this booking. Believe me: we travel all around Thailand. Sleeping in so many different accommodations in different price ranges so we are really used to a lot. But be warned! DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! Look further. And do not make the same mistake as I did. I have given this review 1 star because you cannot choose lower. Otherwise I would have given a big fat 0.

Very Bad Expensive. Staffs were not cooperative. Rooms were shabby and smelly. Only good thing was the location.
