We had an amazing stay at the hotel, the location was amazing and the pools are beautiful. The stay was made extra special by Eddie - he made sure to assist, help and look after us everyday. On day 1 my daughter lost her necklace charm, Eddie was able to track it down and get it back to my daughter. He is amazing. He also helped with advice about the local area and gave us tips on day trips. If you see Eddie, make sure to say hello! We will definitely be back again.

We have just stayed at Thavorn Palm Beach Resort for 6 nights. Great location across from beach, easy taxi to Patong, convenient location to shops. The staff are all lovely especially Eddie. He always has a smile, always asking if he can assist, a great asset.
Only 4/5 for rooms due to lack of storage. Being in a family room, we had no drawers to unpack 3 suitcases so kept living out of them. Rooms were big enough to accommodate.
One restaurant under maintenance, but plenty of other options. Very yummy food.
The 3 pools and slides were great. Staff around pool very attentive.
We will be back!

We had a great stay at Thavorn, Palm Beach Resort. Good location, big spacious rooms, would have preferred to have microwave in the room but the staff were friendly and helpful, specially Wan in the pool bar area. She always greeted with a smile. Great pools with waterslides, lovely play area and different activities make it an ideal stay for families with kids. The buffet breakfast was very impressive too. Overall, a great place for a relaxing and pleasant stay.

Great spot, easy to walk down to main shopping and restaurant area. Hotel very clean, some maintenance work in progress so limited restaurants but still adequate. Gardens well maintained. Pools were fantastic. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Special mention to Wan in the restaurant, she gave excellent service and was very helpful.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Eddie and the staff did a fine job. The room we stayed in was nice, but it didn’t have the x-factor, 4/5. The service was generally excellent, but I feel as though the room cleaning service could be improved, 4/5. One day, we had to wait until 4pm or something like that to have our room cleaned. The location is great, but the main road is unfortunate due to the noisy motorbikes and the inconvenience of having to cross it to get to the beach, but generally no problem. The breakfast was excellent, 5/5. The swimming pools are excellent, and probably the highlight in my opinion, 5/5. The restaurant, coffee shop, mini petting zoo, all excellent. The children’s playroom is basic and dated, but my 14-month old seemed to love it. Overall 4/5. I would consider going back. There is a lot to like.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful gardens. Had a deluxe pool room which is spacious and caters for your every need. On arrival we were greeted by Eddie in reception. He is very courteous and helpful. We had arrived early morning after overnight flight and he invited us to use the VIP lounge for water and beverages. He helped us when we needed to go to hospital and he is happy to assist you. Staff at the pool bar very good mixing cocktails and are pleasant.

Thavorn Palm Beach Resort is a large landscaped resort with plenty to offer. The kids loved the slides and pool options and the vast gardens provided a variety of sun bed options in divided areas. The gardeners worked tirelessly each day and the grounds were always very presentable.
The rooms and buildings now looking a little dated but were still exceptionally cleaned and attended to. Great options to have rooms serviced or not and the room credit benefits from these were helpful during the stay and on rainy days.
Located between Karon and Katu on Karon beach allowed many choices for eating, shopping, walking and other activities with all in either direction. The breakfast was vast with many options for all cuisine types and culinary restrictions.
The staff are friendly, helpful and willing to assist. Eddie at concierge was a delight and offered so many helpful tips and choices for us. Nothing was ever a problem and he definitely went above what is expected of as concierge. His professionalism and willingness to make our stay the best experience is an asset to the resort.

Hotel was great, & facilities fantastic (especially for kids!)but can't check in a minute before 3pm, even if rooms are ready, which is disappointing. Thank you to Ben, our cleaner too.👍👍👍
