Cape Kudu Hotel, Koh Yao Noi

I would say it’s 4 star hotel but in a 5 star price. Hotel is close to many restaurants on the island. Decoration is beautiful. It’s peaceful yet accessible to everything. Breakfast offered various choices and tasted pretty good. Room was not as spacious as expected. It’s old but well maintained. The amenities weren’t good quality especially toilet paper. Some of the staff were confused and made mistakes which I wouldn’t experience at other 5 star hotel in Phuket e.g. dirty towels weren’t changed, cockroach on the sun bed table but staff didn’t know what to do, didn’t book island day trip for us even tho we called in advance a few weeks to reserve, didn’t ask about our departure flight time and speedboat, ordered the wrong dish for us at dinner (We are Thai and speak Thai) etc. It made us feel like we couldn’t trust or depend on the staff and have to double check every time we ask them to do something. They are friendly yet need more professional training. Some essential amenities like toothbrush and hand towel weren’t provided and we just felt too tired to call the front desk every time we discovered something was missing in our room. Given numbers of rooms in the hotel, the pool was too small and sun beds are always occupied so it’s difficult to get one for yourself. Would be nice if the hotel consider adding home fragrance so it feels more thoughtful, relaxing and luxurious. The view from the pool is very beautiful so I guess it’s the high price that you pay for.

We recently completed a five night stay and loved the place. It's just the right size resort--not too big but with every amenity one finds at a mega resort but not impersonal at all.
We travel a lot and I cannot remember a resort where the GM was always about, making sure that each guest's needs were being met properly. Antoine, the GM here, makes sure of that. I came down with an ear infection and Antoine arranged for the hotel to transport me to and from the clinic with no trouble at all. (btw, I got excellent treatment)
You will not be disappointed by booking this hotel. Just do it.

We visited this place to celebrate our 2 year old sons birthday and it was one of the best decisions we made. The experience was so good that we ended up extending our stay. The breakfast and food was delicious and never disappointed us. They have nice activities planned for their guest on alternate evenings. The location is beautiful and soothing. The staff sees to that every guest is comfortable, including the toddlers:) .I am definitely going to this beautiful property again as it touched my heart.
The bike rental place is just outside this hotel, which makes it even more convenient

Nice small resort close to several restaurants. Rooms were well appointed with nice balconies. Service was excellent. There are a few old bikes you can borrow as well. Very small fitness room.

One disappointment was the lack of vegan options for the breakfast buffet as well as some confusing food labels that labeled one thing vegan but also had lactose. Note that the cafe does have an Impossible meat vegan rice bowl but you need to make sure to order it without the egg.

A weird policy of the hotel is that only three devices per room can connect to the WiFi.

It’s our second stay at Cape Kudu and it’s always a wonderful time.
The facilities are great, the breakfast is nice. The pool is wonderful and so is the staff. Always helpful and amicable. The hotel is a little pearl in the Andaman sea and worthwhile visiting.

Great view, good location, fantastic pool and breakfast area overlooking the ocean.

Cozy and calm. We could relax on the pool deck all day! We recommend a boat trip to Hong Island.
