We are currently spending 8 nights here and are absolutely thrilled! The location is simply unique: nestled in pure nature, surrounded by soothing sounds, especially when it rains, and the voices of the animals - a paradise for anyone who wants to switch off and relax.
However, the best part is the staff: incredibly warm, courteous and always with a smile on their faces. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after - a service that is truly unrivalled.
We read some of the negative reviews beforehand but cannot confirm them at all. There was no lack of facilities, comfort or hospitality. The price for an absolutely peaceful, harmonious place in nature is a certain seclusion. You should know this in advance and then appreciate it.
Our stay so far has been flawless and absolutely marvellous!
If there are faster (ultrasonic ;-) ) flights from Germany in the future, we will certainly become regular guests.

We will never forget this stay; it was truly amazing. Our highlight was the island-hopping tour, which turned out to be an intimate and unforgettable experience as we were the only couple on the trip. Our guide, Anis, played a significant role in making this journey so special. He was an exceptional guide, offering assistance when needed while also respecting our privacy at the right moments. At no point was he intrusive, allowing us to fully enjoy the serene beauty of the islands and our time together.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at this resort. The food was exceptional and the staff were always keen to make sure we were happy and well looked after.
The resort employs 75% of their staff from the local village. Many are learning English and about the hospitality industry. It's worth keeping this in mind when interacting with the staff and to be patient.
Having said that, all staff were very friendly and keen to support and help guests wherever possible.
No children in this resort as well, so.was great for adults wanting peace and tranquillity and to enjoy the natural surrounds.

I would love to give 5 stars, but I can’t. The place is absolutely stunning – the beach is beautiful and peaceful, and the treehouse villas are gorgeous, spacious, and well-cleaned. The breakfast was excellent.
However, the service is not good (the staff, including the waiters, were very kind, always cheerful, and greeted us warmly – thank you for that. However, when looking at the bigger picture, the overall service was poor)
First of all, the hotel-arranged taxi and boat transfers are expensive, but we chose them for the convenience. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the agreed meeting point at the airport, there was no one to greet us. After two phone calls and a 30-minute wait, the driver finally arrived, but we realized we could have saved time and money by simply taking a regular taxi from the airport and using the available boats at the pier.
The hotel is located in the forest, so we expected bugs. However, we assumed the hotel would provide something like mosquito spray (as has always been the case in similar hotels we’ve stayed at), but none was available – not even for purchase. I was badly bitten by mosquitoes, which is not ideal given the significant risk of dengue fever. The next day, we had to take the hotel’s shared shuttle (about 800 baht) to go buy mosquito repellent from a store.
The food at the hotel was expensive, which wouldn’t have been an issue if the quality matched the price, but sadly, they didn’t. On one occasion, we had to wait really long time just to place a drink order, and when the food finally arrived, it was the wrong dish. The next day, the food was partially undercooked. No one apologized or offered any compensation. Even a small gesture, like a complimentary fruit dessert, could have turned a bad experience into a positive one.. :)
The seafood terrace restaurant at the neighboring hotel had better food in my opinion, although it was also expensive. If you enjoy having snacks or light meals in the evening, I recommend bringing your own, as the restaurants close at 10 PM, and no food is available until breakfast (and no stores anywhere near)
Everything at the hotel is expensive, and there are extra charges at every turn. Yet the service is lacking – for example, the previous day’s trash was still lying on the beach chairs, and no service was available there if you wanted to order a drink. In our room, a light was broken, and we had to request it be fixed six times.
To summarize, the location is breathtakingly beautiful, but the hotel seriously needs to improve its service. At this point, I’d say the location and breakfast deserve 5 stars, but everything else 3 stars

My favorite place❤️it was too hard to leave the resort, everything was just beautiful and perfect. We stayed in a vila for our honeymoon and also booked a wedding ceremony and we had a fantastic Thai experience! The level of service is absolutely fantastic. Food in the restaurants was great, there were beautiful walk routes around the resort, we also attended a yoga class with a fantastic sea view. The villa itself was so comfortable and beautiful, I didn’t want to leave it at all. I can’t recommend the place enough. The staff will make your every day special.

This place is absolutely incredibly and the 5 stars are well deserved. The rooms, amenities, attention to detail, customer service, views, activities, etc are all world-class. If I ever return to Thailand I will surely book again. Lovely place to stay, and it's highly recommended to stay here.
Special thanks to everyone who served and assisted us during our stay. Lovely staff.

Thank you all for such a lovely time and making us feel so welcome, so many names to mention however every single person we had an interaction with made stay amazing.
We ate in main Thai restaurant as the food was amazing and although the breakfast is small on variety it makes up for it in the quality.
Linda, Jacket, Arm, dear & Sandy special thanks to you all.

This place is absolutely incredibly and the 5 stars are well deserved. The rooms, amenities, attention to detail, customer service, views, activities, etc are all world class. I didn't catch the chef's name but he was incredibly welcoming and even made me a custom dish after I told him I loved the ravioli appetizers he made for Friday night cocktail hour. If I ever return to Thailand I will surely book again.

Wow… what can I say. This was a truly amazing experience.
The private boat transfer was great. We saw lots of little islands, fishermen, beaches along the way and it really made you feel that you were going somewhere special - a 5-star resort only accessible by boat!
You can either opt for a 2-storey tree house or a beach front villa. The bedrooms are identical in both. The main difference is that the lounge/private bar/pool area is either a walk downstairs or right outside your bedroom door. The beach villas pool is around 3x the size of that of the tree houses. You won’t be disappointed in either. We stayed in one of the beach villas and were lucky enough to have villa 105 which we thought had the best view and was more private as fewer guests walked by on their way to the restaurant. If you choose a villa, my recommendation would be to request 105 or 106.
The setting, location, rooms, service and food is all 5-star quality but in a kind of informal, laid back, cool shabby chic way. It’s not pretentious at all but you feel so lucky to be there and the staff make you feel really special. All the staff are so happy and friendly but also seem to always be on hand without you realising they are there. At least 75% of the staff must be born on the island which is a lovely commitment from the hotel to the local population. The service is top notch; from the turn-down service (where they leave little treats like essential oils for you to try), to room service (where they turn up with a cute hamper and set your own private table for you), to random requests (we would call to ask for a bucket of ice and some slices of lemon and they’d turn up in the golf cart less than 5 minutes later), to the restaurant where they know everything about the menu choices and ingredients (my partner has an allergy to certain types of fish which we mentioned once to a waitress on the first day… and every day onwards all staff knew about it and would make recommendations or say the chef would alter ingredients of any dish). A friend we made there mentioned he really loved squid and every night the chef would come out and offer to make a different squid dish if he’d like to try it.
We looked forward to the breakfast every day - the prepared to order menu selection was all delicious and the accompanying buffet was great. We either skipped lunch or had room service and ate by our pool. Dinner at the Roots restaurant was fantastic. We also ate at the restaurants at the sister hotel along the beach (Paradise) and whilst the menus were very similar to Roots we preferred to pay slightly more as the same dishes at Roots were far tastier. I highly recommend the Wagyu beef Massaman curry with black organic rice (probably the best I’ve ever tasted). Whilst probably considered expensive by Thai standards all dishes were only around €10 which felt really good value considering the quality and setting.
I can’t finish this review without mentioning the island wildlife. It really makes you feel like you’re on a paradise island. The butterflies floating around (we had some flowers next to our pool covered in about 30 pretty butterflies every day), the beautiful dragon flies darting over the ponds, the occasional cute gecko, the tiny sunbirds (like hummingbirds), the flying squirrels gliding between trees at night, the group of eagles soaring high up above the forest and of course the amazing family of oriental pied hornbills that would glide through the resort and perching on palm trees as they went. At night there is noise from frogs and cicadas calling to one another. We thought it was lovely and really made us feel like we were in nature. We had no problems sleeping but if you think you’ll find it hard to sleep then packing some ear plugs might be a good idea.
We had a truly amazing 4-5 nights here and were so sad to leave. I highly recommend it - you won’t regret it!

Beautiful villas that provide a unique experience. Usually you just use your room to visit the destination, but here the villa itself is the highlight. Those that want to partake in activities are accommodated well, but the general vibe is chill out and do nothing. Food and drink prices are really reasonable (considering a remote resort) and good quality. Service is consistently top notch. My massage in the spa was great, the sounds of nature adding to the experience and I could tell the skill difference from the low cost massages I’ve had in Bangkok. The beach isn’t very nice and the villas don’t offer much privacy - but everything else is so special that these become non issues. Highly recommend for a 3-5 nights as a romantic getaway.
