Paradise KohYao - SHA Extra Plus Hotel

Magnificent! We were so happy to discover this gem! All the staff were so friendly and professional and clearly knew exactly what they were doing. And it is clear that the manager is very involved and takes alot of care and pride. We stayed for 7 nights and sampled quite alot of the menu, and everything was perfectly cooked. Also the main restaurant was very fairly priced. Tge rooms were very well kept, and eventhough the villas are close together, there is excellent privacy with heavily tinted windows. The bay is beautiful and calm, with a nice long shallow shelf for snorkeling/swimming at high tide and an interesting place to explore at low tide. Thanks for a very memorable week in Paradise!

We stayed here for 8 nights in August. Our stay at Paradise KohYao exceeded our expectations. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded to include a plunge pool, the room itself was spacious and the garden/sea views were stunning. We really enjoyed the food and drink options (recommend the mango sticky rice!). The resort itself is tucked away in its own bay which was what appealed to us. There are plenty of activities to do at the resort (kayak, paddle boarding, badminton, volleyball etc) however it’s also the most ideal place to relax and unwind. The resort included small touches such as the welcome drink on arrival, turn down service at night and live entertainment which impressed us. We also got engaged during our stay at Paradise KohYao so this place will always be memorable to us.
We will most definitely be back!

An excellent 3 nights stay. All the staff are so welcoming and helpful but a special shout out Oz that gave us so much information about the local wildlife. We had originally only booked 2 nights ( arriving with just a rucksack from Patong) but the area and the whole resort is 'Paradise' and they kindly extended our stay no problem. A real gem and an area that will stay in our hearts for ever. Thank you so much!

Absolutely great place to travel if you are coeliac/gluten free. The resort restaurant was very accommodating and were able to adjust most dishes for gluten free. Felt very safe eating there.

The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous and very helpful/friendly staff. A perfect romantic getaway, we stayed in the poolside villa and feel it was very much worth the cost.

We absolutely loved our stay here. All the hotel staff went above and beyond, the food at the restaurants on site was great and everything was extremely well kept and presented. The room itself was beautiful with a stunning view. You are really immersed amongst nature at this resort. The only challenging aspect was accessing the resort via a dirt road which got very muddy and slippery after rain, but it is possible to get wharf transfer for an extra cost.

Idyllic resort, the most relaxing place to stay. The weather is extremely hot at all times so you will be going from pool to ocean all day. The breakfast buffet was incredible. Views are spectacular. Lots of activities to participate in. All staff were helpful and kind. Room service, laundry service and turn down service was wonderful. They made my friend’s birthday dinner very special. Overall a truly wonderful stay.

Fantastic food at the resort, and also got some great recommendations for other places to eat on the island. The bbq hot pot for dinner was an excellent choice.

Spa services were amazing and a great price.

Anise gave us an excellent elephants tour.

We also had a great thai cooking class with Aeed and she even brought us some sticky rice from town to take home with us, and offered lemongrass from her garden.

Our honeymoon stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable! The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Everyone was very friendly and the service amazing.

The accommodation itself was next level. We were delighted to receive an upgrade, and they made our honeymoon feel extra special with a "Happy Honeymoon" message beautifully arranged on the bed, along with a bottle of champagne and a fruit basket waiting for us.

The dining experience was also a highlight, with a great variety of delicious food to choose from each day. We never lacked options, and each meal was a treat.

The spa was a highlight of our stay as well. The treatments were fairly priced and provided a wonderfully relaxing and tranquil experience. The spa staff were well-trained and professional, ensuring that each session felt luxurious and rejuvenating. It was the perfect way to unwind during our honeymoon.

All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Let me first say that if you are looking to be off the grid but still relatively close to civilization, Paradise Hotel is the perfect location for you!

Before booking, ask yourself, do you truly want to be secluded or do you want to be close to amenities etc.

They offer transportation to the small town which does have a 7/11 if need be, but again, there may be a cost associated with it.

If you are truly looking for seclusion and a relaxing vacation, Paradise provides just that.

They have the nicest, and friendliest staff. Also, there are tons of activities you can do!!! The activity centre as something for everyone.

The breakfast is phenomenal, lots of options and was probably the best breakfast I had at any hotel.

The atmosphere is amazing and I highly recommend staying here :)

The highlight of our Thailand trip! Amazing location, beautiful rooms. Food was incredible and super fresh. Island hopping tour was also amazing. Kayaking from the beach was a lot of fun and the yoga session was also brilliant.

The only negative I had was that the guide was feeding the fish on the island hopping tour, this is something the staff should be trained not to do as it is not good for the environment.
