Very nice hotel. Very nice staff! But nobody really has any information about the hotel's surroundings. When we arrived we were told that the hotel was in a national park. But nobody knows what contribution the hotel has to the preservation of the local nature. There are also palm oil plantations everywhere in front of the hotel.
And in the hotel itself they always serve San Pellegrino water imported from Italy! I expect more responsibility and education from Ritz Carlton. Unfortunately, all this leaves my visit with a very bad aftertaste.

My husband and I had an amazing time spending a few days at Phulay Bay! Our room and the property were stunning, with traditional Thai architectural elements. Our butler Mon was phenomenal! She was very responsive, kind and caring, making sure our stay was perfect. We did an afternoon trip to Hong Island and the team arranged a very well organized outing. Overall exceptional experience, thank you!

We truly had an unforgettable experience from the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and well taken care of. Their attention to detail was exceptional. The property is stunning and very well taken care of. The tropical gardens, pool and views are out of this world.
What really made our stay special was the extraordinary and personal service. The staff were genuine, friendly and kind especially Sabia who was sweet, kind and treated us with care. The GM, Mr Sager was exceptional and he made lasting impression by allowing my daughter to sing at the welcoming reception and went out of his way to make her feel special. Every staff member was warm, friendly and genuinely committed to ensure a nice experience for every guest. We had beautiful memories that will last with us for a lifetime.

We stay at beachfront villa, room is a bit torn out though nothing critical we expect slightly better at this price range.
Service was great, attend to detail and very helpful in whatever they possibly can.
Breakfast was a bit disappointed, selection wasn’t that good compared to its peers, but taste was great. If they add a couple of more interesting dishes, would be awesome.
Cocktails at the bar was great. I’m a cocktail lover person, so their cocktails were meeting the expectation (which is very unlikely for many hotels) yet the service was so-so, I hope they could be more friendlier, attend to customers’s detail slightly more.

It's been almost a year since our last visit and I can still remember how much we enjoyed our stay. We went there for babymoon when I was 6 month pregnant. Our butler (thank you so much Jake) and every other staff we met have been extremely nice and helpful. They made special food arrangements for me. And we felt being taken great care of and enjoyed every hour of our stay.
They also have wonderful selections of food throughout the day. I had the BEST Pad Thai ever at the poolside restaurant. Breakfast buffet is also very healthy and tasty. I would recommend trying every item on the chef's special menu.
There are so many other noteworthy details that I wish I could share. But to wrap up, totally recommended. You won't regret it.

Choose a villa on Royal Beach, you won't be disappointed. Lots of fun activities and a great spa. Our next stay is already booked!!

Phulay Bay is an INCREDIBLE place to stay. The staff are amazing, the food (especially the breakfast) is amazing, the rooms are incredibly grand and the grounds are breathtaking. Despite all the low star reviews over the past year + with a pandemic case... are you kidding me? Of course, everything was chaotic. There were problems with shipping and supply all over the world. Expecting perfection during a pandemic is unreasonable.
