Marina Villa in Lamai Beach

Amazing spot in Lamai - hotel is on the beach and has 2 swimming pool. Room is more than spacious; balcony is where you can chill and dry your clothes; aircon is the best! You get access to everything in his location (7-11, atm, marts, shops, restaurants, bars, etc.)

Great location within town and beach front access. Has a few pools and a beach Cafe.

A comfortable bed, a beautiful view from the third floor where we stayed. A small downside is the low water pressure, which makes showering take a bit longer. A pleasant stay with two stunning pools right on the beach. I recommend it!

The location is really nice, as it's right on the beach. The room is basic but good size. Unless you stay in the bungalows, noise from bars on street can be heard till really late (after 3 am).

Central area with practically everything around, if you don't sleep well with music this is not your hotel but if you like to party this is your hotel since you are surrounded by partying at night on the beach side and on the central street side, the hotel is located right on the beach depending on the room you choose the middle area would be best.
Normal pool but right on the beach next to the hotel bar with decent prices.

Location: short walk to lots of bars/restaurants but just out of the way so you cant hear any noise. 30 seconds to the beach but be aware there are those annoying Europeans who leave towels on chairs but hardly use them. The beach is clean here. Take mosquito spray in the evening.

I was given an upgrade to the B block - if you book a room in C block you will be closest to the road so may hear noise there. I was about half way between the road and the beach and couldn't hear any road noise at all, but the rooms have thin walls so you will hear other guests if they stay up late talking loudly.

Service was very good - room cleaned every day, bottled water etc all topped up daily. Motorbike rental just 250 baht a day, no deposit so book through reception for a much easier and safer booking experience. Very efficient and friendly staff.

The room is a good size and yes a little old but totally acceptable for me - i am not particularly fussy if I feel i am getting what i pay for and this hotel felt like excellent value for money, i'm happy i stayed there and would book again.

Ask for instructions on the safe as none are provides (press the reset button inside the back of the door, enter your new 4 digit pin followed by #).

Get the wifi password from reception as it isn't provided in the room.

*IMPORTANT*
Some renovation work is going on now (from 20th Dec) - a few rooms being renovated on B block so there could be noise between 9 or 10am to 6pm, check before you book!

Nice hotel to stay. The infinity pool just near the beach. The room so big & have wide balcony.

Location perfect 2 minutes to the beach, rooms a bit dated, quiet despite the proximity to Bangla, breakfast well there is the same thing every day, we will be back

The hotel is very well located, in the center of all entertainment, there are many cafes nearby. The beach is good, deep enough for swimming (low tides are not noticeable), the beach is cleaned, there are sun loungers from the hotel. (Of course, the mattresses on the sun loungers should be changed). We took a deluxe room, the room is clean, they clean every day, change the bed linen, towels. The hotel territory is well-kept, the hotel staff cleans up every morning.
