The hotel is situated on the Eastern coast of the island, on top of a hill with a magnificent view of the Andaman sea. Coral reefs protect the Bay from underwater currents. The beach, with a characteristic ebb and flow. Recommend for quiet couples and families with children.

Location: 46 km from airport, 36 km from the centre of Patong beach, in the South-Eastern part of Phuket island at Cape Panwa, on a low hill, on the first line from the sea.
Consists of four - and five-story buildings and six single storey Bungalow and one detached Villa.
Total area: 51 200 m2.
Beach: own sandy beach, 100 m from the hotel, near the corals, the first coastal line. Pronounced tides. Umbrellas, chairs, towels – free of charge.

Had a massage at Cape Spa - the Siamese Touch. It was excellent! It was nothing like I have experienced before. The staff are very kind, very approachable and considerate of your needs. Will come here again!

If you are looking for peace and quiet with easy access to Phuket and Patong then this is the place.
The staff are 5 star. Very good quality of service and everyone is trying their hardest to make your stay as good as it can get. The events are themed evenings are well planned and the shuttle to the village is great.
The beach, the only private one in Panwa, is amazing. White sand and palm trees great you with ample sun-beds and chairs.
We spent two hours by the pool but two weeks on the beach. The bar is great with nice lunch options. The funicular was much appreciated in the heat.
Breakfast is very good with plenty of variety.
Yes some of the wings with rooms need to TLC but the room we stayed in was great.
Cape Panwa Hotel convinced me to visit the area again, Thailand again and we will be booking this hotel.

The staff was amazing, super friendly and couldn’t have been more welcoming. The massage we had was the full body siamese touch massage and it was the best! Very relaxing hour of my life! Would definitely recommend.

The hotel has all the right ingredients; fantastic private beach, lush gardens with palm trees and fantastic views from sea-view rooms. The implementation is not there however. Our room was laid out really well, but was a bit tired and in need of refurbishment. The long balcony and view made up for this though. The all-inclusive option of one drink a day is stingy in this day and age. The cost of drinks and even water meant a trip to the shops every couple of days to stock up on water and beer/wine. We could only use one restaurant for our breakfast and lunch which became repetitive very quickly. I would like to call out Maggie from Customer Relations, as she was really helpful! Communication within the hotel was quite bad. We never knew what was happening or when. The mini train down to the beach was undergoing repairs and the spa was being refurbished (we had our included massage in a converted hotel room). We missed out on happy hours due to conflicting signs and our anniversary dinner booking was overwritten with a private function. I'd say our trip was average, and I wish we'd gone somewhere else for our 10-year wedding anniversary.

My family and I had a great time here, staying in the Absolute suite, which is away from the main hotel and felt more like a home than a hotel room. I can appreciate other reviews on unremarkable service and being away from any of the tourist centre activities - some staff try, with limited English, to help, some don't think about service levels at all. We enjoyed being in this quiet area and private family-friendly beach with golden sand and clear waters and never felt isolated as we used the grab app to get around. We loved the suite so much that we will definitely keep this on the radar for a revisit!

Everything about this hotel is much, much better than the website shows. It has beautiful rooms, incredible food options, stunning views, plentiful facilities, wonderful staff, shuttle services to town, and anything else you might want.

Whilst the overall appearance outside is a bit dated, the rooms were stunning and modern, we had a huge suite with balcony and ocean view. The staff were lovely, respectful and very helpful. Our rooms were cleaned every day without hassle. There is plenty of choice for food options with three on site restaurants and a couple bars as well. The pool and beach are amazing to relax with a book and drink and swim. The only thing is location wise it’s a bit far from some things but not impossible to get to by taxi or Uber. There is a free shuttle to take you to the town as well which runs every fifteen min. Loved our stay here and would come back again.

Staff were friendly and room service was very good. The hotel looks a little tired, older equipment which would have been excellent 15 years ago but dated now. The pool is great. And beautiful bedrooms are comfortable, the AC was excellent. However, cheap shower and bathroom products diminishes the experience. Take your own products. There is no lift and steep stairs to bedrooms which were testing in this especially hot season (mid April 2024). The coolest place in fact the only public space that is air conditioned is Otters Bar, we enjoyed the fresh coconut juice and cocktails a lot!

The resort itself is really beautiful with its private beach, super tropical vibe feeling. The staff in general are a bit arrogant and unmotivated. The housekeeping is lovely. The room itself is really tiring, especially the bathroom. The living room is great. The service is okay. The first 2 days we didn't enjoy our stay here due to many issues but the problems got fixed later on which made things better. The breakfast was great, the bed was comfortable. The only thing we didn't like was only the bathroom and most staff except the housekeepers were lovely. 7/10

It is a dated hotel. Not modern anymore, not that clean what i expert it to be. The beach is ok and the views also nice if you are in a room situated at the beachside. Westcoast seems to be better.
