Ibiza House Phi Phi

Upon arriving staff were pleasant and took our cases to the room which we appreciated as there was no lift. We noticed that there was litter and dead insects on the stairs which remained for the duration of our 5 night stay.

Upon entering the room the view was stunning put thats the only upside. The room looks like it hasn't been updated since the hotel was built, the door to the balcony didnt open without us discovering we needed to use a spoon to move the latch up! Unfortunately we couldn't enjoy the balcony as there are pigeons nesting in the roof so there was bird droppings all over the balcony, furniture and railing. This was present for the duration of our stay and had not been cleaned during housekeeping so we requested for this to be done however due to the birds, the next day it was covered again.

There was nowhere to dry your clothes other than hang over balcony furniture which again was no good as covered in bird droppings.

The shower preasure and temperature fluctuated throughout use. The shower head could not be repositioned which meant you had to stand in one corner of the shower to receive some of the spray and this was frustrating for my wife to wash her hair etc.

The pool bar area needs to be decontaminatec as cleanliness was lacking.

The sun beds are very dated and the pool towels only cover 3/4 of them.

The breakfast was not to our taste and although there is a good selection of fruit, it isn't covered which attracted flies and there is mushrooms growing out of the walls in the dining area.

Our first family holiday to Thailand, and were very disappointed that we chose this hotel. Wouid not return and would not recommendl

If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with modern design, clean facilities, and proper resort-style service, Cabana Hotel on Phi Phi Island may not be the right choice.

Unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The rooms are outdated, with decor that looks like it’s from the 1960s — and not in a charming, retro way. The bathroom was especially unpleasant: dirty, worn down, and clearly neglected. The curtains in the room didn’t close properly, and the floor hadn’t been cleaned well. The only functional and seemingly new item was the air conditioning unit.

The WiFi is only available in shared areas, which is highly inconvenient. Reception staff is friendly but still lacking the hospitality one would expect from a hotel in a tourist-heavy destination. I was even called at 10:50 AM to check out, despite the official check-out time being 11:00 AM — not exactly a graceful exit.

The breakfast area was shocking — dirty, with poor hygiene standards. It was one of the least pleasant parts of the stay.

While the location is great and the view from the pool is beautiful, the surroundings are sadly neglected. The beach in front of the hotel is not maintained, and the pool area is surrounded by old chairs and general untidiness. No pool towels are provided in the room — you have to ask separately.

The overall condition of the building is poor — old, worn, and in serious need of renovation and deep cleaning.

In short, this hotel relies heavily on its prime location, but delivers very little in terms of quality, comfort, or hospitality. I would not recommend it unless you’re prioritizing location over all else and have very low expectations for the rest.

If you want to book this hotel just for the pool and its view then do it. But the money is not worth at all! There are many other hotels nearby.
Where do i even begin with this hotel! I have stayed im many hotel and if i could say a worst hotel which was jot worth at all then this would be the one! Only and only good thing about this hotel is the pool area and hence why they emphasise more on so we book this hotel. For the price of the hotel this hotel is not worth it at all! There are many other hotels with cheaper price, more services and same view!
The rooms were very outdated, and lot and lots of mosquitoes. Staff legit dont care about you at all. I called multiple times for mosquitoes and all they do is come and use the mosquito spary in the room and go but mosquitoes and insects are still there. Bed is uncomfortable, they have the oldest light and furniture. And the bed moves and makes woody squeaky sound so very disturbing at night time.
Bathroom is very old designed and has rusted all over.
They do not provide food or beverages around pool area after 5:30pm so you are basically left with swim or watch the view thats it.
We did breakfast included and my god the staff dont care whether you are eating or need some help, they will be on the side near kitchen eating, chatting, laughing. And as soon as it 9:45 they star packing up food without even informing guests that its gonna close in 15mins (10am)
Breakfast seemed old and not fresh at all. 9:50 food has all disappeared. They clear it as if they fear guests will eat it. And as soon as 10am, the staff starts eating those food they did not care if the guests are still there.
If this hotel was much much cheaper i would have said okay we get what we paid for but if we are paying a hefty amount i will expect a service.

We had reservation for beginning of the March. When we have arrived there we were told that the hotel is full and there are no rooms for us despite the booking we made online. After that emplyee in the lobby tried to convince us that there's a hotel nearby that has rooms for us but for higher price and he will be more than happy to take us there right after we cancel our booking.. Clearly a shady place and I highly recommend not to go there if you value your time and your nerves.
