The rooms are really dirty with ants, cockroaches, spiders and other kinds of insects. The bed was very uncomfortable, with a very stiff mattress and not even a sheet to cover yourself. Many many broken things in the room, as the bathroom door with many holes and bathroom itself with holes filled with toilet paper. No warm water or a fridge.
The staff is not friendly or helpful.
On the positive side, the location is stunning. It’s immersed in the jungle and it’s so peaceful. Tonsai beach is at 3 mins walking and the vibe is incredible.

This place is simply amazing. The bungalows are showing their age, the rooms closer to the pool look newer. The surrounding area makes this place paradise!!! The locals from Ton Sai make you feel welcome and loved with their kindness. Super chill spot and a climbers heaven. We had gibbon monkey's and oriental hornbills hanging out on our front porch each day!!! The power is off daily from 9/10am to 5pm daily but the wi-fi is on all day and you can charge your phone in the hotel lobby during the day if needed.

We were really afraid because I saw bad reviews. But I have to say that for us it was amazing.
Yes it is true, rooms are really easy, but it dipends on how much you paid. They have also nice and luxury rooms bud we travelled low cost so we decided went for lowest priced room. We paid for bungalow with ventilator only and it was enought for us.
Yes there are mosquitoes, but they are in every place not only in accomodation.
The water was only cold, it was a little problem, but in hot weather you will survive :D
The worst for me were big spiders in all resort but only outside. But you are in jungle so it is normal...
You can see monkeys there and the place has nice atmosphere.
The pool was excelent and I can recommend it.

The hotel needs a refresh. The airco is loud (controller shows fan speed settings but there is no noticable difference in sound), swimming pool has green water, ...
But the bed and shower are fine, rooms are big and breakfast is good.

Located in beach little accessible and where you can not bathe. Get sick by the food of the restaurant.

We only stayed there one night but their staff tracked down my phone and wallet that I left at another bungalow later on and mailed it to me, free of charge. Great people.

I had high hopes, but this place was and continues to be a nightmare. Stay away. Got the bait and switch instantly. Paid for a bungalow but got a regular room. The shower head leaked everywhere. Including into the electric water heater. Not a hazard at all. And the obvious electricity part. Manageable but would have been nice to know at booking. Not many people stop in this cove so getting a ride in or out can be expensive or a long wait for more riders. It's just not worth the extra stress to stay here. Or the money.
My main issue with them is that they have stolen $300 from me. Now admittedly I forgot it when I checked out. There are no safes in the room and I hid it and forgot it. I contacted them and they said they found it. Even sent me pictures. I figured it was a gonner so I was excited and happy when I heard from them. Now they ignore my messages. It has been 6 months so I tried not to jump to conclusions on this. But beware. Finders keepers at this place

They clean my room where i am staying here for three weeks . One more week , as I plan on extending my holiday. The staffs smile all the time, accommodate inquiries, and they give reasonable price as season changes. The buffet was great, but they close on low season. They still have a la carts. It is a clean place worth the extra sum. The staff are honest and helpful. They inform the situation of the electricity and water shifts as all ton sai has a unique electric arrangement. It is quiet by the garden area and cooler at night. I appreciate the calm environment after long days of climbing.

Loved this place! Tonsai is beautiful in the extreme and Dream Valley Resort fits perfectly into the valley. The pool is great and just like the photos. The staff are friendly and super helpful. Railay Beach is a short walk thru the jungle and the track is easy to find. It’s clear that Covid has affected the local shops and restaurants. And yea the rooms are basic with electricity limited at times. But there’s real magic in this place and it’s not hard to find.

Great value for what tonsai has to offer the pool is always a plus and many restaurants and bar nearby but the rooms are still super quiet would go back and recommend
