Please note that you cannot access this resort unless by boat or able bodied and can hike through a steep walkway to access Tonsai Beach. Another note is that during May to September the resort shuts off the power during certain hours of the day. Came for a couple days of climbing and it was amazing. The staff are super nice and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Great getaway! It was the off season (June) and it felt like we had the place to ourselves.

We have stayed here on and off for at least 20 years. It has gone more upmarket over the years and expanded substantially. A good place for a quiet getaway from the chaos of places like Phuket. My wife is a keen rock climber and there are plenty of choices of challenging climbs, and local guides to make sure you are in safe hands.

Had ants in my bed, they changed my room immediatly though. But all in all overpriced for the room you get. The location is beautiful, but secluded. So more chill, you can only go there by boat. To railway beach you have to get on a small hiking path. I think there are better places to stay at, for the same price.

I was however very dissappointed in the fact that my booking was incorrectly when arriving at the Cha da resort and the fact that I have to pay quite a significant amount extra to get the 1 room upgraded. Nice and kind English speaking staff, well equiped and clean room, pool that was in center of area, right next to it bar where you could order drinks or food. Went rock climbing for half a day with King Climbers at Railay Beach. Was super fun, well organised and as someone who has not climbed outdoors before, felt well supported to do the climb with seasoned instructors guiding us up along the route.

We only had food here- 120 bhat full breakfast with coffee. Was okay but won’t be coming back. Staff didn’t seem to care about anything and food was just edible, the free coffee wasn’t good and my partner had the orange juice which tasted like water. This a great value room, even during high season. Yes its a bit dated, no safe or TV in room, a little dark in the room. BUT it's located at one of the nicest places in all of Thailand. The hotel staff were friendly let me state that first and foremost but the cleanliness of the place was not up to part. Very peaceful location set just back from the busy main street. We were bed and breakfast. The room was spacious and well equipped. It was restocked with water, really and coffee every day. Great stay in pool villa! This is an amazing resort on Railay east. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The pool villa was amazing value for money. I loved my stay at Bhu Nga Thani, the room were beautiful and the bathroom’s enormous. The location made the resort a wonderful place to relief your stress.

The hotel was great ans the staff absolutely awesome. Very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is the best in Railay. Tony the manager runs a very good shop with a lot af variety and good prices. Try a booking for the set menu. It is out of this world.....

We loved our stay at this resort. Staff are very helpful and the location is fantastic. Dinner at their Thai restaurant was one of the best meals we had. Car parking is very limited. We would stay here again and probably will. Stand at the entrance can help you with any boat/island trips you want to book. We found price good and very well run trip

We've just stayed one night in a suite over looking the pool. The room was vast making up to bathrooms 2 tv's and a great view of the pool. Second 2 nights in the more basic rooms which are more basic but clean and tidy. The staff have all been great, location is fantastic, nice pool. Booked a deluxe room with two single beds. Very spacious with a balcony overlooking the huge pool and partial sea view. Everything was clean and functioned properly with no issues. The staff are all very polite and helpful. You can walk to the main road easily and be right in the middle of all the food and shopping. Trips and transportation can be arranged through the hotel. The resort is nice and well maintained, near the main street of Ao Nang, in a quiet area, just across the beach. Rooms are clean and very spacious, the staff does its job, outside areas are well maintained. The only minuses worth mentioning are: - old and noisy air conditioning devices, that can only be controlled from a wall panel (a remote would be convenient, allowing to control them from bed, instead...

The house keeping was decent but as others have commented this place needs a desperate remodel. Breakfast was on and location is great, but if your planning on doing anything on the wifi here, forget it. It gets overloaded with staff and tourist use and it's nonexistent. Room was full of bugs from ants, to mosquitoes to flies.

Good pool, ocean across a mostly pedestrian road, beach is sandy and good for walking and swimming. Hotel is in need of major update but acceptable. Extremely hard bed. Bring your own sponge. Staff gives good service. Area is very busy and not great if you need to park a car. Bring a flash light as room is very dark. Chinese celebration had free oranges in the room. Breakfast not good.

I really liked this place. Located in the middle of Relay Beach, the staff is very friendly and definitely more professional than in many other restaurants in Relay. The food is good, they have a big menu with offer a big variety of dishes: local and western. All very nice. I also recommend the desserts. For me it has always been hard to find good western desserts is Asia, so an extra point to this...

Great hotel in the middle of the "jungle". Actually great experience in the middle of trees, birds, frogs, etc. Pros: In from of the best side of the island. Good rooms, clean and with a good space. The jacuzzi suite is spacious and comfortable. The 2 pools are nice, and the location is superb on Railay beach west. The walking street is literally 10 meters away. The whole place is filled with lush green plants and flowers, which really adds to the atmosphere. Cons: WiFi signal is poor, and lots of mosquitoes.

This resort is quiet. Has a great pool. Close to the walking street. Great resort to use as a base for nice walks. Very central for day visits to the closer islands
