Larissa Samed resort

Probably the best place to stay in Koh Samet Saikaew Beach area. Only 1 minute walk from Saikaew beach or 5 minute walk from main food-pub-shopping street. Quiet and natural. When you need, hotel staff transfer you to taxi point by their motobikes. Hotel has it's own private small beach though no facilities there. Housecleaning is everyday, all staff are friendly, honest and a big smile on their faces. In my bungalow, wifi was not strong but enough to communicate. In the reception you can buy your drinks. I would stay there again if i ever go back.

Lovely place…. Just 25 rooms in a very quiet, tucked away location just metres from a private beach with a nice decking area with chairs and benches. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Motorbikes for rent and a 2 minute walk to the main beach with its bars and restaurants. Would definitely go back here and we’ve stayed at many different places on the island.

Perfect holiday location directly on the beach with wonderful sunrise views. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Nice cosy area. If you are looking for direct lookout to the main beach and beach restaurants then this is not for you.

It is very near to the beach front, less than 3 mins and it's right at the end of it. Nice quiet location. Great place for sunrise view, and has a little beach area of it's own corner, considered private.

The staff is nice, polite and amazing. We met a night of thunderstorm and they clean up the porch early in the morning.

Daily cleaning of rooms is from 8am to 13 noon and check out is at 11.30am. Check in 2pm but we were able to check in at our arrival 12ish pm.

The room is clean, simple and well kept.

Comes with dispenser of shampoo and body shower, bath and beach towels. No shoes inside the rooms. There's hair dryer and drying rack. There's coffee and tea bags, and water boiler. Good air conditioning and TV. There is also a beach bag for you to use for your stay, very thoughtful.

A surely return place and recommend for anyone seeking for near beach minus the noise and buzz.

Beautiful place to relax on Koh Samed. Rooms are specious and we'll furnished with everything you need, staff is very friendly with good english. Surrounded by nature, perfect to spend some lazy days in fantastic environment. The only minus for us was the general location of the resort. It's very close to "city" (what's actually a good point) but the beach near is the biggest, most crowded and unfortunately the dirtiest one there. You should take a taxi and go explore if you want to relax in paradise. To sum up, we loved our stay in this idyllic garden, we just chose another beaches :)

This quiet corner of the island is the ideal spot for a family holiday. Unlike the main beach, the little private beach 🏖️ of the resort is covered in shade. The big trees makes swimming for kids possible all day.
There’s a large reef right outside the resort which is great for kayaking and snorkelling. Loads of fish and a big diversity.
The rooms were spotless and the staff didn’t stop smiling while trying to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
The AC was brand new and wasa equipped with a proper night-mode. The shower wasn’t the strongest but had consistent hot water.
Overall a 5 star from me in all categories, especially as there is everything in walking distance. The town, the main beach, all other resorts and restaurants.
We’ll be back!!!

This place is a good mix of being close to the main beach and shopping/restaurants area, but you can retire to your own more seclusive beach to have some more peace (i.e. avoiding party/drinking area) to read a book or so. There is sand and rocks on the Larissa "beach", but not sharp coral rocks, I personally like it because you can do snorkeling and look at the sealife, but not all would probably like the rocks. Friendly staff!

Stunning spot. Clean, comfortable and peaceful with charming landscaping and a tranquil private beach, while being a short walk from the main Haad Sai Kaew beach. Kun Koi is very helpful and speaks great English.
