Reviews
Let’s start from the beginning—because sadly, that was already the highlight.
Check-in experience? Picture two women at the front desk who looked like smiling would cost them part of their salary. I’m not here to make friends, but hey, a bit of hospitality wouldn’t kill anyone. We arrived at 12:40 PM and asked nicely if we could check in a bit early—answer? A dry, robotic “NO.” No explanation, no warmth, just rejection. Fine, we thought—let’s grab lunch at their restaurant. Ten minutes passed, and not a soul in sight. Not to greet, not to take an order, not even to ask if we were alive. I had to stand up and go hunt down a menu myself. If that’s not a red flag, I don’t know what is.
Menu? Local food at Bangkok luxury prices. And of course, absolutely zero English spoken—which would be fine, except they advertise to international guests.
The room? We booked second row for privacy—big mistake. It’s basically a glass box surrounded by other bungalows. Full 360-degree exposure unless you keep the curtains closed 24/7. So yes, prepare to live like a vampire.
Hot water? Cute concept. Sadly, nonexistent. The water heater looked like it was imported directly from a museum of forgotten technology. And let’s not forget the welcoming party of mosquitoes waiting inside. I mean, they didn’t even charge us extra for the insect roommates, so… thanks?
Cleanliness? A generous 6/10.
Information at check-in? None. Zilch. Nada. No idea what to do, where to go, or even how the place works. It’s like they assumed we downloaded their internal manual via telepathy.
Staff energy? Imagine joy was illegal, and they were doing everything to avoid being caught smiling.
Breakfast? Don’t even get me started. I asked for juice—apparently the bar opens at 11 AM, and until then, you’re on your own. I offered to pay. Still got a rude “No. Bar open 11.” Vibes were more “go away” than “good morning.”
Breakfast at 9:25? Already empty. Bread with ants—how thoughtful. Eggs served with the same deadpan expression as a traffic cone. Honestly, I’ve had better vibes at street carts in Bangkok for 30 baht.
Impressing a trainee from Myanmar, was so helpful and even speak very well English, he made for us a juice, he give us direction on all our questions and even humble guy! Only this make our morning. Good job to this guy which I don’t remember the name:
Check-out? We left bags at the reception and went for a walk. Thank god we got back early—because our luggage didn’t make it to the boat. Reception had no idea where it was. Shocking? Not anymore.
Overall? If you enjoy feeling like an unwanted guest, this is your paradise.
Final tip: If anyone from management reads this (unlikely), please start by changing your staff’s attitude. Smiles are free, and a bit of effort could go a long way. Until then, please stop advertising on Western websites. We expect a minimum standard. This wasn’t it.
However it's really disappointing and irritating to meet an unfriendly staff at the lobby. Poor service skills and definitely not the Thai way to greet guests. Hotel needs to seriously consider changing the front office manager. All the other staff are great except for one dinner where I had given them food to warm (food for my kids) and they served it to another guests! And I can speak Thai! Absolutely ridiculous. Shall return provided front office goes through a hospitality course.
Value for money..
had a great 2 night stay
