Royalisa Palmiye Beach Hotel Adult Only

The room is far too dark, in the evening you can’t see anything – maybe that’s better though, since it hides the dirt and the poorly cleaned rooms. Every day we find long black hairs, even though she is blonde, which means the cleaning staff must be using the same cloth for all rooms. The towels are only changed every three days, not daily.

We have stayed at this hotel before in 2015 and 2023, but we have to say it keeps getting worse. The neighboring hotel is louder every year, now it’s mainly locals and Turkish guests partying there. The breakfast has declined dramatically as well: before the renovation there was more variety and choice, including nuts and different kinds of bread, but now there’s only one type of bread and no nuts at all.

All in all, we would not return. The free sunbeds, which used to be the main reason for choosing this hotel, are now located at the beach where a single beer costs 250 Lira, and by 8:30 a.m. you already find people reserving the front rows of sunbeds. Honestly, that’s not worth anything anymore.

A pity, because the hotel once had potential for so much more.

**Terrible experience – only good thing is the location**

The hotel's location is excellent – right on the beach and close to everything. Unfortunately, that’s the only good thing about it.

The room I got looked nothing like the photos online. It was extremely small – so small that we had to place our suitcases on the bed because there was no other space. Every night we had to move them to the floor just to sleep. I raised this issue with the staff on the first day, but no one seemed to care. Every time I asked, they told me to “come back tomorrow” until I gave up.

The room was also very dirty. Housekeeping was awful – they only emptied the trash and changed the towels, nothing else.
The room was also extremely noisy. There was loud music outside everyday until 12:00 which made it almost impossible to rest.
Even though there were towels in the room, they *forced* us to rent separate towels to use at the beach. We weren’t allowed to use the ones from the room, which made no sense.

Breakfast was very poor, with very limited options and low quality.

I honestly wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Besides the beachfront location, everything else was a huge disappointment. Not even worth one star.

We were 4 people traveling so we booked 2 rooms. Me and my friend paid more money and got a smaller room them our friends did. It was claustrophobic so we asked to change rooms. The receptionist told us that all rooms were fully booked for the month. However the next day an other receptionist was working and he fixed us another room right away. Very strange… I ordered nachos from the hotels resturant. When I pointed out that it was cold and tasteless, the server went to talk to the chef about it but nothing happened after that. No compensation. I feel really disappointed having paid money for this. Location is nice and central.

I was in this hotel from 31.05 to 02.06.All you need to know about this hotel. It is run by thieves! My vacation ended with the fact that I had my gold chain and ring stolen from my suitcase from the room with a total value of more than 2000 dollars. The hotel management categorically refuses to assist, ignores letters to the mail and phone calls. I highly do not recommend this hotel if you do not want to be left without money and jewelry.
