Ayhan Hotel

I personally will not give them even one star for service or room! We booked three rooms with this hotel for 2 nights (luckily) as we only had a short stop in antalya before heading back home. There were 8 of us, one room was a double, and the other two triple beds. Check in was at 2pm and we got there just after 2pm - two of the rooms were ready and the third room we were told wasn't ready due to a late checkout and if we were happy to wait 15 minutes. Obviously, we were very tired from the journey and wanted to freshen up before we left to make the most of the time we had there. They did offer us drinks if we wanted to wait, but we decided to go up to one of the rooms out of the two we got keys for and was told we would receive a phone call once done. We called 2.40pm as we hadn't called back and was told to wait another 15 minutes at this point we said we had already waited. The receptionist said she would find out. We waited until 3pm and ended by going down by then it was almost ready. I found the staff to be very very rude and didn't smile at all. The manager would mutter something when we would go past. We asked what facilities for spa there was and were rudely told they didn't have a spa (though they did previously have one (see photo). The room smelt like damp. The bedsheets had stains on them. And the breakfast was horrible- we went up first day- the only thing that appealed was the waffles and they were extremely dry. The juice provided for the breakfast were in drink dispenser and the drink were very warm- I did in fact throw up by the little pancake I did have.
Two out of the three safes were broken- we didn't complain as didn't want our stay to be awkward even more. And the Air con were not great though luckily our rooms didn't have direct sunlight coming through.
The only good thing I would say about this hotel was that the normal water bottle was complimentary, and the rest of the can of drinks were a reasonable price of 50 liras.
The location was good, too. A 3 minute walk from the marina.

Our experience at the hotel wasn’t great, to be honest. We felt that the price we paid didn’t match the level of service we received. The room was uncomfortably hot, and the air conditioning unit was too small for the room size. Despite setting the AC temperature to 17 degrees, there was no noticeable cooling. We complained three times, but they assured us that everything was functioning properly. Eventually, they provided us with a fan, but we had expected better amenities for the price. Additionally, they overcharged us for a water bottle (20 lira for a 500 ml bottle) as we were thirsty due to the heat and sweating inside the room.

Location is great at its closeby to the old city, public transport, etc. But i would not recommend this hotel as its overpriced for the services you get.
