Akkan Beach Hotel

I have stayed in many hotels and this is one of the most dirty and dark rooms I have ever experienced. The bathroom was the worst I have ever seen, with so much black mould. On top of that, the price was even the same as for a good 4* hotel, which it is in no way close to.

This hotel has an amazing location and a lovely pool out front. The main building, which contains some of the rooms, looks like it might have better rooms than the one we were given. With more care and attention, this could be an amazing hotel, but unfortunately it is not and we would never stay there again.

I also wonder if some people are rating this hotel highly as they are confusing it with another hotel not far away also called Akkan. I have never seen a hotel so inaccurately represented by it's good ratings online than this one.

WORST PLACE EVER. The entrance is nice but anything else is DISGUSTING. The pillows smells like trash and the rooms are soo small barely two beds can fit and their is stains everywhere. On the walls beds sofa wall floor 😭. The food is so bad I had stomach aches after eating. I don’t recommend u coming here!!!!

Booked 2 nights at the family room but we had to check out the next day as the room was smelly and as shown in the photos the room was dirty. Also, the hotel would not refund us for our second night. We have had a very nice stay in Türkiye but it was sad to see them not live up to the image of Turkish hospitality.

Rundown hotel in a nice location at the beach. The room is old and dirty! Upon our arrival, no electricity, no water and no wifi! We waited for 5 hours in the dark and finally gave up and looked for another hotel at 10pm at night. Just as well as we will not have been happy staying there

Very disapointed, the description states there is parking and wifi available. Hotel has no parking, there is street parking if you find a place, wifi doesn't work. We were told by the staff that there was a fault and they are working to fix it. It never worked. The shower doesn't work and bathroom doesnt have a window and ventilator wasn't working. It rained on the first night and the room was flodded. Aircon very old and dust all over it. The front of the hotel and pool area look nice which is very deceiving because the hotel itself is old and neglected. There is no elevator and our room was on the third floor.
Overall very dissappinted and do not recommend this hotel.
