Cave Hotel Saksagan

This hotel is very good value, not expensive, clean, and beautifully decorated. The atmosphere is relaxing and makes me want to come back again. The location is great, easy to travel around and find food. The staff take good care of guests and are all very friendly.

My family and I stayed in a family quadruple room at this hotel for three days, and it was an experience we won’t forget—for all the right reasons. The **location** was unbeatable: nestled in the heart of Cappadocia, it was within **walking distance to everything**, from historic sites to charming local restaurants.

The staff, however, truly made this stay extraordinary. A special shoutout to the receptionist, Eda, who went above and beyond when I fell ill just before arriving in Cappadocia. She arrange for a doctor to visit the hotel on a Saturday within an hour. Thanks to her kindness and professionalism, I was back on my feet quickly and could fully enjoy the rest of our trip.

This hotel isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a haven of warmth and care. Ideal for families and travelers who value compassionate service alongside convenience. I’ll recommend it to everyone visiting Cappadocia and would return in a heartbeat!

A true cave hotel with Dreamy rooms perfect for a romantic holiday ( we stayed in the one with the jacuzzi and it was awesome !). The receptionist Hatice is a wonderful person who has helped us above and beyond, selflessly, with the entirety of our travel inside Cappadocia and also helped us with Hot air balloon rebookings when ours got cancelled.

You can also find car and bike bookings, day trips etc from here at a best price!
They also offer complimentary breakfast that is a buffet having a plethora of delicious items !

The city centre is walkable (250m) from here with access to restaurants, atms, operators etc.

A beautiful and pleasant place. The staff is attentive and smiling. Great breakfast, close to everything but without annoying noise.

It is conveniently located on the main road. The room is clean and tidy. However, on the second night of stay, the water is running out for a short while but it is quickly fixed.

Nice hotel; they clean and bring new towels every day. Didn't find any cons. Also nice staff and convenient location ✨

I made a reservation individually and stayed with my family for 3 nights.

Before staying, I checked how to make a reservation for a balloon tour. We were originally planning to ride the balloon on the 3rd day, but the hotel contacted us and said that it would be better to ride on the 2nd day because the weather was going to get worse, so we immediately booked a balloon tour and were able to ride the balloon safely the next day. As advised, the balloon did not fly even once during our stay, and with the appropriate advice from the hotel, our children were delighted and it was a lifelong memory.

The hotel is located in the center of Goreme, and it is a very convenient place where you can walk to restaurants, ATMs, supermarkets, and anything you want to go anywhere in a few minutes. If you stretch your legs a little, you can walk to Goreme Panorama and Goreme National Park.

The bread at the hotel breakfast was very delicious and we ate original sandwiches with various kinds of cheese.

My children were able to eat it for 3 days without getting bored.

It was a wonderful hotel that I would like to go again.

Very charming yet affordable hotel in Goreme! Room was very clean and comfy, check in was very speedy, and the most important is... WiFi is very fast!

And kudos to the concierge, I was requesting advance breakfast as I am departing Goreme in 8am, they were prepare me some breakfast box without any charge. Definitely will come back here!

Really liked my stay here! The hotel location is quite near many shops and restaurants. There is also a nearby bus interchange and is very accessible as it is near the main road.

The rooms are very spacious and cosy. It was really a nice experience to be there. Never knew staying in a 'Cave' can be so good.

The hotel itself is also a beauty. It has a lot of places for grams! The outdoor patio is an alluring place to be at at the right timing. mor so in the mornings where there are many hot air balloons flying around or even above you!

They staff are also very friendly. Always available when you need a hand. The restaurant also deserves a mention. They serve really good breakfast. Plenty of good choice of food and delicious.

Would likely return to stay if I have the chance! try it!

I had the most pleasurable stay here.

All hotel staff were most helpful and friendly, especially Eda with information on airport transfers before I arrived and throughout my stay with tour, massage, hamman bookings - she was wonderful!

I loved the hotel too and very glad only the deluxe room was available when I booked.

It was worth spending a little extra for a king size room with king size bed, king size bathroom with
spa.
The bed was most comfortable and best was the room being in the cave - the mushroom part with half metre thick walls, it was well insulated. I didn't have to use the heating system once even when outside temperatures plunged to -5C!

Then breakfast daily included with the room was a big spread of turkish food, a number if dips homemade by the hotel owners mother!

Totally recommend this hotel!
