Erenbey Cave Hotel

We stayed in the family suite for 4 nights and it was perfect for our family of 3. The room was spacious, breakfast was home cooked and delicious and the owners were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed spending time with the resident cat as well! The location was great and walkable to the centre of town. The icing on the cake was waking up at around sunrise to see the hot air balloons on the roof terrace.

It’s fun staying in a cave. But even more than that it is nice staying at a family owned hotel where you feel a sense of familiarity coming and going every day. Also it’s a great location to wake up in the morning and watch the balloons on the rooftop terrace. The breakfast is home made food with plenty of side dishes to fill up before the day begins. I should mention too that the cat (who we named Snow) was great at protecting our hotel from other wayward cats 😅

Plus the best restaurants we went to were nearby eren bey - so you don’t even have to go far for a great experience.

We stayed for 2 nights in the King Cave Suite, which was an absolutely incredible experience! The room is huge, the bed is extremely comfortable, the cave design is amazing, we had air conditioning, we had a view of the fairy chimneys from our room, and we had a private terrace. The crown jewel of the room is the large, jetted tub in the bathroom that has a spectacular view of the balloons flying over the valley during sunrise. It was truly magical to be able to watch the balloons from the comfort of a bubble bath with a perfect view. The balloons were flying right over the room so close that I could hear when the pilot ignited the flame of the balloon from the bath tub.

The staff also appointed the room with a complimentary bottle of wine, a bowl of fruit, coffee/tea, toiletries, and had slippers/robes to use during the stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful in so many ways, including setting up an airport transfer and answering our many cappadocia questions. They also provided an incredibly rich, plentiful, and flavorful breakfast.

There was plenty of nice places to sit on the terrace for balloon viewing, eating breakfast, or just taking in the view of the many fairy chimneys encapsulating the property. We loved that the king cave suite allowed us to have our own private terrace for relaxing after a day of activities in Göreme.

I can highly recommend this hotel, and would stay again if ever back in cappadocia! Book the king cave sweet for a once in a lifetime, romantic, and luxurious Cappadocia balloon viewing experience!

Staff very helpful,when I emailed a question they were quick with the response. They sorted out ballon ride and transfers. Rooms very clean, comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious. There’s nothing to dislike. I would definitely recommend staying here.

5 stars for sure. great location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious rooms and great breakfast. it also has adeck for boloon watching, and it is very well located.

Definitely a cave room with a good location that was very close to the city center. The facilities were clean and breakfast was good. The staff was helpful and friendly. There are better places to see the sunrise balloons. The only thing I didn’t like is they went into / cleaned our room and didn’t even provide an option to not request this service.

Amazing rooms and beautiful place. Two disappointments were.... First that we wanted a room with a view but it was essentially basement. Second.... there are some patches of damp and mould in the rooms

If you want to have a new experience of staying in a hotel, you should come here. Our room was in a real cave, comfy with minimal design. Staff were friendly and helpful we really enjoyed staying there. Also the price was good.

We absolutely loved it here! The location was perfect for us- close to everything, yet on a quiet street so we could sleep at night. We were just a minute’s walk from the big church and all the restaurants. The pool area was nice to relax in and the ladies were helpful in arranging rides when needed. We couldn’t have had a better stay. The cats were also a fun part of our stay- they were friendly and constantly around to keep us company.
