Taskonak Hotel

I had the chance to do a bridal photo session at Taskonak Hotel and really loved it. The building has so much charm with its stone details and cozy corners, which made the photos feel authentic and unique. Its a place that instantly inspires creativity, and I'd be happy to return with my camera anytime.

One of the best experiences great hospitality the location is amazing. The staff are kind and helpful makes us feel very welcome. The room is very cozy full facilities just perfect. The view is spectacular and magical, highly recommend this to everyone. The breakfast is great a lot of choices and delicious. All 100/100 just love it all

This hotel is genuinely underrated — often overlooked in favor of the pricier, Instagram-famous spots — yet it offers some of the most breathtaking views in Cappadocia. Watching the balloons rise at dawn and the sun wash over the off-white cave buildings in the morning light. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and comfortable, perfectly blending authenticity with modern convenience. The hosts are exceptionally warm and attentive — they went out of their way to make everything effortless. They helped me arrange transport, book tours, all at prices far more reasonable than what I found on major travel platforms like Viator. The food was fresh and delicious, and every request was handled promptly with genuine hospitality. I’ve shared photos I personally took of the hotel and its stunning views — if you’re planning a trip to Cappadocia, don’t overlook this hidden gem. It captures the true essence of the region without the noise or inflated prices.

The service was excellent, the front desk was welcoming, the view from the hotel rooftop was great, the room was large, the accommodation experience was great, and the location was good, it was very convenient to walk anywhere in the town. It was a pity that I didn't have breakfast during my two nights stay.

I cannot rate our stay highly enough, we had the most magical time here. The hotel is stunning, with a wonderful selection of traditional cave and stone rooms. The views from both the breakfast terrace and rooftop took our breath away each and every day. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming giving it such a homely feel. Particularly Ange the owner being from Australia made communication and arranging tours etc a breeze. Her warm and bubbly personality was delightful and infectious. Shout out to her husband Yilmaz and his great restaurant Fat Boys for amazing food. If you're looking for a true Goreme experience start here!

Wonderful Stay at Taskonak Cave Hotel – Feels Like Home!

I absolutely loved my stay at Taskonak Cave Hotel-an authentic cave hotel in the heart of Göreme. I will definitely come back again. The hotel is so beautiful with a stunning panoramic view of Göreme. The terrace is spacious and lovely, perfect for enjoying the scenery—especially during sunrise with hot air balloons in the sky.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the stay feel like being part of a family. Everyone was very helpful and had a strong service mindset. Plus, they speak English very well, which made communication easy.

My room was big, clean, and fully equipped—smart TV with Netflix, air-conditioner, hairdryer, etc. The only small downside is that the room is not very soundproof, so I could hear people walking and talking early in the morning when they went for hot air balloon tours. But overall, it didn’t bother me much.

As someone who’s used to eating rice meals, the traditional Turkish breakfast wasn’t quite my usual style—but it was still very enjoyable! There were lots of fresh vegetables, and I loved that you could order fried or scrambled eggs as well. They also served Turkish-style pancake (like crispy fried dough) which was very delicious! The breakfast room and terrace were amazing places to sit, drink coffee, enjoy the view, and just relax. There are many cozy spots to chill throughout the day.

Another great bonus is that the hotel owners also run a restaurant called Fat Boy, which offers 10% off for hotel guests. It’s a nice place to grab a good meal after a long day of exploring Göreme.
Also, the hotel is located just a 5-minute walk from Göreme town center, so it’s very convenient for shopping, dining, or booking tours.
I highly recommend this hotel. There are many beautiful places to stay in Göreme, but this one truly stands out for its warm hospitality and excellent service. It’s definitely one of the top service-minded hotels in the area.

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are very clean and beautiful, and the view from the roof top is absolutely fantastic.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. I especially want to thank the front desk staff, especially Angela. I had many questions about things I didn't understand before my stay at the hotel, but she was all answered quickly and politely, which made me feel very comfortable going into the trip. I have stayed in many hotels this time, but this is the only hotel that gave me such a great service. I was really happy. Thank you very much. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Goreme.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel has breathtaking views and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It seems like a small, family-run business—and you can tell they truly put their heart into everything they do.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. On our first morning, the weather was bad and our hot air balloon ride got canceled. It was hard to find an available spot, but one of the staff kindly helped us reschedule—it meant so much to us!

Breakfast was another highlight. Every morning, a lovely lady prepared and cooked everything fresh, just like at home. You can really feel the care in every detail. Highly recommend this place for anyone who values warm hospitality and a genuine, heartfelt experience!

We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon from Japan. This is by far my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at!
The room was built like a cave, like a hideaway, and the romantic orange lighting created a wonderful atmosphere. We stayed in room 4, and the bathtub was spacious and comfortable.
It's on top of a hill in Goreme, so the view from the terrace is amazing! You can see balloons flying in the sky in the morning, and the jewel-like night view at night.
The breakfast on the terrace was delicious, and the menu changed slightly every day, so we enjoyed it even if we stayed multiple nights. Please try the freshly baked omelette.
And above all, the staff members Emre and Osman were really kind, and not only told us about tourist spots, but also always took care of various things to make our stay comfortable. (It was also helpful that we were able to use the shower next to the reception before getting on the late-night bus.)
When we left, we were so sad to leave.
I definitely want to stay at Taskonak Hotel again!
