La Blanche Island Bodrum Hotel

We had the most amazing stay at Blanche Island, Turkey! The staff were fantastic – so attentive and friendly throughout. The Teppanyaki restaurant was a real highlight – delicious food, super entertaining, and the chef was brilliant with the kids! We also paid the small extra fee (€10 per adult, €5 per child) for the à la carte restaurants, which was absolutely worth it. The Italian restaurant was incredible, with amazing sharing starters and excellent service from our waiter Oguzhan. We also rented a cabana by the water – peaceful, beautifully set up, and a perfect private escape with great service all day. Blanche Island is pure luxury in an idyllic setting. Already planning our return!

Our stay at La Blanche Island Bodrum was absolutely exceptional, and we can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing holiday experience. From the very beginning, it was clear that customer service is truly top-notch – the staff are not only friendly and helpful but also incredibly attentive and committed. They respond quickly and efficiently to any requests, always with a smile and a professional attitude. We truly felt well taken care of, and many matters could be easily arranged thanks to the hotel’s flexible and guest-focused approach. The cuisine is another major highlight – diverse, fresh, and full of flavor. Each day, guests can enjoy a wide range of Mediterranean and European dishes, with an impressive selection of freshly prepared seafood. No matter your taste, there is always something delicious to try. The hotel’s location is simply stunning – the views of the bay and the sea are breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. It’s one of those places where nature and comfort blend perfectly. There are also plenty of water activities and entertainment options available, making it a great place even for the most active guests. We especially recommend renting one of the private pavilions (bungalows) by the pier – it’s a fantastic way to enjoy an entire day of relaxation with direct sea access, personalized service, and peace and quiet away from the main pool areas. To sum up, La Blanche Island is the kind of hotel you’ll want to return to. It’s ideal for both couples and families with children. Beautiful views, amazing food, exceptional service, and a wealth of attractions – all of this comes together to create a truly luxurious and memorable vacation. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, everything has been absolutely wonderful. The welcome was warm and sincere, and the reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved the hotel’s outdoor areas the sea, the location, and the view are simply perfect. All the staff members we encountered were cheerful, approachable, and always willing to help. We dined at the hotel’s Far East à la carte restaurant, Sakura, and we were truly impressed by the food, the service, and the atmosphere. We highly recommend it. We felt genuinely well taken care of throughout our stay and enjoyed every moment of the service provided. I would also like to express my gratitude to Operation manager Erdem, Restaurant managers Umut and Vural for their assistance with any questions and arrangements. So from my side it’s a big thank you to everyone for making our experience so pleasant!!!

We stayed at La Blanche Island, Block A, between 16–26 July and had a fantastic holiday. The rooms were large, clean, and very comfortable . We tried two of the à la carte restaurants – the Italian and Sakura and both were excellent. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. What really made our holiday special was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. I want to say a big thank you to some of the team who truly stood out and made a difference every single day: • Mehtap at the front desk was always kind and welcoming. • İsmail, who looked after our room, was hardworking and always smiling – our room was spotless and comfortable thanks to him. • Seher at the main restaurant was always lovely and looked after us so well. • The Lobby Bar team – Jiyan, Gamze, Yunus, and Sezim – were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. • Cemre at the Coffee Bus always served us with a smile and great coffee too! • And thank you to everyone at Pina 24 – such a kind and hardworking team. The sea, beach, and sunbed areas were perfect. The only part of the hotel that we felt could be improved was the animation team Overall, we had a really lovely time and came home with great memories. Thank you to all the amazing staff who made our stay so enjoyable. We hope to return again soon!

So we've been back about a week from our 7 night stay at this resort, and to sum it up briefly, Yes we would go back, but as a couple, not as a family. Read on to find out about our experience at this hotel and resort but please bear in mind, this is our opinions from what we have experienced ourselves. We are a family of 4 with 2 kids aged 11 and 13 and we travelled here in May 2025 half term. Lovely and close to Milas Bodrum airport with the transfer being a maximum 20 minutes. Overall, we found it to be very clean, staff very friendly, lots of top name drinks on offer, plenty of choice for food, good pools (although very cold), and in an absolutely amazing position... the views of the surrounding hills and forests is mind blowing. The Entertainment in the show centre was excellent every night, although we didn't go to the kids one as ours are a bit too old for that now. We had a 2 bedroom family room which again was brilliant with plenty of space for the 4 of us. Calling it 2 bedroom is a bit of a stretch as the kids "room" is actually a walk through from the entrance door, so more of an enlarged hallway, but still nice that they had their own area away from us :-) We didn't use the Cabana's or on site water sports so can't comment on pricing or what it was like. I'll try and list the rest as good points and bad points to try and keep the reading to a minimum for you all.... Good Points: Good Selection of food at all times, and mostly different every night. Lots of salad bits and huge dessert section. What was brilliant to see, was a separate area for Gluten free foods, and vegetarian food, away from the main buffet area. This i thought was a particularly good idea. Several A La Carte restaurants with 1 free visit on a 7 night stay. We opted for the Turkish restaurant and all felt it was a lovely meal, but we wouldn't pay to visit again if that makes sense. The others on offer are an Italian, Oriental, and a Greek/Fish place on the beach. Get booked in as soon as you can with guest relations though as the bookings do go quickly. 2 bedroom room absolutely perfect size for a family of 4 with the mini bar stocked up daily FOC. 2 Nice big pools, and a good sized area for the little ones. Pool depth is 1.4m in both the big pools so our 11 year old couldn't touch the floor, and the kids pool was full of babies, so not ideal for him. 13 year old was fine. Plunge pool is 1.2m for the water slides. Fridges and nescafe coffee machines dotted around everywhere for you to help yourself. The coffee machines do run out of the larger cups quickly though. Andy from the Spa is a really nice bloke, and doesn't pressure you into purchasing any more than you want to. I'm sure we had the Bronze package which was Sauna and Turkish bath for the 4 of us, then my wife and I had a 60 minute massage each and the kids got chocolate face masks. I read with total amazement some Bad reviews of this Hotel, this was my 3rd Visit in 2 years, this time we booked for 11 days, Lots of changes had been made, new Staff employed etc, very clearly for the better. I spent time with the New Operations Manager and discussed the changes and the vision going forward. I was greeted as a returning guest by the extremely professional team of Guest Relation Managers headed up by Nida and Mrs. Ozge, The whole culture of this resort to include attention to detail have been improved remarkably, The New Ops Manager, F&B Manager, GRM Team and Restaurant FOH Managers need congratulating for the outstanding efforts and changes that have been made, the food service, offering etc have all been improved. I had the most wonderful 11 days at this fabulous resort, I will hopefully be booking my 4th Holiday there, later in the year, please all do yourselves a favour and ignore the negative reviews. Its a superb resort, I have 100% confidence in all of the teams here making this resort even better in the future. I cannot wait to come back and see you all again. Karl.,

We've just been to la blanche island for a week as a first holiday with our 8 month old I was a bit nervous due to the reviews but I honestly don't know what people are moaning about The place is spotless, the staff are ridiculously friendly even to the point of remembering our daughters name, there's so many choices of snack bars and places to sit and enjoy yourself depending on your mood i.e. beach bars, beach restaurant, pools, terrace bar, lobby - all of which have their own feel You can always get sun beds, there's always something to do The food was good, and if you didn't fancy something in the restaurant you've got snack bars or 24 hour food places It's not the place to go if you like going into towns and exploring I would think but there's not much else you'd need that isn't on the island The sea is gorgeous, the pools are clean, the rooms are nice If I had one bad comment it would be waiting for the lifts as that was annoying and it would be good to have an alternative, like easy access stairs but that's literally my only down thought and that wasn't even that bad If you've booked to go and you're worrying, please don't. It's the best holiday we've had!
