Reviews
Food is ok, never hot. Fairly large selection but seems to be the same dishes pretty much every day., Staff struggle to understand allergies and I’m not quite sure what the point of the dietician was as what she informed was no problem was then a problem all week. I wouldn’t select this hotel if you have a food allergy, you will end up unwell as staff have zero understanding. Checked before booking and was assured allergies were no issue. Spent all week feeling a nuisance.
Room was lovely with a sea view. The location is very pretty and plenty of places to relax and sun bathe. Starbucks is a nice addition but has limited opening hours. Transfers were smooth, plenty of day trips if you fancy. Evening entertainment if you want to join.
A shame as this hotel could be amazing if the management stepped up their game, wouldn’t return to be honest as there are better hotels for the price.
Briefly:
-Tired miserable staff especially on the pool bars , no service what so ever, grumpy, very bad cocktails , very cheap alcohol for all inclusive.
- Very bad culinary execution for dishes in the Italian & Seafood restaurant low quality food. Average food in the Turkish restaurant.
- Great guest relations “ Annie”, Great service in Turkish restaurant by “ Bilal & Esraa”.
- Reception polite and helpful
The staff in the hotel are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you, service was excellent.
Food was lovley and always something different each day, desserts were out of this world 🌎, food in the snack bars dotted around the resort were fantastic.
The hotel was very clean and hygienic,
rooms and bedding, towels changed/cleaned every day, mini fridge filled up every day.
Beach towels are provided every day, clean towels always available.
Pools and pool areas are spotless, always maintained, and cleaned throughout the day, guys on roller blades serving you drinks and ice lolly's.
The views are absolutely out of this world.
Would recommend this hotel and would definitely be re visiting.
There was a long list of things that made this holiday one to remember for all the wrong reasons which is shame as it's the 4 time I've been to Turkey and by far the worst time.
This hotel is advertised as having a water park with seven slides. At no point during our 11 night stay were all the slides working, at most there were four, one day there was none! It fluctuated day to day when we asked what the issue was we were told it was a technical problem, I can see reviews on here from months ago where the slides weren't working, I believe it to be a staffing issue as there simply weren't enough lifeguard and as it was half term it was very busy.
Guest relations (other than one helpful woman) were apathetic bordering on rude. They did not want to help.
The bar staff were rude, shouting at us to queue up as if we were children in a lunch hall and then serving people who just rocked up in front of us. I dared to ask for 4 drinks and at the end of the order asked for an extra beer as they were small so to save going back. The barman slammed down the glass in his hand and said you said 4 drinks now 5 and just glared at me.
Our children enjoyed going to Starbucks in the evening for juices and milkshakes and were told after a few days that they were no longer allowed to have the drink they'd been having for days. They changed their mind when an adult went up.
The spa staff were pushy and rude, commenting on how I looked. Telling me I look pale and terrible is not going to make me buy anything. We had to be very forceful with them and say no.
One evening we had ants in our drinks including the children's juices
Another day we watched them hose the steps outside the pool with what smelt like sewage and then was washed into the sea where we had been swimming.
There was so many incidents that really soured the holiday. And it's the most expensive holiday we've ever taken especially as it was in the school holidays.
The plus points were the beach and the A La carte evenings were lovely, great food and wonderful service but we only had one for their for an 11 night stay, we asked for the other as compensation for everything that has gone wrong and reluctantly they gave it.
I wouldn't recommend this place, Jet 2 really needs to send their rep in to look at the place properly.
Rooms - Need updating but fine, you only need to sleep there. We had an air conditioning issue and an issue with the safe first day. Fixed with minimal issues
Location - Without doubt my most favourite part. Stunning backdrop of sea and mountains with Amphibious planes taking off, helicopters, incredible sunsets. The beaches are clean and sea water is crystal clear
Pools - Great, slides are a lot of fun and my 2.5 year old loved the kids pool. Slides are well - maintained and would keep kids (and me )entertained hours
Food - Cannot complain at all. Not the best breakfast for a Brit who wants a bacon bap, but loads of other food choices. The evening meal was amazing - especially the grilling area outside. The pool bar menu wasn't great quality, however the Mexican place, the beach pizza snack bar were epic. Both incredible actually.
Drinks - Can't complain, I'm not a massive lager fan so would have liked IPA on tap but that's being ultra fussy
ECO - Obviously with food wastage likely at all-inclusive (there wasn't that much!). I'm pretty appalled but the amount of plastic in use everywhere. Plastic cups, straws in wrapping with every single drink, plastic cutlery. The butter doesn't need to be in plastic packages either any more. The mini plastic bottles of water..... the last goes on...! The towels and bedsheets are eco friendly with the washing, but I can't help but think the amount of needless plastic used everywhere. I'm not exactly a just stop oil activist, but they're not even trying - except three separate bins dotted around which the guests ignore.
Smoking - I was on level 3, every time we went to our room it stunk of smoke. Loads of smokers outside when you're eating too. Reminds me of the dark ages.
To be fair, I would recommend this hotel to anyone for the value, I cannot complain at all. However, I'm hoping that a 4 star review will prompt them to be more responsible with their waste.
Food was good, beer was cold and the sun was shining !
Pools were cold but to be expected.
Only points to improve would be to have proper cocktails, especially those that should be slush type cocktails like daiquiris etc
