Hotel Club Phellos

The springs in the beds of the hotel rooms are worn out and poke into your back while sleeping, and the pillows are old and thin. The white towels have turned black and don’t smell clean. The reception and staff show little interest, and their manner is rude. When you convey your complaints to the hotel, I didn’t see a problem-solving approach. The hotel’s location is central and the price is reasonable, but there are other boutique hotels nearby with similar prices.

Very basic
Not 3* but I'd say 1.5.
For basic the least I expect is clean but this isn't clean and staff don't really care if you show or tell them - mould stains in shower; previous occupants rubbish under bed (receipts; cotton make up pads).
Corridors are dark and dingy and there are no fans or AC in common lobby areas (there was one which was swiftly removed).
Beds are hard.

Saving graces - pool is ok (tho slide dysfunctional for years) and breakfast is bearable.

Beautiful views from the common areas, pool and outdoor eating areas, however the experience at the hotel was below average. The hotel is old and could do with some maintenance, the mattress was very old and deformed and the bedside outlets did not both work. Important to mention that during our stay (which was only one night), there was no wifi access in the rooms which is something I haven’t experienced in many years. The room also had a very strong cigarette smell for the entire stay.
