Rooms where nice, asked for room upgrade and was charged £200 gbp and then my friends also upgraded their room to next door and were only charged £100 when questioned reception about this they told me it was just the price system and wouldn’t really give a good explanation. Staff are friendly but can be rude and will not go out of their way to help, I tried to take a empty bowl to the room for my son to make him noodles as he is a fussy eater and was told I am not allowed and if I want a bowl I must go and purchase one myself out of a shop! The staff on the island are much more friendly than the staff in the hotel I would say. It was raining for 2 days while we was there and everything was shut, from the slides to the food stands. Finally on the day of checkout I left my trainers and jacket on the balcony to dry due to it raining the day before and when I went to retrieve my items they had gone. I informed reception and asked if the maid had moved them or placed them into lost property and they couldn’t care less as I was checking out that day they simply said they have no time to check as they have other things to do. The drinks are not very nice I understand sometimes you can pay to get the better alcohols but it was €8 for a single Smirnoff vodka. There are only 4 lifts to the top floor and 2 were broken for the full 10 days I stayed. The food for tea is appalling everyday. Would highly recommended to stay away from this hotel and if you do stay make sure to lock everything away as they will take what they can out of the rooms. Would definitely chose another hotel. Please please don’t make the same mistake I did.

The walls are very thin so bring your earplugs. My room is cleaned several times in the 8 days I've been there and not once is my bed changed, toilet cleaned or shower cleaned. Also the internet is bad everywhere. The hotel is great for children with the slides but can be very hectic with all the children around. For adults that go alone to relax it's not a good place to escape the noise. It's also 2 hours away from the airport and not much to do around. But also good things like it is a great place for children, you can eat alot of different food.

NOT MY WORST HOLIDAY BUT ITS CLOSE!!!!. My 13 year old son and I are currently still here and personally I'm regretting booking 10 nights. Every night so far, and it's all through the night, there are constant dragging of tables/chairs on hard floors and banging from neighbouring rooms. which wakes us up several times per night. We asked to be moved in the hope it would change but the room they offered us was at the farthest point away from everything and faced the street shops and fairground which played loud music until early hours so defeated the object so ended up staying in the original 1st floor apartment with a lovely view of 5 large air conditioning units!!. The food is not the best, very basic and repetitive so after 5 days it got quite boring. The main buffet hall is an uncontrollable chaotic mess, its far too small for the amount of guests there are who rudely barge passed or show no manners in order to get to the food 1st. The pool is just as chaotic with loungers 3 deep with little room to walk inbetween rows. If you want to ensure a lounger you must set an alarm for 07:30 because even though it states all loungers reserved before 08:00 with towels etc will be removed and that's not the case so by 09:30 you will struggle to find spare ones. All inclusive is not all inclusive as the drinks you would get anywhere else on all inclusive deals you HAVE to pay for here and to be honest even if they were free I would still be disappointed with the quality. The eftalia island is ok with shops, kids amusements/slides etc and the few food places are of a better standard than the on site places, for example burgerland is absolutely awful!!!. Some staff in the on site shops are rude to the point on one occasion I decided to shop somewhere else as she didn't deserve my custom. I could quite easily carry on but I think I've made my point.
