From September 17 2024, I have reviewed all of the comments that have been left for this hotel and I can say not impressed sooo week from this date they have one chance to change and if not simply will downgrade the hotel and remove it from some of the platforms that it might been on (on the beach and more)
Don’t mean any harm just want to give ppl the right appearance

The great nature and beautiful sea makes good expression about trip. Hotel condition 3/5. And was weird why waiter mamed Michael Jackson (by himself) annoys tourists directly in last day of the trip. Hotel owners should make discussion with disgusted, unbred man. One bad apple ruins the bunch.

This hotel is one of the worst hotels I have stayed. I was dumbfounded that such awful hospitality can be offered to members of the public. A few points to share:
* 99.5% cannot communicate in basic English language. Hand gestures and sign Language had to be used to make a point
* Most of the hotel facilities and amenities are faulty. Most of the rooms does NOT have light in the ceiling.
* In my 4 days stay at the hotel, 95% of the food that was served during my stay was repeated and sometimes is cold.
* The Wi-Fi NEVER worked all through my stay; I was forced to spend extra £30 to buy a Turkish Sim Card so I can keep in tough with family and friends from the UK
There are lots more bad aspects about the hotel, I can go on and on. if YOU want a basic rundown hotel to lay your head then please, by all means go ahead and book. But if YOU about class, this is NOT the place for you

It was an amazing experience during this pandemic situation exactly the needed one! The hotel is surrounded by nature and has many green areas which you’ll enjoy your time spending here. The employees are quite smiley that you feel like in a family. and while you're here, you must have the spa experience, Turkish Bath and massage a nice will be a nice treat. Absolutely recommended! :)

*PLEASE READ*

Me and a friend stayed here for a week 19th - 26th October.
Let’s start with the negatives;

Our room was filthy when we got there and needed a good re-vamp. VERY outdated.
Our shower left our bathroom flooded every time we used it, it was leaking out the bottom of the bath. No one was happy to help. Overall the hotel is very dirty, the outside toilets by the pool, weren’t cleaned once whilst we were there for a week.

Our AirCon was very hit and miss, when it did work it smelt outrageous and blew out so much dust.
On a few days of our stay we had to find housekeepers as they forgot to give us fresh towels.
Just a warning, for the first 4 days we were the only English spoken people, staff only know ‘you’re welcome’ so communication was proven difficult. Google translate was our saviour.

We paid for ‘all inclusive’ but had to leave the resort every evening for food. The fruit was rotten and last nights dinner would be served for the following days breakfast. Very limited choice, quite often the drink dispenser was broken also.

Food was a BIG no no.

We were made to feel extremely uncomfortable by male staff, after rejecting there offer to go out for a ‘date’, they started to treat us differently, to the point they stopped allowing only us to bring food/drinks by the poolside, meaning we had to sit by the bar infront of this barman. He also on one of the days wouldn’t let us have the sun lounger cushions for a good 2 hours. Very intimidating. From that point onwards, all we experienced was rudeness, a lovely couple on our last day actually started going up to get our drinks for us so we could avoid the discomfort & tension.

Due to it coming up to ‘end of season’, whilst we were still there, they started packing up sun loungers, stopped serving certain drinks, and stopped playing music during the day, it turned into ghost town and the staff simply could not be bothered at all, which isn’t a pleasant feeling for guests still staying here!

Lots of cats roam around the hotel so just be wary of that, as my friend is allergic so it was a slight problem for us! Also, lots of chickens and a staff members dog that finds her own way around (very friendly, just barks a lot at all the other animals!)

There’s no entertainment in this hotel at all, whether this was due to the time of year, we aren’t sure. But really, it shouldn’t make a difference.

Positives;

This Resort is in the most idyllic place, truly relaxing and just simply beautiful!
The pool is huge with plenty of sun loungers around it, it’s cold but very refreshing once you’re in, so if you’re looking for a relaxed week, this location is perfect for you.
Getting into town is super easy, reception will ring a taxi for you and it will be at the front of the hotel within 2-3 minutes costing only 20 Lira each way!

Staff in the town are lovely, we would highly recommend ‘Dolphin Restaurant’ great food and company!!

WiFi at the hotel is strong, whether you are by the pool, or in your room which is a positive.

The housekeepers are the friendliest and are the only ones that go out of there way to say ‘morning’ and give you a smile and not a dirty look.

Overall;
For the amount we paid, we wouldn’t recommend this hotel nor return.
Location wise, yes, this hotel has such potential but the staff or owners clearly aren’t bothered about the reputation it’s building.
We didn’t let the negatives ruin our week, it is what it is, however, we wished we’d booked elsewhere and hope this review helps anyone thinking to book, don’t do it!!

We’ve been in Castle Resort in September 2019 for almost two weeks. Overall it’s a very good hotel.

Rooms are just regular rooms for hotels with big bed, two nightstands, table with chair, minibar, small tv, air conditioner. Everything works, no questions. Bathroom is a bit outdated with bath with small shower in it, but again, everything works and does what it has to do.

Meal is ok, not much variance in breakfast, but pancakes and omelette cooked on demand are there daily, just like eggs and rice with milk (something between porridge and soup, not sure). Also soups on breakfasts, but we never tried it. And also 2 or 3 other dishes. In my opinion, breakfasts are the weakest daily meal, though we always found something to it. No questions to dinner and especially supper.

Staff is very friendly, ready to answer all your questions. Asked for additional blanket and bottle opener, got both. Had problem with safe, it was resolved almost immediate. Cleaning is daily, quality is ok.

Sea and beach. There is a shuttle going to the beach from hotel every half an hour in “busy” hours and hourly in a day. Shuttle operating hours are from 8 or 9 (not sure) to 17:30 (5:30pm). It takes about 15-20 minutes on foot to get to the beach or back to hotel. As the hotel is located at a hill, it can be a bit difficult to return to hotel from the beach though we did it multiple times and had no problems with it. Beach is private, there always were empty sunbeds. Beach is sandy, no rocks neither on beach nor in sea. Sea is shallow, even at buyos the depth is about 2 meters. Except that it takes about 10-20 meters to reach depth sea and beach are excellent.

Hotel territory is amazing. Lots of plants, places to sit or lay in privacy. And the views, they are everywhere and they are incredible. There are 2 bars with sea views and a “panorama” place with benches and mattresses to lay down.

Totally satisfied with our choice to stay at Castle Resort.
