Azure By Yelken Hotel

At first I was a bit scared when I read comments, but hotel is rather fine. Food is nice, variety of fruits, vegetables, salads, cakes. It could be more fish on the table. Nice beach and surroundings. Rooms are clean and they changed sheets three times during our stay. Kids playground should be cleaner, there are lot of used cups, glasses, etc. Also kids mini club has not been cleaned for months. People at reception desk speak English so we could communicate. Our conclusion is that hotel is ok, but it is not 5 star hotel. To sum - our stay at Azure by Yelken was nice.

We arrived early morning, the receptionists were nice and had out room as soon as possible. We stayed 6 nights here, the staff were friendly. the outside environment was perfect and beautiful, especially pools and observation deck.
The foods were delicious. Out room was clean, but didn’t have a good toilet , although it was acceptable.
The dirty cups and glasses remained at the back of the door of rooms for long time ( like pictures), because of few numbers of house keeping personnels who made their responsibilities the best they can. We should not blame them, but should their manager and bosses.
The lobby was ok but it was an old-fashioned one. Old and slow lifts which must be renewed.
One the most important items was it’s hygienic issue regarding to foods, since we got diarrhea, while we were not sure how and by which material we got infected.
The hotel location was good but so far from center and cost a lot to visit center.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay but in a 4-star hotel , not a 5-star one!

I had an amazing stay at Azure! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! They had the most beautiful deck going out into the water where it was a lovely place to read. If you’re a solo traveller like me this is a great spot to read. The cleaning staff were kind and ensured the rooms were left in a perfect condition everyday. Special thank you to Eda and Seaman at the reception desk who were great at answering all my questions, even changed my room to one with a better view and helped to organise taxi’s. If you are looking for a boat trip you must talk to Marco, he has amazing prices and is incredibly friendly! I had the most relaxing experience in their spa where they have a range of reasonably priced packages. Nicky is an incredible masseuse, I highly recommend her! It is true that some of the staff don’t speak English very well, however, many of them speak English perfectly. Please don’t travel to turkey, where the main language is Turkish and complain about not being able to communicate! The staff that weren’t able to communicate with me well, happily directed me to someone that could and were always kind when doing so. I will definitely be visiting again!!

Arrived on Monday and the hotel reception is massive, clean and open. Only tried food once and it's not brilliant but it's what you would expect for an all inclusive.
Really nice pool leading to the beach, very close and the large jetty is lovely. You don't even touch the beach. It's from the walkway.
Air conditioning in the room is a bit rubbish and dated.
After our first day my wife and I contracted pneumonia and were rushed to hospital. Still in hospital now. Please make sure you have decent travel insurance.
We've only been in for two nights and it's already nearly 10 thousand euros. Wow!

It's a beautiful hotel with everything you need. Staff are nice and friendly

We had a great time at this hotel. The staff are amazing and made sure we had fun. The food is good and the rooms are clean, comfortable and cheap. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful. The location is great as it overlooks the beach and is not far from Bodrum city centre. Züleyha was especially friendly and made our stay enjoyable:)

We checked out of the hotel today, so I will share my experience with this place in the past 7 days.

Firstly, I would like to shout out Zidan and Emen at the snack bar. They were extremely friendly and helpful, even when people were screaming at them and rudely slamming their drinks on the bar. Zidan seems to be working 24/7, and yet he is always professional and nice. Great guy.

As for the no entertainment reviews, I would like to point out that people were straight up rude to the animators, ignoring them and laughing behind their backs when they suggest an activity. Shout out to Ruby and Melly, who are both amazing, extremely fun, always happy and trying very hard to keep people entertained. But when people scream at them for not playing their song request immediately, I have no clue how they don’t lose their patience.

Also, shout out to the security guy by the snack bar. He is very nice, funny and professional. Always has a smile on his face and is very pleasant.

When you have people that feel the need to abuse the free alcohol aspect of their all-inclusive vacation 24/7 and end up jumping on the tables half naked, screaming at 2am, constantly throwing their trash everywhere and never picking up after themselves (they don’t have to, but common courtesy maybe?) yelling at the staff for any minor inconvenience and acting like animals who have never been outside of their own backyard, you can expect they will leave a bad review for absolutely anything.

While I do agree that the hotel has room for improvement, it definitely has potential. However, I could have a great time absolutely anywhere because I choose to do so.

These people are trying and working very hard, and were a very pleasant surprise during my visit. Always consider both sides of the reviews you see, and the types of people they may be coming from.

I would definitely come to visit again, great location, great food all day long, pleasant staff, nice pool with lots of sun beds and lots to see around the hotel. If you’re looking for a nice relaxing vacation, I would definitely recommend. If you’re looking to complain, you can do that absolutely anywhere. :)
