The Residence exceeded our expectations! We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed by lovely staff and the beautiful lobby. Our room overlooked the beach with the most stunning view that we could enjoy even from bed. The food was delicious and the service was unbeatable. Amazing hotel, kind and hospitable staff, food was amazing 99% of the time. The views are incredible and it's and incredible environment. Although sometimes services are a bit slow and some parts of the hotel still closed due to covid-19 restrictions

I loved my stay here. The staff is incredibly kind. The man who works at the pool (unfortunately forgot his name) was so helpful, caring, and funny. My family also fell in love with Evodius who works at the bar down the dock. He has such a great energy and I always looked forward to seeing him because he was great at his job and is a great human.

A stunning slice of paradise. Everything is organised to make sure you enjoy the most amazing experience ever. Spectacular pool and facilities. Our Villa with ocean view and private pool was just amazing, best honeymoon spot ever. The food is also great, best breakfast buffet I have seen and incredible dinning experience, with an special and curated menu. Special mention to our host Wilfred!

Very hospitable staff especially Amour who manages the restaurant. He made our stay so memorable and he planned a very special birthday surprise dinner for my dad. He is a very bubbly and kind person who is always willing to help. Lucy addressed all of our issues and concerns and improved our stay very much. She is very helpful and nice.

One of the best places I have ever been. The hotel is providing everything you could imagine. Staff is friendly, great. They are really there for you to enjoy your holiday. The resort has many hidden places. Not many people, it is actually far from everything. The ocean beach is rocky and also has white sand beach with a jacuzzi there. The pool is clean, many food choices. The room was tidied twice...

This place was an absolute dream! Everything was perfect and we wish we had stayed longer. Gorgeous facilities and the food and drinks are to die for. We had the best honeymoon we could have dreamed of!

Mixed feelings, still quite certainly the worst highly-rated accommodation I've ever stayed at. We have been there for 4 days and it was amazing! We enjoyed everything! The food is really tasty and cheap, from the lodge is possible to do any kind of escursion, the place is an oasy of peace... surrounded by beautiful vegetation and flowers, there's a nice swimming pool, bicycles at costumers disposition and so so so on...! Excellent Hospitality by the owners. Rooms though small are comfortable for 2 persons. Breakfast was delicious. They took us for Dolphin Spotting, (at an additional charge) and provided very good instructions for the best possible chance to view the Dolphins.

Excellent beautifully designed spot. Very friendly and secure. Built with minimal environmental impact. You can see endangered red colobus monkeys from your room and elephant shrews! Great food. Excellent dive centre and access to unvisited sites.

The place itself is charming and secluded, takes some time to get to through a rocky road so drive carefully. The lodges have a nice, african vibe and are pretty specious, but our experience was let down by a few things. First of all, there is no fridges, AC or kettles in the rooms ( no AC was fine as the place had a nice draft going through constantly as there are no glass windows - only nets)....

This place is off the beaten path of Paje, and well worth it. It's quiet, sun soaked, relaxing. Food is good, staff helpful and friendly. Would happily come back here. Don't miss out on the Blue Safari trip, catered picnic out to the sandbar.

The staff and the places give really good vibes to the guests. The food is quite okay even if you have to order 1h30 before eating. The view is totally amazing. There is a special and positive atmosphere. The room was clean but it is not really comfortable all the time. There is light from the day, birds croaking all the times and entering your room to poop. There was often no hot water and no electricity...

Promised Land Lodge had a charming environment, the room was nice and clean. The food was delicious. The pool in the area was nice. At night, monkeys walked on the balconies. Breathtaking. One minus was the salty water flowing from the shower, but everything else was perfect. Thank you so much.

The location is absolutely ideal for relaxation and organisation, the room was comfortable with a wonderful view of the ocean. Food delicious and with a fairly wide choice (although the menu never changes, even between lunch and dinner), very helpful staff. The activities organised directly by the resort are definitely more expensive than what is offered by the 'beach boys' who are practically 'underneath...

Hotel with restaurant and swimming pool directly on the beach 🏖 very nearby Kizimkazi. Very nice garden, clean and quiet place with very nice stuff. They have coffee ☕ machine here so you can get espresso (quite rare to find here). Nice food and reasonable prices (from 15.000 to 21.000 TZS for main course). Nice and deep swimming pool with ocean view.

What a stunning experience of simple beauty at its finest. Our wonderful Zanzibarian host Fatima organised a spontaneous day trip that will never be forgotten. Soon we were motering out to a deserted tidal strip of sand in the middle of the ocean that only appeared a few hours a day! This place is super! It's quiet, cosy, clean, has delicious food and helpful staff. Friendly owners Omi and Flo make a good job to develop the lodge and tours on ecological and sustainable way. The place is still quite new but it already works better than most of the lodges around. Really affordable place for lazy chilling in Zanzibar.
