The Residence exceeded our expectations! We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed by lovely staff and the beautiful lobby. Amazing hotel, kind and hospitable staff, food was amazing 99% of the time. The views are incredible and it's and incredible environment. Although sometimes services are a bit slow and some parts of the hotel still closed due to covid-19 restrictions

I loved my stay here. The staff is incredibly kind. The man who works at the pool (unfortunately forgot his name) was so helpful, caring, and funny. My family also fell in love with Evodius who works at the bar down the dock. He has such a great energy and I always looked forward to seeing him because he was great at his job and is a great human.

A stunning slice of paradise. Everything is organised to make sure you enjoy the most amazing experience ever. Spectacular pool and facilities. Our Villa with ocean view and private pool was just amazing, best honeymoon spot ever. One of the best places I have ever been. The hotel is providing everything you could imagine. Staff is friendly, great. They are really there for you to enjoy your holiday. The resort has many hidden places. Not many people, it is actually far from everything. The ocean beach is rocky and also has white sand beach with a jacuzzi there. Excellent Hospitality by the owners. Rooms though small are comfortable for 2 persons. Breakfast was delicious. They took us for Dolphin Spotting, (at an additional charge) and provided very good instructions for the best possible chance to view the Dolphins.

Excellent beautifully designed spot. Very friendly and secure. Built with minimal environmental impact. You can see endangered red colobus monkeys from your room and elephant shrews! Great food. Excellent dive centre and access to unvisited sites.

Had a magical experience here in Sept of 2014. The villas are absolutely beautiful with amazing ocean views. The onsite dive center made diving very easy to arrange with very professional and friendly dive masters and Nick, the instructor. This place is super! It's quiet, cosy, clean, has delicious food and helpful staff. Friendly owners Omi and Flo make a good job to develop the lodge and tours on ecological and sustainable way. The place is still quite new but it already works better than most of the lodges around. Really affordable place for lazy chilling in Zanzibar.
