Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort

Solo traveler from the US here to report all the good reviews are true. Tulia is a heavenly tropical paradise. The entire staff is next-level amazing. The grounds are unbelievably beautiful and the water is even better in person. I can see how it can be a romantic resort, but I also saw a few families and a pair of friends traveling together and I felt 100% comfortable being there solo. Also felt completely safe from the moment I was picked up at the airport until the moment I was dropped off. I could have stayed at this resort for a month. If you’re looking for relaxation and luxury this is your spot. I did lots of research on Zanzibar before traveling there and feel very confident I found the best place to stay. Worth every penny. I must have lucked out with the timing of the tides because I saw gorgeous water close up every time I was at the beach. Low tide was no issue. Also, swimming was easy and I saw no sea urchins close to the shore.

A truly amazing resort where the staff were the most exceptional thing here. Beautiful views, wonderful food, superb service and spotless rooms.

Amazing experience staying at this place. Hospitality, Quality of food, Design of building ....overall complete bundle of joy and relaxation. I must say,it's vision of promoter to provide best in class services and amenities. Quiet yet available options for activities, kid friendly. Totally awesome. Great staff is always in a good mood and smiling. Exceptional cuisine. On top of the privacy you get here! You must see their own garden, or the breathtaking wine cellar. It is a place to return to! Thanks for such a wonderful place!

Our stay at Tulia was wonderful. The resort is welcoming a limited number of people which gives a warm and nice atmosphere. All the people working there have been so nice. They had many little attentions all along our stay. This is definitely a place we would like to visit again, hopefully very soon.

My wife and I were spent the last few days in Tulia and really had a great time. This place is incredible and the hotel stuff made us feel like a family. The food was amazing, we felt like we ate in a gourmet restaurant all day long! Most ingredients camed from the hotel's organic farm so everything was super fresh.
We took the front beach room and it was well equipped, super clean with large balcony equipped with few sofas and hammock. Also, the hotel offers an incredible complimentary massage for each guest and free private yoga lessons.
We travelled a lot and we can definitely say that this hotel was the best luxury hotel so far, we had a great experience!

The best place ever. Nice people great food lots of nature see tide and the best person of the year is our friend Daniel. At night good drinf sat all together watching football match during the day miraculous beaches and safari. Very good vibes. Bungalows, service, massage and every thing was just perfect is my son playing football with the local stuffs at the back yard. Thanks a bunch…

Wish I could do 4.5/5 if I could.
The resort is gorgeous. I love that we could walk down to the water. This is also the only hotel/resort that we’ve been to so far that has a few selection of non-African wine! Food is overall pretty good, I wish there were fewer flies around the dining section… I love the fresh fruits that were served every morning!

Reviewing this super late as I stayed in November 2019. However, now staying in another hotel I realise I compare everything to Tulia.

Tulia was a lovely property, the rooms were large, there was always ample seating by the pool and the food was amazing. I highly recommend the all inclusive options which as people have said means all inclusive, and we were able to enjoy a bottle of champagne. There was also evening entertainment while you ate which was nice.

This hotel is expensive to stay, but worth it. I write my reviews on value for money and enjoyment. So although expensive I would not hesitate to go back and would highly recommend to others.
