We arrived at the hotel after travelling 12 hours and the shuttle the hotel arranged was not there. This is because the hotel had not arranged the pick up and when we phoned they scrambled to find us a ride. We were also misinformed about whether we needed cash to pay for the taxi by the hotel. We arrived to the hotel and there was no room for us. The manager was conveniently not in and the booking manager was not willing to speak to us. They told us they had the reservation that we paid for but no room. We either had to be shipped off to their (lower quality) sister hotel or get a refund and leave. No meaningful help was provided and they had the ******** to tell us to WhatsApp the booking manager because they didn't want to speak to us on the phone. No explanation was given.

It's hard to describe this hotel other than a scam. So be warned!
We had reserved a week in a beach front villa over the X-mas holidays. Upon arrival sitting with a welcome drink we received a cancellation notice on our phones. Our reservation was done and payed 10 months prior arrival and we ordered transfer via the resort 1 month prior arrival. After several attempt to reasoning with management they drove us off to another resort, handed us the keys to a room wayback of the resort and wanted 4x the price.
After 6,5 hours of negotiation we got the price down to the original. I can see in other comments that we are not alone with this awful experience. You have been warned!
