Really good value for money. The hotel is not five star, but it is in a great location and the service is great. Hotel is located one block from Park Hyatt, and within close distance to beach front restaurants.

A truly lovely place with great location! The manager Hassan was extremely helpful, always smiling, ready for an advice, feedback and joke. Saumu handled my tours/excursions and she was also great! My room was spacious and very clean. For breakfast they offer an entire menu. Loved every second of it, definitely recommend it!

Excellent location. The room is great for the location and price. The staff are friendly. The breakfast was great. The only problem is the the bathroom and bedroom are basically one room separated by a curtain, but thats what you get with a boutique hotel.

I went out if season so the hotel was quiet. Rooms are serviced daily and amenities are good. Hotel is on the beach and the tide goes far out each day but comes right up to the hotel in the afternoons. Lovely authentic good sized rooms and all staff are attentive and polite. Very good security.

Don't go there if you're looking for a stay on the beach ... actually, there are much better hotels in Zanzibar.

The good: The room (king size bed) I was in was spacious and comfortable and had all the services (refrigerator, toilet, wardrobes.. Etc) were provided and operational The bad: the internet connection is free BUT the system for connecting is annoying (you have a single use user and pass and you have to try every combination until you reach one that connects you)

I stayed at this hotel for 3 days during Ramadan. The room that I stayed on the first day was not comfortable. The shower was broken and the room felt congested. We quickly requested to move our room and they did. The next room was perfect. After you check in make sure u check the shower. The location may not be in the center of town, not would you be able to swim in the sea. But the hotel and the staff are fabulous. The manager takes personal care of the guests.

We booked this to sleep close at the airport since we had an early flight next morning. Boy what a surprise, best food we had in 10 days on this island. Highly recommended for comfortable matresses (also best in 10 days cruising) and great great food, go for the tempura prawns and you will know what I mean :-)

It's was a unique experience! The reception and the front of the hotel are the Mbweni Ruins and the rooms are at the back facing the ocean. Its a quiet hotel very potential if they take good care of it. Rooms are spacious but overpriced compared to the facility offered. It is to be rated 2 however I have rated it an extra star due to its location near eating joints. Sasa BBQ is just next door woth good indian and sea food, CCM is 5 minutes away with good african food and sometimes a local band plays there.

A quiet place with spacious rooms and pocket friendly going @Ksh. 3,000. However, the room service is slow and breakfast not so good.

It is far from stone town(25 minutes), Breakfast is very bad and there is no lunch and dinner. You need to go to stone town and need to pay for to go and coming back 20$ every day for lunch and dinner. Single matres is very hard, not confortible. You can't sleep on that matress more than one hour up to morning. Swiming pool is small but was very clean and good.
