5 star hotels in Zanzibar City

I came with friends to see the sea. It is in the center of Stone Town and has a good location. Overall it is good and I will choose it again if I have the chance.

The location is in Stone Town, which is convenient for sightseeing. It is a very good hotel in the area with good facilities, but it is a bit expensive

It's not new, but very beautiful. When we checked in, they said there were no sea view rooms, what a pity...; The hotel is on the west side of the island. Don't forget to find a sunset cruise to watch the sunset, which is the highlight of the hotel on the west side of the island.

Right in the heart of Stone Town, you can go downstairs to the beach. There are fresh coconuts for breakfast, but they are not sweet enough. Haha, maybe the African coconuts are not the right variety, they don't feel sweet enough. The overall service facilities are good and meet the standards of a 5-star hotel.

The hotel is beautiful. It is located at the heart of Stone town. If you like luxury than this hotel is for you. I’m definitely going to go back. The food and the friendly staff made my stay extra special.

The resort is the best. I had an amazing experience here . It was the best vacation I’ve ever had. I enjoyed everything. Definitely coming back again.

Zanzi Resort is the best hotel experience. Love the late breakfast until 12 in the room in front of our private pool. The hotel is beautiful, looking exactly like the photos. They indulged us in a lovely Valentine's Day dinner with great entertainment. You should also try their spa as it is relaxing.

The place is really nice, but noisy and at some point especially from 3pm as there several sports activities around the beach area. The beach is really dirty and not taken care of.

I stayed at this resort for weeks and it was worth my money spent. Amazing service by the staff. Delicious food! Not forgetting the fresh different types of juice served in the morning . I will definitely go back there.

Lovely staff, very nice rooms and good restaurant. I recommend it for a few days as a nice break to rest with gorgeous views and sunsets.

It is a pretty neat lodge with a dynamic staff and great service. I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the suburbs while visiting Zanzibar. The only downer was the road to the lodge. Hotels in the neighborhood should put together funds to fix the bizillion potholes.

I stayed at Mtoni Marine for a combined period of 10 weeks, 3 years ago. The food was great, staff very friendly and helpful, nice pool, location close to stone town yet peaceful. Truly memorable experience.

Good hotel. The staff is very helpful - got a free upgrade, make sure to ask. The food was also very good, and service was fast. Only problem is they didn't have a restaurant that was open 24 hours, so when it got really late we had to order food from outside!
