Great and authentic hotel along the west coast of Zanzibar. Nice rooms, both garden rooms and junior suits very nice. Service was great. Really nice bartenders/waiters. Exceptional front desk lady (forgot her name). Very efficient and welcoming resort manager (South African national). However, few notes. Don’t come here if you’re after a resort vibe, a la minute American style butler service, hotel rooms a la Accor hotel group, animation teams, etc. But do come to this place if you’re looking for a truly authentic African experience and immerse in the local culture of Zanzibar, enjoying peace during your holidays with a book, chilling in the Zanzibar authentic vibe. Sunsets are amazing.

I am really glad that I chose this hotel for stay for 3 day from 18/06 until 21/06 but really the room and the staff and the view very amazing I love the staff because it’s very friendly with us every day have music at dinner it was very amazing to explore the culture music of zanjabar if I visit again I will choose this hotel
One thing I love about them is my last day there was a payment left for the hotel and I try to pay through the card but it wasn’t accepted the machine and they let me to go and then sent for me a link to do the payment which is good they don’t let me waiting for long time they trust me and send me a link after I left they are very amazing

Lovely staff, very nice rooms and good restaurant. I recommend it for a few days as a nice break to rest with gorgeous views and sunsets.

It is a pretty neat lodge with a dynamic staff and great service. I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the suburbs while visiting Zanzibar. The only downer was the road to the lodge. Hotels in the neighborhood should put together funds to fix the bizillion potholes.

This please was very relaxing and the views were breathtakingly beautiful.

The staff were amazing and very friendly, helpful and understanding. Probably one of the best guests service I’ve ever experienced. The rooms were clean and they actually do housekeeping service twice a day.

The food was delicious and portions were good , I don’t know why though most of the people said that their food portions were small! But drinks prices were not cheap to be fair, they were average.

The only thing that misses this place is a beach, a beach where you can really swim

First time and day in Zanzibar? And guess what ? Its the most beautiful lodge that i ever seen , we booked twoo bedroom villa , and we are shocked wow wow everything is speechless, please dont miss the chance to stay here , 5 stars for the stufffff specially happiness ! Thank you

Best rest I had in years! Food amazing, service from staff is top class, they are so friendly and welcoming. Love the historic aspect of the place...

I stayed at the villa room apartment and it was so nice with sea front balcon. The services is so good too, I would like to recommend enyone else to go there.
