Instead of receiving the assistance I expected, I faced blatant discrimination. The manager made unfounded assumptions about me based solely on my appearance, implying that I might be homeless because I am Black. Such prejudice is completely unacceptable and should never occur in a hospitality setting.
To make matters worse, the manager even threatened to call the police on me, which was not only shocking but also deeply disrespectful. As a veteran proudly wearing my VA tassel and ID, I anticipated a welcoming experience, but instead, I encountered hostility and unjust suspicion.
I have filed a formal complaint regarding this incident. It’s crucial for businesses to ensure all guests are treated fairly and respectfully. Until changes are made, I cannot recommend this location.
Mini fridge doesn't really work all that well.
You can hear the doors slam all the way down the hall (which is why I'm writing this at 11:52 pm). The toilet sounds like a turbo jet engine spooling up and it fires off in the middle of the night for no reason. Lastly there's no blackout curtains. Which when you're up all night hearing these thick hollow doors slam, it'd be nice to be able to sleep in.
More importantly the staff was super nice and the bedding was clean.
