First of all, the room service was impeccable. Qiana (floor 20) needs a raise because no matter what she’s earning, she’s worth her weight in gold. She is respectful, and obviously cares about her guests personally.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Also, we were treated like royalty by all we met.
The bed wasn’t so great I slept on the day bed as it was more comfortable.
The lobby is beautiful and the history of the hotel is fun
The location is going downhill. I was afraid to leave the hotel without my husband and I have zero problem in any other large city

The one star for service is based on the on-site valet parking. The hotel itself could use a makeover/upgrade.
Pros: centralized location. Lots of food and drink options.
Cons: room had faulty lights and bad water pressure. Housekeeping came around 5:30 PM to clean the room after we had been out all morning/afternoon.
Be forewarned: do not use the hotel valet to park your car. This is a terrible company (AAA Parking) that is separate from the Hyatt. They charge $60 a night for valet parking and will not accept responsibility for any damages that happen to your vehicle under their care. They do not answer phone calls. Their staff is not friendly while you are their on the property nor are they any better when filing a claim.

This is an over all worst hotel experience I have ever had. This experience does not reflect the high standards I have come to associate with Hyatt Regency, and I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests. The location is great, the hotel management is terrible!
I recently stayed at the Atlanta Hyatt Regency on March 22-23, booking two rooms through the Hyatt app. As a loyal Hyatt customer for many years, I had high expectations for my stay, especially considering that Hyatt Regency is known for being a high-end brand, particularly for business travelers.
Unfortunately, this experience fell far below the standards I have come to expect.
I was placed in a suite's living room without a proper bed or bathroom facilities. The only sleeping option was a sofa bed, and there were no real blankets provided in either room, making the situation incredibly uncomfortable and cold-especially after a long day of walking and standing at a convention. As someone who has chosen Hyatt multiple times for its reputation in providing quality accommodations for travel, this experience was particularly disappointing.
While I understand that room types can vary due to availability, being assigned to a random living room without prior notification and proper facilities was unacceptable. I was so tired from the convention that I didn't have the time or energy to go downstairs and argue about my room. On the day of my departure, I had to catch a flight, which added to my stress.
When I approached the front desk to discuss my concerns, I was friendly and simply trying to address the issues with the room I received. However, I was met with a hurried and rude attitude from the staff, which only worsened my experience. They mentioned that if I had any problems with their actions, I should reach out to Hyatt directly. This dismissive response left me feeling uncomfortable, as I perceived it to be poor service. Instead of receiving the quality service I expected, I was left feeling undervalued and frustrated. It's clear that the front desk staff could benefit from additional training to better handle guest concerns and provide the level of service that Hyatt Regency is known for.
This experience was a stark contrast to the high standards I have come to associate with Hyatt Regency, a brand I have trusted for many years. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and works to improve the experience for future guests.

The Hyatt Regency in Atlanta would be a great hotel if they could fix the issue with their workers. Not one worker was pleasant to speak with. Everyone doesn’t seem willing to help and there’s definitely an attitude issue here. Valet was extremely rude. We waited for 5-10 minutes while two workers were chatting it up. Eventually another lady came in, and said “how long have you been here”. No “hi”, “hello”, nothing. She didn’t look up to us so our response was , “are you speaking to us?”. Later in the day we dropped the car back off with valet. 45 minutes after dropping the car off, we were continuously notified about our car being unlocked. Thankfully; we took all valuables out of our car for this trip.
Both mornings I went to the Market for coffee. The first morning they were out of several requested items (Saturday 8/10). Vanilla, cold brew, etc. Again, no eye contact and the unwillingness to help. Everything is overpriced. I need someone to help explain how yogurt parfait is 9.00. This brings me to our second morning here (today 8/11). I ordered a yogurt parfait to bring up to my husband. We took the lid off to eat and it was chunky and separated. I tried mixing, but still chunky looking. I had a little taste… old. Not good. I paid 18.00 for two expired yogurt parfaits. My husband and I were stuck between deciding if we should go down stairs to request a refund or exchange it for something that’s edible, however we decided against it because we didn’t feel it was worth the energy to argue with rude workers. Plus, the date on the parfaits are 8/15… all I can say is that I feel bad for anyone eating these parfaits on 8/15.
The rooms: the rooms are very nice but don’t expect them to be cleaned properly. The inside of the closet was extremely dusty. My favorite part of the rooms were the empty beer cans under the sofa in the room.
This hotel could be really great if management put time into their workers with proper training.

Stayed here for several nights as part of a work conference. One of the best hotels for these type of events. Great facilities, great food, great service. Several in-house restaurant options - the Marketplace in particular was great for really good food options on the go. Fast elevators to the various rooms.on the 22 floors in the main tower. Rooms were largely quiet, although even from the 19th floor the street sounds of sirens etc., could still be heard. Super friendly staff. I e of the best hotel gyms I've ever seen. Only down side was the abundant homeless population immediately surrounding the hotel, including in nearby parks - not really a family-friendly atmosphere. Easy walking distance to the Coke museum and the Georgia Aquarium, among other attractions. Recommended.

I always love being here! I can't think of anything wrong with this place. Great service. Very nice decor, clean rooms and professional staff. It is also centrally located and close to many places to hang out, eat and see.

We only stayed here for 2 nights but they were great. Great view from our top floor room and also got a quiet room on request. The only less pleasant part was when we tried to go down to the lobby bar and the waitress was very smart and rude. Otherwise a lovely stay and would definitely stay at this hotel in the future.

The location is perfect. I didn't realize it, but the train from the airport stops very close to the hotel. The Polaris restaurant is a A MUST SEE. The food is AMAZING and the chefs are really friendly. You can watch your good being prepared in the rotating restaurant. I stayed in the international tower. The rooms are newly renovated and spacious. I had a chase lounger and a king bed with a desk. The only bad thing was the room was a handicap shower so there was no barrier on the floor to keep the water in the shower, so after my shower the entire bathroom had half an inch of water in it which didn't completely drain overnight because the water didn't flow towards the drain in the center of the room. I'd definitely stay again though.

Great location, friendly staff and beautiful place to stay. However on vacation and the one thing my kids always enjoy is the pool and it's closed. We picked this hotel because of the pool. Would have been nice if we were told ahead of time.

This large hotel is centrally located in downtown Atlanta. It has an impressive foyer, and the staff here are super friendly and super helpful. As a frequent travel, rest and quiet is top at my list of asks. The front staff here have always been open to my specific requests on room type and location, which is hugely helpful. There is a real ask here (it's even posted on signs) to be quiet. Two thumbs up for this! There is a restaurant in the building, as well as a convenience shop and a fairly large bar. The bar can get very busy, especially when there are large groups in the hotel. Overall a great business hotel in downtown Atlanta.
