This hotel is awfully expensive given that it's showing signs of wear and tear.
The layout is very neat, so every room has full-length windows to see the city. We were on the 35 floor.
Parking is SO EXPENSIVE! $45/day!!!
The hallway carpet is coming up and is threadbare in front of our room. The hallways were very dark.
The mirror in the bathroom was broken, as was the soap dish. The chair at the desk was vegan leather, but it was cracked and had seen better days.
They did not provide garbage removal or housekeeping on the second day of our stay.

Instead of having a book showing room service options, you have to scan a qr code. It's just too much inconvenience for the $250/night.

The restaurant on top is EXTREMELY expensive. Entrees are about $100/ person, and you can't go up without each member of your party having an entree.
The Bar was very nice, comfy, and fun.

All the staff, everywhere in the hotel: the restaurants, gift shop, check-in, were all excellent.

Visited for a birthday weekend. Had a fabulous time. Close to resturants and bars. The room was clean and had a great view. No problems, the staff was friendly and answered all requests. Parking is challenging, even when you're using the valet parking, pack your patience.

Hotel location is prime! Staff were very friendly and helpful. No concierge service, bar not open until later in the afternoon and restaurant does not offer a lounge. Some perks could be added to make this property even more desirable.

I reserved this room for my parents anniversary where I filled out a card authorization form so I could pay for the room six months in advance. They all said this was the way to go about paying for the room. I called three months in advance to make sure everything was set. They reassured me. I called the day before they arrived to make sure my mother’s check in experience would go smoothly. Once again reassured that there would be no problems. Day of……problems. The cashier was rude to my mother which is absolutely wild when your job is customer service. My mother who is the sweetest woman ask if she could check the notes section of the account and look for the card authorization form. The woman would not listen. My mother gave her card in defeat. The woman asked if there were any requests for the room. She stated she asked for extra towels in the app. The front desk woman laughed and said they never do those requests but she’ll do it. My mom stayed there for two nights never got extra towel. One reason I picked this hotel out of the many hotels in the Atlanta area, was the customer service, but clearly we’ve dropped the ball there. After their stay I tried to solving the problem by refunding my mothers card and charging mine. I spoke with Madison Gilbert who could careless about solving this problem. I waited on hold for her for over twenty minutes and when I asked her if she was briefed by Zaria about my situation she said sure. I’m sorry but I 100% understand why the front desk people act the way they do if this is the person the supervisors them. It’s the most infuriating feeling about the solve a problem that I tried to prevent six months prior and I’m met with attitude and zero concern. I didn’t do this you all dropped the ball. When she saw the card authorization she said “okay and. If I was the front desk person I wouldn’t have known to look further into it.” And that’s when I explained that mother ask the front desk person to do so b/c this isn’t a normal checkin there was a card authorization attached to the account from 6 months ago. Madison Gilbert was immediately checked out of the conversation and stated the card had already paid. -_- I can’t put into words this frustration. Truly common sense is not common. Yes, I was completely defeated at this point.

I always love staying at a Marriott for the most part. Typically, it is a very good experience. That said, there was a horrible odor in my room which I believe stemmed from the pipes in the bathroom. I wasn't in the room much and didn't bother trying to change rooms so that's on me. I'm sure if I let them know, it would have been handled. Other than that, it was quite comfortable and the service was very good. There are plenty of food choices on site, and it's very conveniently located. The staff were always very pleasant and helpful. 4 stars this time..minus 1 for the room odor only because I feel they should've known. 😉

I liked the pool, gym, observation deck and high-speed elevator :). The day was planned in such a way that we didn’t even have time to make the bed, but when we returned, everything was put away, clean and new linen was hanging.

Confusing layout at first. Took some time to learn how to navigate the building.

Edit: I need to edit my original review since my company and I have had a horrible time resolving a billing issue. May stay was for business and they charged my personal card for not only my room but my boss's room as well. We gave them a business card in advance for the rooms and incidentals, but they claimed they needed my personal card on file or else they wouldn't give me my room keys. Well I was tired from traveling all day so I gave them my card, confirming that mine wouldn't be charged for either my room or incidentals. Fast forward a few weeks later and they charged my personal card for both rooms, leaving me with a huge bill that they can't seem to figure out how to refund. We've been calling them for weeks trying to deal with this issue and still no refund on my end. I've opened a case with my credit card company to try to resolve this. Absolutely the most incompetent staff I've ever dealt with. Don't press your luck, stay somewhere else.

Also, a maid just straight up walked into my room when I had the do not disturb sign hanging on the door outside. Luckily I was decent when she walked in asking if I needed towels.

Housekeeping was lacking, sometimes the rooms weren't cleaned and when they were they didn't even replace the toilet paper. The TV reception was so choppy sometimes it was almost impossible to watch a show. The bathrooms are tiny, you could not get through the bathroom door with a walker so make sure you get an accessible room even if you don't normally if you use a walker or other mobility device. You can not get delivery to your room. You have to meet them in the lobby. The view is nice and it is convenient to a lot of attractions.

parking sucks, the garage is so tight I don’t recommend anyone to park anything bigger than a car. Front desk was horrible, I understand they were switching systems but could anyone not let us know ? Instead they walked back and forth while we stand waiting without a clue. Not worth the money considering it’s a Westin. The rooms are nice and clean but small and tight. I honestly feel I could’ve stayed at a better hotel at a much cheaper price. Not what I expected for a weekend in the A.

Nice hotel, with wonderful views and decent rates. Location is phenomenal. Starbucks on premises, but it is only open from 6-6. Valet is $45, and self-park is $35, so it only makes sense to have them park for you. It is only 2 blocks from Centennial Park, 4 blocks from CNN and maybe a 10 minute walk to Coca Cola and the Aquarium. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. We had a billing issue that they corrected within 10 minutes. We would definately stay here again.
