Marriott Hotel, the quality is guaranteed as always.
The hotel is clean, the surrounding transportation is convenient, and the breakfast is relatively rich.
The hotel facilities are first-class, the lobby is bright, and there are sports equipment
PS: I clearly requested a quiet room, but I don't know why they gave me a room near the elevator? There were too many people coming in and out of the elevator, so it was too noisy. I didn't sleep well, and the service was not very good. The hardware is probably at the level of Samsung in China.
It's a good time in the hotel.
The location is very good, convenient for travel, the room is clean, tidy and comfortable, very satisfied, I will stay here again next time
Good breakfast menu, other than that, I would like to say everything is normal.
Very good hotel, right next to the MIT Science Museum, with a subway station downstairs, coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets for shopping. The room is very cozy. Next to it is the Google office building with complete facilities. It is great to meet with teachers and friends. It is also very convenient to Harvard, just two subway stops away. I highly recommend it.

Second time staying here, quite like the vibe of the hotel. By the river side of Boston river, quite quiet during the day, but also a popular gathering place at night and on weekends. So you get both the quietness and the crowd. The room is decent sizes, nothing to complain about. And the services are also reasonable. Surely would be my choice if I come back to Boston again. Oh forgot to mention, get...
Very good. The facilities are a bit old. The room is a bit unsoundproof, but everything else is ok.
Last minute reservation, fast check in, received a room upgrade when offered to join the Sonesta program. Very nice staff. The room was excellent, very clean and well presented. Highly recommend.
The hotel was a lot busier than I expected. There was a lot of noise coming from the surrounding rooms with kids running wild or people just having a conversation at 3am outside the door.
The room itself was comfy and I had a great nights sleep! The bathroom was clean but a little dated. Careful with the river view room upgrades, the room I was in only had a partial river view which doesn't look like...
This hotel has a great location and could be a wonderful experience, but the service was not good on our trip. I joined a friend at the end of a 2-week stay for a conference. The AC unit leaked onto my bed during the night. Maintenance fixed it, but no one changed the sheets. I think this could be a great hotel, but they might have some hiring issues right now.
Good overall, front desk forgot our laundry twice but returned it quickly after we called to check

Near river and every thing ok. You can go MIT, you can find food easy
The hotel is in an excellent location, not far from MIT. There are many parents attending graduation ceremonies these days, and the hotel prices have risen, but the service quality is not satisfactory. Despite this, we will always remember the beautiful Charles River!
Nice rooms , friendly service and decent location
The hotel is located by the river, next to MIT, very quiet. The transportation is also very convenient, the service is also very good, it is a very good experience, I will come again next time.
The view outside the window is very beautiful, the snowy Lake Charles. The hotel facilities are also very good, and the service is also very good. It is an impressive hotel that is worth recommending.

If it's not graduation season, this hotel is not worth the price 😓 The front desk service is quite cold. The highlight of this hotel is its excellent location, there is a shopping mall next to it, and it is convenient to transfer to the subway.
The room was very neat, clean and new. Very comfortable stay.
The hotel is in a good location and the room facilities are comfortable.
Elegant hotel within walking distance of the center. Nice room. Friendly staff.
Old hotel, small room. No view. No coffee machine. Friendly staff at the front desk. Large parking lot for $30 a day. Free coffee. Great location, close to Harvard and MIT.

excellent service and great staff.
great breakfast and lovely well stocked spacious room
I stayed at this hotel for more than 6 weeks on one of my work trips and super liked the accommodation. The rooms are spacious, bed and other furniture were comfy and reasonably new. My room had a decent work desk and chair and the kitchen was fully functional. During my long stay the room service never missed out on their schedule and overall it was a pleasurable stay.

Rooms were large and clean with all the amenities you need. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There are plenty of tables and comfortable places to set up a laptop and work for a few hours after breakfast service is complete. Convenient to coffee shops and restaurants (always important for work travel) and a lovely little park next door.

We had a great stay in a very nice room. The rooms are newly renovated and very nice. The hotel is well appointed and in a great spot. Only issue we had was that there was poor water pressure in the bath/shower. Other than that, everything was fine.

Excellent hotel. The service was perfect. Room was clean and Monica was always available to provide with towels. Fairfield has an amazing location, near the Lechmere Station.
We had a lovely stay at the Fairfield Cambridge. From the lovely stuff at reception that allowed us to check in early in the morning. The service throughout our stay was excellent with lovely stuff all around.
The location, and the proximity to the subway station I'd a key asset to the property.
Very clean and comfortable! We actually liked the sound of the train. It’s very calming to us. But I think it’s awesome they provided a noise machine. My only complaint is the “comforter” which had two flat sheets to give it a duvet-ish feel. One on top one on bottom. But they come apart?? Plus it’s too heavy. But the bed is comfy. 5 stars overall.
The folks in the lobby have been very accommodating! Gaby had gone above & beyond to ensure we had a great hotel service & experience. Andrea the housekeeper was proactive and got us fresh towels + anything else we needed in the room.
Breakfast was also great, the staff made sure everything was fully stocked with fresh food & drinks, they had someone giving clear instructions on how to use their waffle...
Loved this Marriott and the location. Rooms are clean and breakfast is 10/10 the best part of this hotel. Lechmere station (MBTA) is a 5 min walk. There is water, lemonade, tea, coffee, and free snacks daily. The employees are so nice as well. Perfect for long stays.
Great service! Especially Juan at the front desk improved our stay a lot. He was very helpful, kind and patient. Very professional!
Breakfast ist typically American, vegan options were bagels, jam, peanut butter and fruits (uncut apples and bananas).
The linen was too small for the bed so it slipped off a few times at night .. the free tea and lemonade is nice though..
the doors aren’t soundproof...

The room was very nice, the service was also very good, but there was no free parking, the parking lot cost $50 per night, which was quite speechless. But the breakfast was good, the free breakfast was very delicious, which was the only consolation.
Convenient transportation, rich breakfast
Although it is not far from MIT, the surrounding area feels quite remote. The front desk service is not good. They refused to provide bottled water. I asked for it twice but they didn't give it to me. They said it was only for members and asked us to buy it at the gift shop, but there was no one in the store. Later, I went to the supermarket next door to buy water. Then I remembered that I had registered...
The room is not small and has all the basic facilities. It is an 8-minute walk from the Green Line. Although it is not in the center of Boston, it is still very convenient. The breakfast variety is OK. We stayed for 9 days and we were tired of it by the end. There is a big supermarket next to it, which is very convenient and cost-effective.
Trouble with the toilet flush 😱
Very good and clean. I stayed there for the second time. The space is very large.

Cambria Hotel Boston Somerville

The room is clean and big, the hotel design is unique, and the front desk service is very good
The room is very comfortable and clean. There is a restaurant next to the lobby downstairs. There is free coffee in the morning. There is also a game room downstairs: there are billiards and very retro pinball machines. It is very suitable for family and friends to come out and play together! It is also good for business trips.
However, the transportation nearby may be scarce, and parking is charged
This is definitely a treasure hotel. In terms of transportation, it is 30 minutes by car from the airport and 15 minutes on foot from Harvard University. The hotel is of moderate size and clean. It is worth recommending!
Around 20 minutes walk to Harvard. The facilities are nice and the room space is big.
I stayed here during my school visit. Next door is Fried** and Donuts. The hotel's own restaurant is highly rated, but unfortunately I missed the Italian food I had at Italian Street in the evening. I took a taxi for all my trips, which was quite convenient.
The hotel is very new and the environment is very good!

The Charles Hotel in Harvard Square
Cambridge, 1 Bennett Street 🧭 Map
This is the first time I've encountered a hotel booking through Ctrip that I couldn't check in. The hotel refused to check me in because they couldn't settle the charges with Ctrip. I waited for over an hour with my child and missed dinner, with no compensation. Ctrip paid the entire bill, but the hotel also charged me the same amount as the room rate as a deposit, plus an additional $50 for incidentals...
The hotel is in line with expectations. The front desk is polite and welcoming, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the location is quiet in a busy city. It is a hotel worth staying in.
Best hotel if visiting Harvard or any of its schools. Very central in Harvard square. Nice restaurant for breakfast and nice small bar. Rooms were very clean and beds comfortable. Price fluctuates a lot depending on what is happening at the university. But, highly recommend.
The room is nice and elegant. It is located inside Harvard University, with convenient transportation and many restaurants and supermarkets nearby.
It is located in the Harvard campus, and you can walk around the Harvard campus, which is very convenient. The hotel facilities are also very smart, and the front desk staff are also very friendly.
The room is spacious and comfortable, the transportation is very convenient, and it is very convenient to run around the Charles River.

Nice and clean hotel, friendly staff and good service.
Super expensive and not even a bottle of water in the room. Pretty ridiculous for a 4 or 5 star hotel not to give you water, tooth brush, comb and basic stuff
Good arrangement for booking, check-in and check-out! Friendly staff!
Hotel was in an ideal location - near restaurants. The staff were friendly and courteous. Amenities were sufficient. Our assigned room was good sized and comfortable. However, I didn’t think our bathroom was cleaned well enough - a couple of hair remnants of previous hotel guests was found on the shower wall and on the floor.
Hopefully, they can do better next time. I won’t mind returning to...

Requested a 6:30 am wake-up call from the staff (man and woman) working the night shift, and I never got the call. Shower head needs to be replaced, it shoots knifelike daggers of water, can't be adjusted.
We were staying for the weekend as my daughter was running the marathon. Friday night was filled with children running up and down the hall yelling without any parental intervention. Saturday morning we, and several other guests in 2nd floor, let the front desk know we were ok with them kicking the loud family out. We had no further trouble. In fact, the front desk staff couldn’t have been more pleasant...
The rooms were okay - not huge, and no frills. The location was excellent and the staff was wonderful. Our first room had a leaky shower - would not stop dripping - and the front desk staff immediately switched us to a new room. The WiFi signal was fairly weak, and I had to use my hotspot most of the time.
I arrived at the hotel at 8am, and they kindly accommodated my early check-in. There was a drink bar next to the check-in counter, so I was able to relax and have a cup of coffee while I waited. I would definitely use this service again the next time I visit Harvard.

This is one of the most beautiful little hotels in Cambridge. The staff are amazing. It’s a wonderful place. I would recommend it in every time I’ve stayed there many times and each time is better and they just remodeled and it’s beautiful.
Hotel Veritas Doesn't Disappoint
The hotel was well-positioned for our trip to explore both Boston and Cambridge. The staff were exceptional, and the amenities quite nice. Having one of the smaller rooms I had only wished for just a bit more drawer or organizational space - but it was quite lovely nonetheless!
Wonderful stay!
Wonderful stay! Room was freshly remodeled, lovely property, great location, but most importantly, staff are the best. Service is impeccable and the people are just the nicest and most friendly.
Very friendly, close to Harvard square and the river (goos for jogging).
Great find!
Fantastic in all respect. Friendly staff, and great 24-hour espresso machine.
They don't serve meals, but there are plenty of great eateries nearby. Tatte Bakery & Cafe is highlky recommended for breakfast (including full breakfasts), pastries, and coffee.

Irving House at Harvard

The room is very good, especially the breakfast is good, and there are snacks on weekdays. The public bathroom is spacious and clean. Lee Harvard is very close. It is a good choice
I stayed at Irving House to spend two days in Boston-Cambridge before my college reunion. It was the perfect stay: walking distance to Harvard Square, lovely New England living room, clean, comfortable and quiet bedroom. Breakfast was delicious, with many choices. There is always staff, and always coffee and tea available throughout the day. It was rainy the days I stayed, but staff had plenty of umbrellas...
Easy, convenient, reaonable
I really enjoyed staying at Irving house for a few days. It was reasonably priced, the location was good, and the room was comfortable. I was staying on business, but would also consider staying with my family.
It is an old country apartment located on campus. The reception is friendly. The breakfast is very good. There are snacks in the afternoon. The room is a bit cold. The waiter provided a small electric heater.
The room has an older decoration, close to the airport, 5 minutes drive, very convenient choice, a bottle of mineral water and sweet biscuits were given, there is a round trip shuttle every 20 minutes.
The location is very close to Harvard. There is no elevator. The breakfast looks better than the hotel.

My friends and I stayed here over the Fourth of July weekend and was first greeted by an AC leak in our unit. We tried to handle it ourselves but it got progressively worse with a very foul odor filling up our unit. Long story short, we went back and forth with customer service via text (limited holiday/weekend staffing) and they were unable to move our party to another unit due to no vacancy. We ended...
We had a very good experience here. The location is superb for Cambridge, our room was large and light--three windows--and quiet. The lack of daily bed-making/cleaning service did not bother us--gave us more freedom to come and go as we pleased. Bed was huge and comfortable, refrigerator and mini kitchen allowed us to eat breakfast in situ. The free nespresso coffee machine off the sitting room was...
This was a lovely place and centrally located to Cambridge. Easy to walk to metro stations and to places near Harvard. We were skeptical about an Air BNB without someone on site, but the host was in touch easily and quickly through text.
Very nice boutique hotel with unique flavor of New England. Convenient to every place. Warm reception.
A very pretty Inn, perfect location, great parking, wonderful breakfasts. However... I never truly felt welcome. Staff in general was just not very friendly.
Very nice, clean, comfortable room. Great restaurants in walking distance. Can walk from train station. Inn has afternoon tea and 2 choices of breakfast included in room price.

I've only been in the Boston area for 8 days but so far so good 👍 I'm loving my accommodations. It's a unique large home that's clean, the owners are inviting, friendly down to earth people. It's in a fairly decent neighborhood and very close to shopping of all kinds and local eateries. It's also within 30mins (on public transit) of BWH which is great for me. I'm saving a lot of $$$ not having to...
A little pricey perhaps, and the shower wasnt getting hot water (but tough). But I slept well, the place was clean and comfortable, and that was what was important. Lugging a heavy suitcase up two flights of narrow, steep stairs was fun (not) but still, would possibly stay again should the opportunity arise.
Everything was so clean, I definitely recommend this place. It is super close to everything.
