Remember to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking your stay. This website will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is one of the highest rated in this area. I've been coming here for years. If you choose this place you for sure won't be let down. Nice hotel with a cool retro feel to it. I particularly loved the corner...
Great view from Floor 24! Amazing gym! One of my favorite Marriotts. Lovely staff. The location is fantastic; you can walk, rent a bike and have lots of restaurant choices. (Picture taken from my hotel room window.)
They definitely try. The room is small. The small footprint is not unique for a city hotel but the low stepped ceilings made it feel even smaller. I’m 5ft 5inches tall (basketball was never in my future) and could touch the ceiling….it’s overpriced for what you get but convenient to the MIT Sloan building. The staff was awesome awesome (double awesome).
staff were friendly and tried hard. night manager was especially fantastic.
The hotel was clean, comfortable and modern, but what really made our stay was Norma at the front desk. She treated me like a friend she'd known for years not a client to file in the appropriate room. She was professional, knowledgeable and personable. It felt like I had ally and peer on the inside to help me be comfortable during my stay. Authentic customer service in a world that's almost forgotten...
Very expensive, and the restaurant service was much slower than seemed rational… likely because I am not a platinum member. The M-club food was good (just plan for everything to take an hour longer that in any other restaurant). The room was small but tidy. Good hotel gym, but all the running machines fill up quick in the morning. Overall, I’d recommend finding another hotel at half the cost 2 minutes...

The hotel was a lot busier than I expected. There was a lot of noise coming from the surrounding rooms with kids running wild or people just having a conversation at 3am outside the door. The room itself was comfy and I had a great nights sleep! The bathroom was clean but a little dated. Careful with the river view room upgrades, the room I was in only had a partial river view which doesn't look like...
This hotel has a great location and could be a wonderful experience, but the service was not good on our trip. I joined a friend at the end of a 2-week stay for a conference. The AC unit leaked onto my bed during the night. Maintenance fixed it, but no one changed the sheets. I think this could be a great hotel, but they might have some hiring issues right now.
Location is great and if you get a balcony view, it's a great overlook of the river. The room itself was fine. There were some nice touches and the bed was pretty comfy. No actual complaints over my short one night stay. Very quiet too. There is a Starbucks on premise which is nice. For me though, the highlight was the views and getting to watch the sweep rowing teams from the balcony.
This review is only for the restaurant. Dante was just OK. It was quiet and had gorgeous views on a Friday night which was great! It was also decorated nicely and the chairs weren't terrible. Unfortunately, the food was just eh. We split four appetizers then each got a small main. Nothing was excellent and everything was very expensive. Our waiter was also EXCEPTIONALLY awkward. Overall I would not...
Just went to meet friends at the bar. Had a great time! Bartender was cool and made me my drink even though he ran out of a liquor in the process!
Very nice hotel w/beautiful interior design throughout. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Great toiletries. ALWAYS the bonus is having a bathrobe waiting 4 me in my room!!! Which comes standard w/every room. No microwaves anywhere on property!

This was a nice dog friendly hotel. Beds are very comfortable, and the restaurant inside had great food. Coffee bar in the morning and a free wine hour from 5-6pm. Also, they do dollar oysters from 5-7pm, and they were prepared so well. I took away one star just because, unfortunately, the gym was closed, but they do give you passes to use a local gym, which was close enough to walk to. The ice machines...
Our first visit. Interesting design. Nice lobby. Excellent staff. We had no problem checking our bags hours before our room was ready. The room was big and bright. The bathroom needed maintenance - peeling wall paper/paint and a rusting tub drain. Also there seems to be no bathroom ventilation. The bathroom remained fogged for an hour after a shower. The underground parking garage is a complete...
Excellent choice for those doing business in Cambridge. They offer wine at 5:00 p.m. and free coffee for most of the morning. Full bar service with breakfast, lunch and dinner options. Staff is professional and courteous. Great location and walkable to the Charles river bike and walking path and the shopping mall.
One of the best hotels that I’ve stayed at with dogs, both in terms of accommodations and service. The front desk staff was very welcoming and offered dog treats, dog bowls and even dog beds free of charge. The rooms were modern and spacious. Exactly what we needed.
Staff are wonderful! Rooms were dated but functional. Beds were clean and very comfortable. The fitness center was small, but they had more equipment than I was expecting with a filtered water dispenser and chilled towels. LOVE that they are pet friendly and you can get dog water and food dishes delivered to your room! The less to pack when traveling with a pup the better! There is also a park directly...
We had a fantastic stay. We came into town to visit friends, some of whom live north of the city and others who live south of the city. This was a convenient location to easily get to central meet ups, as well as for enjoying kid friendly attractions like the aquarium and the museum of science. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the shops and restaurants in Harvard Square but a few streets back so that it is quiet. I enjoyed my breakfast at the hotel restaurant Henrietta's Table. I had a great view from my ninth floor room. Staff were very helpful and understanding; they organized a mini fridge for my room. My bed was very comfortable and my triple room was also very spacious...
The Charles Hotel was the perfect home for our wedding weekend on December 31, 2022. No one could've taken care of us, our family, and our friends better. From the months prior of expert planning with Jennifer Halpin, to the day of execution, on a holiday no less, with the most pleasant staff... we were blown away. The reservations team, including Ariana Ricci, was responsive and kind while handling...
Great hotel with very friendly staff. Fitness room is a little bit of a euphemism. Cafe ok. Beds are amazing and interior throughout the hotel very nice.
To Alex, Jennifer and the entire staff at The Charles Hotel, You helped us achieve all of our daughter’s and new son in law’s wedding of their dreams. From the minute we arrived to the end of an enchanted wedding reception we are all so very grateful. A wedding is not an easy event to plan, however you and your staff made it look easy! Thank you for everything we couldn’t be happier today. The parents...
This hotel is very conveniently located close to Harvard Square's shops and restaurants and the T station. Our room was very comfortable and quiet with a nice view over the central courtyard. The hotel's restaurant Henrietta's Table serves a good breakfast. Staff were very helpful and understanding organizing a refrigerator for my room. This is a great place to stay right next to Harvard Square.
No pool!!!!! I was really looking forward to swimming for my back, since I spent all day either driving a great distance or visiting my mom all day at a nearby hospital for esophageal cancer. The pool was the biggest draw for my picking this hotel aside from the great restaurant and location within Boston. Very comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean. Helpful staff.
I stay here often. The staff have been awesome every time and I've yet to have any issues. This last round I was put in a room right next to the elevator (sharing a wall with the elevator lobby) and my room was still perfectly quiet. I could hear a bit if my upstairs neighbor was stomping around & the water was loud when they flushed their toilet, but nothing that impacted my ability to sleep, which...
A very nice surprise considering not all pet friendly hotels are this nice, well maintained or as clean. I told the front desk woman I'd mention her name for being so amazingly wonderful in every sense of the word, but I can't remember her entire name only the beginning letters Su... not your average name like Susan or anything like that. Room was clean and very modern, beds soft as a marshmallows...
Modern and working appliances. FreeWifi at night somewhat spotty. Windows can't be opened but a little crack. Very noisy if you get a room on the street side. Insufficient noise-management in the structure. You will get startled by noise in your bathroom - but it was the adjacent guest. You wil hear guests in adjacent rooms talk and the ones above you walk around. Breakfast nice but at extra cost.
Overpriced (and incredibly jacked up for BC's family weekend). Noisy rooms (it's right near a highway and our room was overlooking the highway). Very new, very clean, very nice looking rooms but just not worth the money. Parking is in the building next to the hotel, so you end up walking to the lot - it's a short walk but if it was raining, snowing, etc. it wouldn't be great. There is a nice park...
Bed and bedding were super comfortable, one of the best I've had in a hotel. Bathroom spacious and bright; not sure if I liked the glass door though. Room nicely appointed, had lots of plus/outlets/USB ports. Large fridge, but no microwave, so points off there .
We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, and I can confidently say that it exceeded our expectations. One aspect that truly stood out was the ZenHotel booking website. Very convenient located with food, grocery and Home Goods/TJX nearby. Subway trains a short distance walk so getting around is easy. Our room with what it seems like a King bed was huge. Bathroom was oversized as well. The lobby area which is stylish, with pool table, bar and attached to Starbucks via a backdoor way was great.
We stayed 2 nights. Staff was friendly. Bed was so soft. Location is hard to get in and out because it is next to a busy circle. This is NOT a "four star" hotel. It is a 3-star hotel at most. Room is small and no closet. Pay $16 per night for parking.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay! Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Noah in particular provided wonderful customer service when we unexpectedly needed to extend our stay a couple of days. Also, the daily breakfast was very good!
Great hotel, convenient location, near a Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. Staff was terrific. Noah was super helpful with all issues, very friendly and warm. Fortunately for us (and unfortunately for him), he was ALWAYS on staff. It was comforting to see his friendly face every time we left and returned to our room.
Warm and inviting staff were incredibly helpful. Spacious room as well as a generous lounge area provided many options for relaxing. My visit was like a home away from home, wish I had more time there! Can’t wait to come back!
Decent hotel in Cambridge. Easy to get to -- if you find driving in the Greater Boston area easy. Clean, updated (decent number of outlets and USB charging ports available). Somewhat pricey. Nice little bar off the lobby with simple but nice food available at breakfast and dinner. Starbucks is easily accessible next door as is a Whole Foods.

Perfect location, good value for money, friendly staff.
Clean rooms, very nice and accommodating staff. Gave our entire sports team late checkouts so that we could shower after our tournament finished. Great cleaning service.
This hotel has an amazing staff, everyone is really nice and willing to help. BUT, it has terrible ENVIRONMENTAL and RECYCLING processes. I’ve been here for a month and could see the huge waste each day is created. All plates and cutlery are single use only. All towels are washed every day. Definitely a huge awareness and planet care is needed.
If you want extremely comfortable beds, modern clean rooms, and a great location for exploring Boston or Cambridge, this is the place to stay. Great venue, comfortable rooms. Friendly staff and really great free tea and coffee.
Rooms are ok, but on the small side. There's only a tiny desk and a cube to sit on. Fortunately, I didn't need to work in the room. Some minor quips, the thermostat was broken, the shower had not much pressure and the flow was barely enough to get wet, and the toilet kept running. The main advantage of Hotel Truth is its excellent location to Harvard square.
After a chance find we quickly booked into this hotel given the great looking pictures of the rooms. We were not disappointed! Great room, albeit small and with varying water pressure. Extremely helpful staff. And an elevator you suspect might hold you hostage at the ground floor, but that's flavor
We made a group booking for our wedding party and guests. Justin was very accommodating to our requests and responded promptly. It is very clean. The towels and linen of beds smell to clean clothes. There are different types of rooms, mine was very large and nice. Quiet. Comfortable beds and pillows. Coffee and tea all day long. My room had a small fridge and a microwave (which was brand new).
Very clean and cozy BnB. Davis Square and the Davis red line station are just 5 mins walking from the hotel. Lots of fun shops and restaurants in both Porter and Davis. Great value as well. Visited Cambridge a few months prior to this stay, made the mistake of getting an overpriced AirBnb, never ever again. A Cambridge House is now my go to place to stay when visiting Boston, 100%.
So cute! Lovely little place to stay as you explore the Cambridge area
Stayed here while visiting Tufts for parents weekend. The location is great for Tufts - its about a 20-25 minute easy walk. Davis Square and the subway to Boston are about 5-10 away. The hotel is clean and is decorated as you would expect for an old inn. (we had a canopy bed in our room) The only complaint was the size of the bathroom, which did not have enough room for all of our toiletries...
The location is ok, not the most convenient location, but the ~10 minute walk to the subway station isn't bad. The rooms are very nice, very pretty and historically preserved. The service and management is very nice and accommodating. All around very nice place for a much better price than big corporate hotels, even if the location isn't necessarily ideal.
Would recommend this B&B. Service was great as we arrived with some big(and unhandy) suitcases, the offered up a closet where we could store them. Things like this are what you look for in a bed and breakfast. Location is sup optimal but doable. Great hotel. Very clean. The room was spacious and beautiful. $39 for parking a day is pretty steep though. But it is in a very convenient location. Close to a lot of fun activities.
Solid hotel for a business trip - friendly and efficient front desk check-in. Rooms are well appointed, including irons that work and proper hair dryers. Front staff accommodated our reasonable requests quickly and happily. No complaints! There is also a Trader Joe's within 5 minutes walk.
Great location and rooms. The staff are friendly. The restaurant has good food. The city/river views are amazing and worth the cost. Sunrise or set on the Charles River is beautiful. There's a Starbucks, Trader's Joe's and Whole Foods nearby. You can also walk to Harvard square on a nice day. The only downside is the small gym

Stayed here recently because I'm racking-up membership points. This place is clean, fresh, and the staff was on-point. Would stay again. It's not quite in the middle of stuff, but the small parking lot is right on the street, and you can come and go as you please, or just walk.
this is a truly excellent marriott. they respond quickly to room service requests via app, the lobby is wonderfully decorated for Christmas and smells wonderful, free hot breakfast included and coffee always available, excellent convenient location for my brisk walking commute to MGH. highly recommend this hotel
Nice hotel. It had a microwave which was nice. Hotel was nice clean entry new. Small parking lot for $40 a day(Aug 2022). Only a 13 min walk for museum of science, and 10 minute drive from Quincy Market and Fennel Hall. Right next to the Green subway line which is a five 5 walk . Good compromise if your looking to pay a little less rather than staying downtown.
We had an excellent stay. The room was clean and well-appointed. The breakfast was substantial and there was a lot of variety on offer. But most of all, the staff was the BEST! We stayed here for two nights and are very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is older but completely remodeled. Extra attention was given to making the rooms quieter.
