The Colonnade Hotel
Boston, 120 Huntington Avenue 🧭 Map
The location is great, in a very nice and central part of town with easy access to shopping and restaurants. Also not very far from the airport so convenient when flying in and out of town. Staff was very friendly and welcoming and check-in / out was simple and fast. The room was comfortable and basic. They have the option of 2 beds in the room so can sleep 2 adults and 2 kids if required.
Very quiet and comfortable room in a great central location. Opening windows, automatic temperature control, soundproofing and beautiful views from the floor to ceiling windows made this a great place! I loved the rooftop pool and the food/drinks were great. Parking is very easy and the hotel is right on the green line. The coffee maker was a blast, but everything else was great!
Nice hotel in Boston, right near the Prudential Center. Nice small rooftop pool, friendly staff and reasonably priced. The attached restaurant is a little pricey for what you get, but there's a lot going on in this city.
The staff is the highlight of the Colonnade. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout my entire stay. Orlando in particular went above and beyond to improve my experience upon arrival and address the noise issue from another guest. The rooms were very clean and well updated. The location is good for exploring downtown Boston.
The Colonnade was right across the Prudential Center and provided easy access to the convention center. The Duck Tours was near the hotel and allowed the group to do sight seeing. The rooms were clean and they provided free water bottles. The mini fridge was great to keep drinks cool and the TV had all the basic channels to make sure I didn't miss out on my nightly shows.
What a cheerful hotel. The Old Town Trolley has a stop right in front of the hotel that provides a 2hr tour of Boston complete with options to tour at all 19 stops. The green line T train station stops at Prudential which is exactly at the front of the hotel. Roof top pool, weight room on the 5th floor, it's own restaurant and much more! Enjoy!

Courtyard by Marriott Boston Brookline
Brookline, 40 Webster Street 🧭 Map
We had a wonderful time staying at Courtyard Brookline! The location was perfect with a quick walk to restaurants and cafes. It was also an easy walk to the train to get to Fenway for the ball game. Would definitely stay here again if we get a chance to return to the area. Thank you!
Room seemed clean. The cleaning staff was very kind and friendly. However we asked for a travel crib for the baby we were traveling with upon check in which was around 9ish and had to ask 3 more times until we finally got it after midnight! By that time the baby was already asleep in an adult sized bed which obviously isn’t safe. Very irritating that the staff took so long to bring it to our room.
Location is very convenient. Lots of places to eat nearby and other amenities. Ample of parking in the building. It’s right by the T.
It has a nice courtyard inside and laundry rooms to use for guests.
The only thing of an inconvenience is that one of the elevators are out of service. It takes a long time to wait for the elevator.
Location is excellent and the hotel itself is fine for a short stay. But…
We may have got unlucky with our room (410) as it got really hot. The air con worked great but it was like having a wind turbine in the room and woke me up the first night terrible so had to turn it off. When I woke up the room temp was 77.
Also could hear the conversations of the guests next door very loudly later one night...
A good location, clean and comfortable good sized rooms. parking is onsite but with a daily charge.
Our daughter lives in Brighton and we love to stay here. We love that it is clean and friendly. It's close to some adorable shops and good food! Right down the street from grocery too! We didn't eat at the hotel, but it is a nice place to stay!

The Verb Hotel
Boston, 1271 Boylston Street 🧭 Map
nice and clean, pretty cool rooms and the heated pool is awesome during cold winter days
Drinks and beer at the bar were very good. The bartender provided excellent service. It was fun place to have a drink before or after the game.
It was nice to be right in the middle of Fenway area, the rooms were small but comfortable and it was really need having a record player and a record collection to choose from! Employees were super friendly and the food was good although I wish it has been made clear to me that there was no room service ahead of time. It wasn't that much of a hassle to walk down to the bar to pick up the food though
Kind staff and clean. I truly did enjoy the hotel and the design of it. The beds where a little stiff and in the morning I did not enjoy hearing the landscapers blowing the leaf blower. I would definitely stay here again without a doubt.
Very cool vibes at the verb. Right next door to fenway. So if you don't like noisy pick elsewhere. My rooms peephole was blacked out which I found odd. The vent in the bathroom did not work which made it steamy. Everything else was super cool. Selection of records near the lobby if your into that kind of thing. I was pleased with the preselected records already in my room. Someone has good taste! I...
Perfect location by Fenway and House of Blues. A bit campy, but the music theme is pretty fun. I love the vinyl library you can borrow from for the record player in your room. Not really a four star hotel when it comes to the rooms, but the location and vibe of the place makes it a great place to have a good time for a night or two. Oh, and it has a pool! Be warned: it can be kind of a maze trying...

This is a stunning and glamorous historic hotel located in the heart of Back Bay right on Copley Square. Room was spacious and beds very comfortable. Staff kindly accommodated our request for early check in.
Beautiful hotel!
Great thing is that right outside the hotel there is something to do, such as the library, 2 churches, not far from new berry street.
The hotel is very upscale and classy. The rooms are a good size with a large bathtub. Toiletries are from Le Labo.
The bar downstairs has professional bartenders.
A good place. Great staff. The room is undoubtedly upscale, despite its age. The doors are a little sticky, but the furniture and bathroom are in excellent condition. You can still appreciate the hotel's history while enjoying modern amenities.
Stayed here on a trip through New England and had a great time! We booked this place for a great price, but I would happily pay more to stay here again. The interior was beautiful and the rooms were very nice. I really liked the location as well as the service! We had breakfast downstairs and it was the best oatmeal I've ever eaten. My husband got a bean and something to eat and I was completely...
Stellar! Exceptional!
I can’t say enough positive things about this hotel and the staff. The restaurant In the hotel, Is also amazing I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in a 5 star hotel, in central location near everything in downtown Boston
We stayed here for a week and loved the whole experience! From spacious and clean rooms to friendly staff, it was a great stay. The exquisite gold lounge was definitely one of the highlights of this property. The location allowed us to walk to everything! Would recommend!
Excellent, scenic location. Quick access to local and intercity transportation. Clean, comfortable. Bathroom was large and beautiful. The toiletries provided were outstanding.
The rooms are quite old - small. We had to change to a bigger one - additional cost, but original room was too small

I didn't exactly have a bad time here, but I was very disappointed. I don't make a ton of money, and I saved for many months and took up many extra work hours for some extra cash. I had a nice weekend planned alone, I recognized the Sheraton name and saw the room prices and thought it was a nice glamorous place to treat myself at. I opted for the more expensive lake view room. The view was fantastic...
The lobby is very sophisticated and has a good aesthetic to it. This isn't a big complaint because it doesn't affect everyone but the scent they have going through the lobby is VERY strong. I actually liked the smell of it but I get migraines with intense smells and because I had to check in to get my keys it did give me a migraine. Again, I know that isn't everyone but I wanted to note it.

I stayed for 2 nights in August 2023.
Bedding, shower, and room overall were acceptable. Hasn't been updated in many years so there's lots of wear and tear, but nothing problematic.
Location is very good. Convenient to transit and walking distance from lots of interesting places.
Environment was quiet. No complaints.
Staff was a mixed bag. Some were very friendly and helpful. Others seemed annoyed...
Very spacious room, big windows, TV with big screen, silent and good room service. The hotel is connected to a mall with excellent boutiques and restaurants. in the winter time it is big plus! Great bed, lots of light, sofa, coffee table, good armchairs, etc. Comparatively the bathroom was small, but very good shower. Helpful concierge.
I did not stay in the rooms. The conference food was delicious and high scale. I had mix feelings about the meeting rooms in back bay. The chairs were too warm to sit in. The ac sometimes felt like it needed to be colder and most of the rooms were fine. Very nice location with access to public transportation
The club rooms have some of the best views of the city. While being cozy and clean, the staff was also rather professional and helpful. The workout rooms are some of the best iv used in a hotel. The only issue I has with my room was with the heating/cooling of my room. No matter what I set the thermostat to my room, the temperature remained at 80 degrees. Eventually I just turned the thermostat off...

Great room, "this works" toiletries which was really lovely, Yard Restaurant for breakfast was very good. Starbucks on site was a bonus. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent, Subway close by and shopping malls too.
I stayed at this hotel as a little kid around 1986 and had not returned since. When we see things as an adult that impressed us as children, we are often disappointed. This was not the case with the Boston Marriott. Of course the hotel has been modernized, but it’s amazing views and well maintained lobby are still something to remember. As a child, I remember being in awe of the team of custodians...
we went to the Marriott in Copley place. it is a very good location. the hotel is nice too. i think my only complaint is the valet parking at $69/day which is just crazy but i was too tired to self park the car after traveling half-way around the world.
also they charge you $25 fee for whatever but if can be used for purchases in the hotel (like room service). that seems a bit of a rip-off too...
Great customer service and excellent location. My only caveat would be that if you do not need an adjoining room and are assigned one, perhaps ask for another as those doors even when closed allow full conversations to permeate. In my case, I could hear a young child close to midnight still refusing to go to bed, understandably excited to be in a room with a view overlooking the amazing city of Boston...
Enjoyed a wonderful stay here with my daughter for two nights as we explored the surrounding Boston area and all it had to offer. In the Back Bay. Needed an early check-in after a morning discharge from a hospital. They were very accommodating and the room was ready 5 hours before their standard check-in time. Neat, tidy. Just what was needed to recover.
Stayed here for a convention at BCEC. All other hotels in the area had crazy inflated prices except here. Very good price and very well kept. Looks a bit run down from the outside (as everything in Boston does) but inside looks maintained nicely. Location is kind of a pain, parking is pricey, and complementary breakfast was non-existent. Other than that, it was worth what we paid.
Our other hotel had no power and we had to scramble to find a new room. Hotel Boston accommodated us right away and even let us check in early. The friendly service was a major plus. The only reason it's not a 5 star is because the motel is dated and older, but clean.
Decent room and service, the breakfast was selection was fair, however, the roll out bed was covered in debris when it arrived.
Decent room. Bathroom needed much better attention. Tub was slimy. Free breakfast was pretty bad, all breads and pancakes. WARNING: There's a massive construction project right next door. Machinery running all night (generators?). Was rudely awakened at 7 A.M. by all the beeping and banging.
Nice neighborhood and good value hotel in the Boston area. Really convenient to the T train. Nice breakfast and helpful front deak staff.

Very nice ambience with good atmosphere. The place is cozy and the place wasn't too packed for celebrating new year. The drinks were good but expensive. Only visited the spa for a massage on a girls day with my mom and sister - Did not stay overnight. The spa is very clean and relaxing. The blankets in the waiting room are so nice. I don't recommend going as a couple though since there are no coed amenities.

Nice hotel, good rooms and nice river view if you get river view rooms. I wasn't a fan of the pillows. Full disclosure; I give 5 stars to Alexandra, the bar manager. I can't fully comment on the hotel/other staff as I didn't stay at the hotel (I stayed across the street). It was fun to be there. If you are looking for a budget motel with a nice and friendly atmosphere with 100% hospitality ... I think the inn motel is a good place as the service was very good and a friendly atmosphere was found. It is located in a very nice place.
I stayed here because I had an MRI at Boston Childrens Hospital and had to talk with the doctor. And the stay at this hotel was AMAZING! Btw i stole there tissues so hotel if you see this.... im sorry

I was a little nervous to book after reading reviews but I am beyond happy I followed through with it. First off, the staff is awesome. They held our bags since our flight arrived early and then they even were able to have our room ready a little earlier for check in. The hotel room fits the feeling of Boston in fall. The decor is so cool as is the hotel itself! Location location location, we were...
We had a wonderful experience staying here. I want to give a special shout out to the night manager Joanne. I spent several nights in the lobby due to insomnia and she made me feel so welcome and safe. It really made such a difference in my experience at this hotel. Thank you so much!
We went for a weekend, trip to Boston, and stayed here for one night. When we checked in, they only had one more room available that we had booked. It was on the first floor, we took it because you have to pay for a different sized room.
I wish I could say this was a nice day, but unfortunately I can’t. If you are sleeping on the first floor, be aware, they have a club underneath the hotel. According...
Good location to base yourself for a Boston trip. However, although the room was very clean, it was very dark and a little dingy as we had a window that overlooked a public corridor which meant we had to have a privacy blind down at all times. Big gaps under doors which meant you could hear everyone and everything from the corridor all night. Nice little gym room which was basic but a nice bonus. Staff...
Great location! Central and near almost all the key sights. Plus, some great shopping. Hotel was well priced, clean and provided good service. Our only complaint would be the size of the room in general, but most specifically, the bathroom. Very small and would steam up quite quickly. Some renovations definitely required, but good value for the price paid. Overall a pleasurable stay with minor complaints
Great experience and would thoroughly recommend this hotel. My wife and I stayed here as part of 25th wedding anniversary vacation visiting Chicago, Boston and New York from Scotland and I can honestly say this was the best hotel by far. Staff were wonderful and hotel felt immediately very homely. Our room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Hope to visit Boston again in the future.

Clean and the staff was nice. Our flight the next day was cancelled, but the staff was accommodating and informative. I would stay again.
Very good location and well priced. Only bad thing is that there is no bar. The staff are friendly and the hotel is quiet. Breakfast is great and pizza place in the evening is tasty too. Recommended for young travellers who aren’t spending much time in the hotel.
Basic hotel but clean, comfortable and well priced for the great location right next to the Hancock building. The rooms are small but have all the necessities. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Downstairs is a nice coffee shop. 100 Clarendon offers overnight parking. You can get your ticket validated to save six dollars a night if you are staying in the hotel.
I'm giving them a 3 because of the history & beauty of the building and kudos to the "cleaning staff" for the pride they take in their jobs. I am handicapped, NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR US! You have to park in a garage around the corner and tote your items yourself. Also, beware when you are told the hotel pays for the parking! Guess I miss understood...it cost $70 for 2 days & that is with the Hotel...
Ok, I add my vision of the main points treated in previous reviews of this place:
- Rooms: They are not so extra tiny to me. My room was OK.
- Beds: Mine was also comfortable. No complains.
- Shower: Yes, mine wasn't warm enough.
- Heating-noise: it was terrible. I could barely sleep. And it is even worse if you turn the fan from "auto" to "on". But if you don't do that, the room gets really cold ...
Nice hotel. Good location. Get a lot of noise from other people slamming their doors and heating isn't great.
