Sheraton Boston Hotel, Boston1 / 38
8.3
Boston, 39 Dalton Street 🧭 Map
I didn't exactly have a bad time here, but I was very disappointed. I don't make a ton of money, and I saved for many months and took up many extra work hours for some extra cash. I had a nice weekend planned alone, I recognized the Sheraton name and saw the room prices and thought it was a nice glamorous place to treat myself at. I opted for the more expensive lake view room. The view was fantastic...
The lobby is very sophisticated and has a good aesthetic to it. This isn't a big complaint because it doesn't affect everyone but the scent they have going through the lobby is VERY strong. I actually liked the smell of it but I get migraines with intense smells and because I had to check in to get my keys it did give me a migraine. Again, I know that isn't everyone but I wanted to note it. - The front...
I stayed for 2 nights in August 2023. Bedding, shower, and room overall were acceptable. Hasn't been updated in many years so there's lots of wear and tear, but nothing problematic. Location is very good. Convenient to transit and walking distance from lots of interesting places. Environment was quiet. No complaints. Staff was a mixed bag. Some were very friendly and helpful. Others seemed annoyed...
Very spacious room, big windows, TV with big screen, silent and good room service. The hotel is connected to a mall with excellent boutiques and restaurants. in the winter time it is big plus! Great bed, lots of light, sofa, coffee table, good armchairs, etc. Comparatively the bathroom was small, but very good shower. Helpful concierge.
I did not stay in the rooms. The conference food was delicious and high scale. I had mix feelings about the meeting rooms in back bay. The chairs were too warm to sit in. The ac sometimes felt like it needed to be colder and most of the rooms were fine. Very nice location with access to public transportation
The club rooms have some of the best views of the city. While being cozy and clean, the staff was also rather professional and helpful. The workout rooms are some of the best iv used in a hotel. The only issue I has with my room was with the heating/cooling of my room. No matter what I set the thermostat to my room, the temperature remained at 80 degrees. Eventually I just turned the thermostat off...

Great room, "this works" toiletries which was really lovely, Yard Restaurant for breakfast was very good. Starbucks on site was a bonus. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent, Subway close by and shopping malls too.
I stayed at this hotel as a little kid around 1986 and had not returned since. When we see things as an adult that impressed us as children, we are often disappointed. This was not the case with the Boston Marriott. Of course the hotel has been modernized, but it’s amazing views and well maintained lobby are still something to remember. As a child, I remember being in awe of the team of custodians...
we went to the Marriott in Copley place. it is a very good location. the hotel is nice too. i think my only complaint is the valet parking at $69/day which is just crazy but i was too tired to self park the car after traveling half-way around the world. also they charge you $25 fee for whatever but if can be used for purchases in the hotel (like room service). that seems a bit of a rip-off too...
Great customer service and excellent location. My only caveat would be that if you do not need an adjoining room and are assigned one, perhaps ask for another as those doors even when closed allow full conversations to permeate. In my case, I could hear a young child close to midnight still refusing to go to bed, understandably excited to be in a room with a view overlooking the amazing city of Boston...
Enjoyed a wonderful stay here with my daughter for two nights as we explored the surrounding Boston area and all it had to offer. In the Back Bay. The rooms were extremely comfortable, clean and well lit, and a nice large TV. Housekeepers were very friendly on the floors and always said, good morning. The concierge was more than helpful and pointed us in the right direction whenever we needed some...
Location location location. Despite other hotels I've stayed in the city, it's hard to beat this location. It gives a lot of options for food, supermarket if you need it, the T is nearby, it's just the perfect location. The comfort of staying in a Marriott definitely always meets expectations. Beds are good, bathrooms are good (thanks for the large amenities!). Nice staff. It's all comfortable. Except...

The Colonnade Hotel
Boston, 120 Huntington Avenue 🧭 Map
The location is great, in a very nice and central part of town with easy access to shopping and restaurants. Also not very far from the airport so convenient when flying in and out of town. Staff was very friendly and welcoming and check-in / out was simple and fast. The room was comfortable and basic. They have the option of 2 beds in the room so can sleep 2 adults and 2 kids if required.
Very quiet and comfortable room in a great central location. Opening windows, automatic temperature control, soundproofing and beautiful views from the floor to ceiling windows made this a great place! I loved the rooftop pool and the food/drinks were great. Parking is very easy and the hotel is right on the green line. The coffee maker was a blast, but everything else was great!
Nice hotel in Boston, right near the Prudential Center. Nice small rooftop pool, friendly staff and reasonably priced. The attached restaurant is a little pricey for what you get, but there's a lot going on in this city.
The staff is the highlight of the Colonnade. Everyone was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating throughout my entire stay. Orlando in particular went above and beyond to improve my experience upon arrival and address the noise issue from another guest. The rooms were very clean and well updated. The location is good for exploring downtown Boston.
The Colonnade was right across the Prudential Center and provided easy access to the convention center. The Duck Tours was near the hotel and allowed the group to do sight seeing. The rooms were clean and they provided free water bottles. The mini fridge was great to keep drinks cool and the TV had all the basic channels to make sure I didn't miss out on my nightly shows.
What a cheerful hotel. The Old Town Trolley has a stop right in front of the hotel that provides a 2hr tour of Boston complete with options to tour at all 19 stops. The green line T train station stops at Prudential which is exactly at the front of the hotel. Roof top pool, weight room on the 5th floor, it's own restaurant and much more! Enjoy!

THANK YOU for making our visit to Boston a memorable one. This hotel is great - location, staff, service... Our Fenway Park view from the window made it extra special. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed. Hotel has access to bar, restaurants and train. We cannot stop talking about our stay and how awesome it was. I wish I remembered the names of every single staff member so...
Great location just a short walk from Fenway. You may even run into a ball player in the hallway like we did! Helpful staff and a nice contemporary feel with clean rooms and comfortable beds. Will definitely keep The Commonwealth on my list for future trips to Boston
If I had written this review after our stay in August, I would have remembered and mentioned every staff member we encountered by name. They were friendly, professional, helpful and just an absolute pleasure. We were in town for our son's graduation held at the MGM Music Hall so the location was perfect. We walked to the venue, I ran along the river and enjoyed exploring the area on foot. Our room...
The entire front desk team was amazing! So helpful and welcoming. Chris and S were particularly awesome. Not to mention how incredibly cool this hotel is, it's a vibe. We were upgraded and our room was large and lovely and had a cool city view. Great location for catching a game or hitting up the T to explore the city. We will 💯 be back!
Walking in to the hotel smelled amazing. The hotel was neat and clean. The entire staff was friendly and welcomed us with a warm welcome and snacks. We were early and got checked in our room earlier than expected and it didn't disappoint.
Great vacation! The location was perfect for us to catch a Red Sox game. Literally less than 5 minutes walk. Several restaurants and bars nearby. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever stayed in a hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Definitely will be back!

The Hilton in Back Bay is conveniently located near the Prudential Center, the Hynes Convention Center and Copley Square. It's close to the Green Line, and the Orange Line/Amtrak is a short walk away. The hotel itself is pretty nice, with clean and comfortable rooms. This hotel was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect proximity to Newbury, the Prudential Center and the Berkeley School of Music. More importantly, the staff was wonderful and helpful. I arrived later in the evening and, at the front desk, was given a room upgrade and free continental breakfast which was shockingly NOT disappointing. I ended up ordering a few things (toothbrush, menus for...
First Class Hotel. I spent many nights in this hotel during my move from Washington State to Massachusetts. The staff was attentive and responsive. The management team went out of their way to make me feel welcome. They definitely live up to Hilton's Values and Make it Right Promise.

I stayed here on a business trip. I was here for an early check in and, unfortunately was not able to be accommodated due to full booking the night before. However, the staff was able to accommodate this and store my luggage until a room was available allowing me to go out and enjoy some time visiting Boston. My luggage was delivered directly to my room. The rooms were well maintained and clean. I...
Great. Cool corporate hotel. loved it. Interesting inner courtyard going on with indoor room balconies which are strange but fun. Glass elevators. Beautiful views. River walk out the back with bunnies galore. Too many bunnies...had to be dozens, it was scary, cute and amazing.
Beautiful hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the views of the river from the rooms are immaculate. The restaurants are very good, and the service and staff at the front desk and restaurant are cordial and attentive. My one issue is the location to downtown Boston. There is no hotel shuttle so you have to drive 15 - 20 minutes to get downtown, and parking in Boston is very expensive. As...
Second time staying here for the weekend. I love what they did with the lobby renovation. Spacious room with great view of the Charles River. You can easily find free parking on Vassar street and it’s free for the whole weekend. The only down side is when there is a wedding going on, the elevator wait can get very long even there are 4 elevators. Aside from that, when we finally got to the first floor...
Overall a great stay. If you haven’t been in a while there are some changes to the lobby and restaurant. The restaurant was disappointing with a very limited menu and so so food. We had planned to have dinner there, so made do with the small menu. Our waitresses were great. Room service is no longer available which was a disappointment. There’s not a lot of food options within walking distance....
Bed is comfortable, room is spacious, tv is massive. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and outdoor area with loungers. Fitness room is off of the swimming pool area. The lobby has a store with snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. Parking is hourly with the option of valet. Overnight parking is $40. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Just finished a 5 night stay at this wonderful hotel. Everything was perfect and we always felt that the hotel took the extra steps to make our stay feel very personal. This is a stunning and glamorous historic hotel located in the heart of Back Bay right on Copley Square. Room was spacious and beds very comfortable. Staff kindly accommodated our request for early check in.
Beautiful hotel! Great thing is that right outside the hotel there is something to do, such as the library, 2 churches, not far from new berry street. The hotel is very upscale and classy. The rooms are a good size with a large bathtub. Toiletries are from Le Labo. The bar downstairs has professional bartenders.
A good place. Great staff. The room is undoubtedly upscale, despite its age. The doors are a little sticky, but the furniture and bathroom are in excellent condition. You can still appreciate the hotel's history while enjoying modern amenities.
Stayed here on a trip through New England and had a great time! We booked this place for a great price, but I would happily pay more to stay here again. Great hotel. Very clean. The room was spacious and beautiful. $39 for parking a day is pretty steep though. But it is in a very convenient location. Close to a lot of fun activities.
Solid hotel for a business trip - friendly and efficient front desk check-in. Rooms are well appointed, including irons that work and proper hair dryers. Front staff accommodated our reasonable requests quickly and happily. No complaints! There is also a Trader Joe's within 5 minutes walk.
Great location and rooms. The staff are friendly. The restaurant has good food. The city/river views are amazing and worth the cost. Sunrise or set on the Charles River is beautiful. There's a Starbucks, Trader's Joe's and Whole Foods nearby. You can also walk to Harvard square on a nice day. The only downside is the small gym
Great venue for an event. We made some Tee Shirts for some teenagers. Location staff, and facility is perfect for a medium sized venue. One of my favorites around Boston.
Great location. Accessible from Boston Downtown. Close to Harvard n MIT. Great views of the city from top floors. Has a bistro n a Japanese restaurant. Plenty of options to order in too.
We loved our stay. Some discrepancy on rates tho. Our first night, we booked online and a FANTASTIC rate. Our 2nd night, due to our flight being cancelled (thanks, Irma!) The manager gave us a "deal" which was about $70 higher on one room and $50 on the other. We weren't super happy but it was the best deal we found so we stayed anyway. Great location!

In town for Clemson-BC game. Great location 1 mile from stadium. Room was ready when promised, clean and good condition. Little trouble with check-in due to new employee. What he lacked in experience, he made up for in enthusiasm. Kudos to bartender, can’t remember her name, but she was handling it by herself before we left for the game, maybe 15-20 people and no one was waiting long for service...
I chose this hotel almost exclusively for the location. We wanted to be close to mass transit with as quick a ride to Fenway Park as possible, but also reasonably priced. This hotel met our needs perfectly well. As other reviewers have pointed out, your room isn't cleaned every day, nor towels replaced every day, in an effort to save costs/energy. I was fine with that. We enjoyed trying out the different...
Modern design rooms. Comfortable. Excellent lighting at desk and bedside reading, but absence of ceiling light can be a problem. Most helpful, immediately responsive staff. Breakfast better than most, but prepared in advance food reheated is rarely great, but ok selection. Get up early and walk the reservoir almost adjacent to the hotel. I will likely stay again.

I enjoyed the visit but when I was leaving my wife and I were approached by security to inform us that someone apparently wanted something more iside my car than I did. Our car was broken into with two shattered windows. I would say the parking situation could be improved.
Hotel has good parking, clean comfortable rooms and continental breakfast. I think Hampton Inn is generally a safe choice to save a little money and have a decent stay and this location is no exception.
Room was clean, front desk was polite and helpful. Nice view of the city from the pool which is on the 9th floor. My only complaint could be that we had to wait 20 for our room to be ready when we arrived at 4 p.m. despite having a reservation. But that's really not that big a deal since you cannot help someone checking out late from the room when you ask for a specific room number. Rather the room...
Good hotel , very convenient to the airport and downtown Boston. Parking garage directly across the street so parking was not an issue. Some nice views from the upper floors.
This location works with dana farber to offer cheaper rates for those with family in the hospitals around the area. The rooms are clean and functional, and the staff was extremely helpful and kind. The "pool" is more of a community bath, too small to really swim in. Overall a decent experience, at a very reasonable price.

We went for a weekend, trip to Boston, and stayed here for one night. When we checked in, they only had one more room available that we had booked. Good location to base yourself for a Boston trip. However, although the room was very clean, it was very dark and a little dingy as we had a window that overlooked a public corridor which meant we had to have a privacy blind down at all times. Great location! Central and near almost all the key sights. Plus, some great shopping. Hotel was well priced, clean and provided good service. Our only complaint would be the size of the room in general, but most specifically, the bathroom. Very small and would steam up quite quickly. Some renovations definitely required, but good value for the price paid. Overall a pleasurable stay with minor complaints

The Lenox is conveniently located in Bay Back close to shops, restaurants, Boston Common, and the Boston Marathon finish line. It was nice to be right in the middle of Fenway area, the rooms were small but comfortable and it was really need having a record player and a record collection to choose from! We enjoyed our 3 day stay. Hotel , room, and provided breakfast were very nice and met our expectations. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Not being located downtown made it much more economical than the expensive inner city hotels. The hotel itself is great and cheap. Service is good and they also offer breakfast for free in the morning. A lot of maps in the lobby. The rooms have television and WiFi is perfect. The actual location though isn’t nice, lots of drugs and homelessness and a bad area in general. It has nothing to do with the hotel but still good to know.

We entered a clean room on the fourth floor and I instantly noticed a sign apologizing for potential noise and earplugs by the bed; 'odd' was the first thought that popped into my head, but a nice thought on the hotel's part. Toward the evening hours I found out just why these are complimentary- though truth be told unless you're an incredibly...
Staff is exceptional. Always eager to help and answer any questions. Room was spacious and well maintained. The only downside is the location. Hotels free shuttle only goes every hour and a half to the subway station. More frequent would help greatly.

Clean and the staff was nice. Our flight the next day was cancelled, but the staff was accommodating and informative. I would stay again.
Very good location and well priced. Only bad thing is that there is no bar. The staff are friendly and the hotel is quiet. Breakfast is great and pizza place in the evening is tasty too. Recommended for young travellers who aren’t spending much time in the hotel.
Basic hotel but clean, comfortable and well priced for the great location right next to the Hancock building. The rooms are small but have all the necessities. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. Downstairs is a nice coffee shop. 100 Clarendon offers overnight parking. You can get your ticket validated to save six dollars a night if you are staying in the hotel.
I'm giving them a 3 because of the history & beauty of the building and kudos to the "cleaning staff" for the pride they take in their jobs. I am handicapped, NOT A GOOD PLACE FOR US! You have to park in a garage around the corner and tote your items yourself. Also, beware when you are told the hotel pays for the parking! Guess I miss understood...it cost $70 for 2 days & that is with the Hotel...
Ok, I add my vision of the main points treated in previous reviews of this place: - Rooms: They are not so extra tiny to me. My room was OK. - Beds: Mine was also comfortable. No complains. - Shower: Yes, mine wasn't warm enough. - Heating-noise: it was terrible. I could barely sleep. And it is even worse if you turn the fan from "auto" to "on". But if you don't do that, the room gets really cold ...
Nice hotel. Good location. Get a lot of noise from other people slamming their doors and heating isn't great.
