Hyatt Regency Boston/Cambridge

I stayed here on a business trip. I was here for an early check in and, unfortunately was not able to be accommodated due to full booking the night before. However, the staff was able to accommodate this and store my luggage until a room was available allowing me to go out and enjoy some time visiting Boston. My luggage was delivered directly to my room. The rooms were well maintained and clean. I felt the beds were comfortable. My only complaint is location. While conveniently located near MIT, due to a lack of transit options close to the hotel, it was not the easiest location to move from. Significant walking was required to even reach a transit stop. This long walk was improved by the waterfront views along the journey, however.

Great. Cool corporate hotel. loved it. Interesting inner courtyard going on with indoor room balconies which are strange but fun. Glass elevators. Beautiful views. River walk out the back with bunnies galore. Too many bunnies...had to be dozens, it was scary, cute and amazing.

Beautiful hotel. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the views of the river from the rooms are immaculate. The restaurants are very good, and the service and staff at the front desk and restaurant are cordial and attentive. My one issue is the location to downtown Boston. There is no hotel shuttle so you have to drive 15 - 20 minutes to get downtown, and parking in Boston is very expensive. As it is at the hotel. $44/ night, just as a heads up.

Second time staying here for the weekend. I love what they did with the lobby renovation. Spacious room with great view of the Charles River. You can easily find free parking on Vassar street and it’s free for the whole weekend. The only down side is when there is a wedding going on, the elevator wait can get very long even there are 4 elevators. Aside from that, when we finally got to the first floor there was a whole line of hotel guests also waiting but the staff told them they have to wait for the next one because the one was being “reserved” for the wedding guest. The whole wedding thing can have a better coordination IMO.

Overall a great stay. If you haven’t been in a while there are some changes to the lobby and restaurant. The restaurant was disappointing with a very limited menu and so so food. We had planned to have dinner there, so made do with the small menu. Our waitresses were great. Room service is no longer available which was a disappointment. There’s not a lot of food options within walking distance. There is a small coffee shop type of thing in the lobby. Other than that the room was spotless, great view and the staff was very professional.

Bed is comfortable, room is spacious, tv is massive. The hotel has an indoor swimming pool and outdoor area with loungers. Fitness room is off of the swimming pool area. The lobby has a store with snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. Parking is hourly with the option of valet. Overnight parking is $40. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Great service, wonderful views of the city. Nice open atrium, free shuttle to take you closer to downtown. Rooms are a unique layout and very comfortable, with high ceilings. Feel very spacious.
