YOTEL

I was just checked in by the rudest, coldest, least caring individual I've ever spoken to at any hotel in all of my travels. When I booked my room, I requested early check in and they responded that they would do their best to accommodate. Totally reasonable. When I arrived, they had a room available which was great but they told me it was an additional $25 to access my room early. I noted my dissatisfaction, given this wasn't disclosed at time of booking and she essentially told me take it or leave it. My room was not refundable, so I could either cancel without refund or come back at 3pm for regular check in. She never smiled, frowned, emoted or showed humanity in any way. It was like working with a vengeful robot. I get the futuristic theme of the hotel but if this is progress, count me out. This woman could not have cared less If I dropped dead at her counter, other than to move my body to eliminate a trip hazard. I'll never be back and you should look elsewhere. Perhaps I caught this particular employee on a bad day and my questioning set her off but there are better hotel options all around this area. Sure wish I had chosen one of them. I will next time and every time thereafter.
