Hilton Garden Inn Charleston Airport

Stayed Aug 1st, 2023. I’m a return guest largely in part based on this location’s outstanding customer service. Once again, they did not disappoint. Front desk agent Miss Marilyn was so kind and friendly, she instantly brought a smile to my face after a long and tiring journey. She was professional, thorough and very efficient. I’m hoping management reviews this for a well deserved “pat on the back”. Additionally, Miss Danielle at the bar and Miss Cheryl in the restaurant impressed me with their southern charm and polite conversation.
I was disappointed this stay with the noise levels due to Hotel construction. It made it very difficult to get any rest with workers pounding the walls with hammers non stop until 5pm and bright and early at 8am. I was exhausted by check out, getting very little rest. I would have hoped the property would have warned me on their website of construction and adjusted my rate accordingly as other Hilton properties have, but this was not the case. I was kindly afforded a Diamond member late checkout to get some rest, but it was just more Loud Hammering to experience and not restful.
Otherwise, my room was clean and comfortable. The airport shuttle was also a nice benefit.

The front desk staff was amazing. The bed was super comfortable.
