Do not stay here for any concert!! Yes, the convince of the walk to the stadium is a plus. However, check in is a t 4 and will have you waiting 3+ hours for your room to be ready making you late to the concert. People were having to get ready in the hotel Lobby. Not only that the elevators were broken so we had to climb 15+ flights of stairs with luggage. At check out when I asked if anything could be comped for this they said no, not even the 75$ valet parking. Do better if I’m paying $600+ a night to stay at your hotel

This place is a Joke… room rate $395 a night for mess. Paint peeling in the room. They advertise that you get free Wi-Fi but when you get there gotta pay $10 and you can’t even stream! Parking was CRAZY HIGH $53 per day. Shower does not drain properly at all. Oh and don’t book then have to leave due to a family emergency they still going to charge you for all your days present or not. I Will not use a Charlotte Marriott location ever again. Your policy should help people not go against them!

Nice spot right in the middle of things. M lounge was well stocked for breakfast snacks and dessert. The gym was well equipped with plenty of treadmills, free weights and a room for spinning. Good towel service. We did not use the restaurant but it looked nice and had a good menu.

Hotel is nice. Restaurant is great. Bed was comfy. Staff is very friendly. Valet was exceptional. Only down here is the noise. The street down below is so loud. Bass from cars. Loud cars revving and fire trucks. I stayed in a hotel in Downtown Detroit they was near the people mover. It’s an elevated train that runs. The room had a small white noise machine that you could run during the night to cut down on street noise. It was amazing. These rooms would benefit from this 100 percent. Both nights of sleep weren’t great being woken up multiple times a night due to street noise.

I want to rate this hotel higher, but due to the poor level of sleep we got here, I can't, and I am not sure I will stay here again. Although I actually like it. Let's start with the positive condition. The bed was super comfortable, and the pillows were great. The hotel is in the central area of uptown. It has clean and modern rooms. The front desk staff was great. The young man handling the valet was also good. The customer service was fantastic.
What keeps this from being a 5-star rating is 75% of the noise level and a few other things. It was chaotic when we pulled in due to the number of cars checking into the hotel. I really felt terrible for the valet. They may need more staff. The expensive valet is the only parking option, $48 per night. The awful noise level from the street is the biggie that keeps me from rating this hotel higher. We could not sleep well in the wonderfully comfortable bed because the noise level was up all night. If you stay here, definitely ask if there is a quiet area if you plan on sleeping. Otherwise, your sleep quality may be majorly impacted, as ours was. I wish we had asked to move our room, but we were already late for check-in. Maybe a different room would have changed the entire experience and this would be a higher rating. I really like the Marriott brand but we got very little sleep and had a very long drive home the next day. It was was awful. We did have a 12 checkout time but due to the noise we left a few hours earlier. Sleep was just not going to happen. The closet and bathrooms are somewhat small, but it is no big deal.

The room was spacious, the king size bed was super comfortable and I live out west so the shower pressure was spectacular.

Beautiful hotel. You have to Valet your car and you only pay one time which we really liked. If you don't want to valet there are some parking decks close by. The room was nice. The temperature in the room was just not wanting to cooperate. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom wasn't really private if you want privacy. The location of the hotel was great. So much to do in walking distance. We enjoyed our stay!

This was first time in Charlotte and I chose this Marriott based on location. I was not disappointed with a beautiful lobby and reception area. There were many options of food and drink to choose from including a great coffee joint for breakfast and a fun bar in the evening. The rooms were typical modern Marriott with everything you would expect.

Very classy rooms, nice looking and clean. Very disappointed there was no microwave! If I’m paying this much for a hotel I should at least be able to microwave my leftovers. In addition there was no vending machine on my floor just ice. Not to mention NO COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST, you have got to be kidding me. This is very unsatisfactory for a hotel that is suppose to be “high quality”.

I really enjoyed this Marriott location! The rooms and lobby were renovated quite nicely in 2016 and I found the staff to be quite friendly and accommodating. The food offerings in the M Club Lounge were among the best that I have had at a domestic full-service Marriott property.
