Staff personable and friendly. Check in/out a breeze. The rooms were beautiful and spotless. Breakfast is a lovely section. Well stocked with great choices for everyone. Kids too! Bonus supplying take out trays and bags. We enjoyed our stay and will look for Hyatt on our future trips!

Steven was a real gem to give us such outstanding valet service. He went the extra mile to make it a great time for our band.

Additionally I wanted to say that the mgr Jafar and the ladies working the check-in desk Angel (and maybe Katrina) and many other staff members gave us outstanding service. Really excellent.

Decent location. Parking is a hassle if you don't valet. But I need access to things in my vehicle so .. I self parked in a surface lot to the west. Rooms are clean and nicely appointed. Good air-conditioning. There is a restaurant that you can reach by going down the hotel elevators to the lobby and then up another set of elevators.... Oddly laid out hotel. Lobby is on 10th floor.... Just a few things hit kind of strange about this location probably will try a different hotel next time I'm in town.

PROS- Free Breakfast bar. Large quiet rooms. Location to downtown events. Views. CONS- Hotel starts on 10th floor. 1 working elevator. I parked in the lot in front and got an $85 ticket. No free parking. Dirty carpet in rooms. Not very modern.

The rooms were nice and spacious. The hotel did not have a pool, which was very disappointing. The area where we checked in was hot. The receptionist was great. I'm sorry she had to endure the heat due to air conditioning issues. No where to park your car on the street. Everything in the area came with a price, and the valey parking was $38.00 a night. They also had a restaurant on the premises called Fahrenheit.

First time visiting Charlotte, the hotel is in a great location. But the lobby is on the tenth floor. The only regret is that the hotel requires check-out at twelve o'clock. I applied in advance until one o'clock in the afternoon due to something else, but was told that I had to pay US$25 for late check-out. It’s strange that the hotel has such a weird rule: you can check in at 3pm the day before and check out at 12pm the next day. The guest pays for the hotel for one day, but does not actually enjoy it for one day. Where can I go to reason? I have applied at other hotels before, and I can check out at 2 p.m. at the latest. Is this hotel like this?

Check in is on the 10th floor. The room is cold, the restaurant is hot, and you have to use valet parking. There is a homeless parking lot next to it. City Walk smells like chicken. The rating is average because I am a kind person and I never want to go to Charlotte again.
