No matter what negative review there is, you can ignore it. These people are simply unhappy. This hotel is absolutely beautiful and amazing. The location in uptown Charlotte is ideal. The lobby is large and elegant, with a lounge and bar. My room was clean, spacious and very beautiful. I stayed in the Royal Suite on the 21st floor with a great view of the city. The shower is large compared to other hotels. The only negative is that you have to pay for parking. That's $25 a day, which isn't the end of the world considering inflation and how much parking costs in New York or Boston! Last but not least is the 9 minute walk to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse.

It was a beautiful and spacious hotel! Parking is confusing, but once you get the hang of it, you're fine! The room was clean and spacious! The lighting in the rooms is good and we loved all the mirrors... the bathroom was absolutely amazing! ..we will definitely come back! .. The only thing that sucked was the lack of room service, but the bar/restaurant stayed open late so order from there and take it to your room!

A comfy robe is provided. The room is huge and comfortable. I loved the ambiance. Right in the center of Charlotte. Lots to walk yo including the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

If you are attending shows at the Convention Center this is the place to stay. Though if you are the type in the evening that likes to relax in your room to watch TV they don't have many channel selections. A lot of vagrants walking around and will bother and beg people for money and cigarettes. Valet is available and quick. Self park is $35, valet is $45. So just spend the extra $10 and do valet.

This was a great hotel. I stayed here with my boyfriend for an overnight trip. Cleanest hotel I’ve ever seen. The housekeeping staff definitely do their jobs well. Super appreciative of them of doing such a great job. It smelled clean, looked clean, was close to many locations to eat and bar hop, within walking distance of several theaters and the Bank of America stadium. There are 6 elevators, quiet floors, and it’s very well marked for where to go. Rooms are very clean, it’s quiet, and the beds and pillows are comfortable. JP Charlotte is downstairs and is very good. Hak, one of the waitresses, is hilarious. Overall a great overnight trip. Thank so much!

Nothing special. No continental breakfast. No fan in the bathroom for night noise. No unit in each room that can be left for fan noise so we can hear people talking and bumping around in the hall and our neighbors too.. The A/C does not get the room cold enough to use covers at night. The parking deck had no directions on how to get to the hotel entrance. Lugging our belongings from the parking deck took 3 trips with the heat index at 103 with no luggage cart offered or seen.
There is a tiny table large enough for my laptop but not enough room for any papers with it and 1 chair to sit at it. 1 person at a time can sit at the table to eat or work. No microwave. The view from our window is of roofs. The valet parking guys were real gentlemen opening the doors for us. The sheets are thick and smooth. The room is clean.

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ. ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a room. This site will compare countless hotel sites and will usually have prices that are much lower than others! Thanks later! This hotel has the best rating in the area. I've lived here for many years. If you stay a few nights, I'm sure you'll enjoy it! Now this is a hotel!! Our room was a Jack and Jill room which was a living/living room, bedroom and two bathrooms. Everything about this hotel was perfect. I'll definitely be back!

Nice hotel...just needs some updates. Staff was very friendly. Valet was quick. Room was nice. The shower was fantastic. No room service while we were there, which was a bummer.
