Waterwalk Arrowood Mini-hotel

I’m writing to express my deep disappointment with a recent stay at your property, which was unfortunately one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. Upon arrival, the front desk informed my husband that no reservation existed under my name. I had to show proof of our confirmed reservation before we were assigned a room. The room we were given had no functioning air conditioning, was in the middle of being cleaned, and the staff did not acknowledge us when we tried to enter. After an hour and a half without air conditioning, we requested a different room and were initially told none were available. However, once I mentioned I would be contacting corporate and noted that rooms were still showing as available on your website, a room suddenly became available and was given to us. I also requested pillows and was told there were none. Additionally, I was surprised to find that no breakfast was offered, despite an expectation of continental breakfast being included. The condition of the hotel was extremely poor — surfaces were dirty, the building had an unpleasant odor, and the overall cleanliness and service were well below acceptable standards. As a travel agent, I value quality service and accommodations not just for myself, but for my clients. I regret to say I will be steering future bookings away from Wyndham properties based on this experience. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and look into these concerns. I would appreciate a response and any steps you plan to take to address this.

I made a confirmed reservation at this hotel, however when I arrived, there were no rooms available. I was simply "out of luck" and was forced to scramble to find another hotel. I do not recommend making a reservation or having the expectation that your reservation will be honored.
