You can hear a pin drop in the hallways that's how sound proof the rooms are. Any conversation you're having in your room can be heard from anyone in the hallway and vice versa. Sleeping here was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Also, even though there's a restaurant and they charge a ton of money to members and guests, they still don't have room service which is annoying in my opinion. Rooms don't have bath tubs either, the whole experience in staying in a luxury hotel is entirely missed on this one, I've had better rest at a holiday inn.

I am extremely disappointed with the overall lack of communication by the staff here.
My partner and I wanted to do a little one night staycation to celebrate our 4-year anniversary. We are both in our early twenties, work very regular jobs, but we wanted to do something special. I booked a king bed standard room through expedia, which said it would come out to about $368 (around $269 + resort fee + parking fee (even though we didn’t use parking). I called the resort the day before to confirm that this would be the total price, and they said yes. The day of check in, I hand the front desk person my debit card and I get charged $468- a whole $100 more than what I was expecting. Again, $100 is a lot for me right now given rent was just due and I just spent 400 bucks on a one night stay. The person at the front desk did NOT disclose the “debit card fee” with me until after he’d swiped my card. I told him I wish he’d told me that so I would’ve given him my credit card and he kind of brushed it off. He said that the $100 should take 3-5 business days to clear, which was not good because I needed that $100 to pay my rent. He said I could call my bank to expedite the $100 hold and was very apologetic after I mentioned that. Anyway, he was actually really nice to upgrade us to a suite and give us a $50 restaurant credit. So thank you Mitchell. HOWEVER, at CHECK OUT (after an otherwise very lovely and luxurious stay), I get charged another $52 ON TOP of the already $100 gone from my account. Again without being told about it. My issue here is COMMUNICATION. Why are we charging cards without confirming with the customer first? I ask what the $52 is, and the lady at the front desk tells me it’s the resort and parking fees. Which is interesting because the base fee for my stay was $269 and WITH RESORT AND PARKING FEES it was $368. So why did I get charged again? She told me it takes 5-7 business days to clear. Sorry I can’t wait that long because now I’m down $152 which means I’m unable to pay my rent in full by the 5th of the month. And it’s on me to call my bank and figure it out instead of enjoying the rest of my anniversary.
My mother worked as a hotel manager for 20+ years of her life and I work in customer service so I know what bad communication and service staff looks like. Clearly they expect everyone staying here to be wealthy and don’t consider that some of us are just trying to do something fancy for one night. I will not be staying here again and I am now in a very difficult position.

This is a great place to stay if you don’t like to sleep in past 5am. The combo gym/hotel concept is stupid. I don’t know what was going on below us from 5-7 am, but it sounded like a door slamming class with a drill sergeant. And it wasn’t just the noise, it was the constant vibrations which shook the walls and bed constantly. I managed to doze off for a few minutes between 7-8am but after 8 very loud music started playing. Terrible. I think I would have slept better on a park bench.

Complimentary earplugs were provided, at first I thought that was a nice touch for light sleepers. Until 6AM when it sounded like our room was under siege.. Very noisy and disruptive to sleep. We were hoping to enjoy some of the fitness club in the morning but were too sleep deprived to be able to do so. The front desk clerk seemed fully aware when I commented on the noise. If you need to sleep past 6AM this is not the hotel for you.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed here for the first time during St. Patrick’s day weekend. He had lost his wallet and the hotel didn’t accept Apple Pay or cash for the security deposit even though we paid for the room in advance. The staff was very nice and helpful despite the difficult situation, and luckily we were able to figure it out. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is pretty central which was nice, but be aware it is not in a walkable area. The athletic club is what makes the hotel so worth it. We spent a lot of time working out and relaxing in the sauna and steam room which were spacious and luxurious. The food at the cafe was very good as well. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Very nice sized room, very helpful staff and great amenities at the hotel.

Great rooms. Love the clean contemporary design. Known for their workout facilities. Dining options slightly limited, but hotel restaurant food was great for dinner and breakfast. Great spa services. In contrast to some other reviews, our room was quiet and we didn't have issues with noise. We were on a higher floor (5th). Overall had a great experience and relaxing weekend stay with my wife.

My wife and I used the Hotel at Midtown for our wedding. We reserved a block of rooms, rented one of their suites to use to get ready for the day, and hosted a brunch the next morning in one of their conference rooms - everything went great. The hotel manager we worked with, Oksana, was communicative in person and over email, and she was very helpful in getting us set up and touring early on. Their staff took care of us incredibly well when we were there, and we ended up using their rooftop for wedding photos, as it was a beautiful day out. Would highly recommend Midtown as a hotel stay experience. Also, that doesn't even get into the facilities on location - we'll definitely be back.
Thank you
Thank you

No microwaves in the entire facility, restaurant had limited hours and there was no room service, were the downsides. On the other hand, the hotel and facilities were modern and impressive. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

Overall this was a missed opportunity. The service was lacking from checkout to departure. The staff offered no info on amenities, didn’t ask whether I’d been there before, so my review speaks only to the hotel. Maybe it gets better? For me however, my experience was an elevator that smelled like sweat every day and a room with walls thin enough to hear slamming doors and weights dropping throughout my stay. The pillows seemed to have waterproof covers that had to deflate before you could settle in. Overall not a good experience.
The only positives I can really say they offered was the convenience of parking.

Expensive, but worth the price. Very upscale feel, clean rooms, and attentive staff. Shoutout to Chase working the front desk. You have access to the fitness center facilities while you stay, so if that is something you are looking for, you will be very pleased with what they have on-site.
The connected restaurant/bar was also a great experience. The food menu is somewhat limited due to the nature of it being a hotel restaurant, but what they do have is all incredible. Actually very reasonable prices for drinks and food as well. Good vibe at the bar if you need somewhere to escape to during your stay. Bartenders were very friendly.
The only downside was trying to check-in early was essentially impossible due to the rooms not being ready, but we were able to get in around the guaranteed 4pm check-in time. They will hold your bags for you if you arrive early and want to hang out at the bar or go somewhere else while you wait for your room.
